Tuesday, August 15, Y&R day ahead recap: Victoria defends Nate to her parents, Nick and Adam argue about Sally, and Audra and Kyle plot their future.
Monday’s Y&R day ahead: Victor tore a strip off Adam, Diane had a warning for Kyle, and Traci ripped into Jack.

Victoria stops by the ranch to welcome her father home. He informs her that Adam crossed a line again.
Nikki doesn’t want to talk about this again.
She just calmed her husband down.
Victor explains how his son was blackmailing Audra to pitch the merger.
That doesn’t surprise Victoria. Her father says it’s all been handled. His daughter hopes this is the final straw.
He says her brother agrees with her.
They’ve all reached their limits with Adam.
Nikki declares he’s nothing but a troublemaker and it can’t continue.
Victor announces he has given his son one last chance.
That doesn’t go over well with his daughter, who still wants Adam replaced.
Nikki points out it would be bad for the company at this time.
She adds that Nate was also proposing the merger.
Her daughter should be more concerned about that.
Victoria insists that she can trust him to do what’s best for the company.
Her father is less impressed and trusts Audra more.
Nikki doesn’t trust either of them. Victoria doesn’t trust Audra at all and wonders what else she could be capable of.
Nikki doesn’t know why her daughter is protecting Nate while suggesting they get rid of Audra.
Victoria keeps defending Nate, insisting his only crime is ambition.
“So, get rid of Adam and fire Audra, is that it?” Victor asks.
His daughter isn’t sure about Audra, but she is sure that Adam’s egomania is too much.
Nikki agrees but they need to keep him in place due to the capital Victor has secured for Adustus.
Victoria hopes her daddy figures out it’s time to cut Adam off before it’s too late.
Once she leaves, Nikki tells her husband that she agrees with their daughter.
It’s hard for her to stand by and watch Adam hurt him. He knows that he’s given his son more opportunities than his other children, but he was a damaged boy.
Maybe it’s time to hold him accountable.
His wife says Adam never learns. They are stronger if they stand united.
Taking her hand, he admits it may be time to reconsider his relationship with Adam.
At Adam’s new place, Sally says she’s surprised he still has photos of them.
She says it’s unhealthy to hold onto the past. He says they represent a time when he was truly happy.
He knows she’s moved on and that doesn’t mean he needs to forget they have a past.
He did not plan a trap for her to find them so he could inflict his feelings on her.
She was snooping.
Sally says she wants him to find someone who loves him the way he deserves.
He can’t just turn off his feelings for her.
Nick starts banging on the door. When he barges in, he tells his brother he’s out of his mind and then notices Sally is there.
Adam tells his brother they can talk tomorrow after he’s calmed down.
Sally wonders what’s going on. Adam says it’s nothing. Nick recaps the whole blackmail plot.
Adam thinks “blackmail” is an overstatement but Nick thinks that he needs to back off because he’s gone too far.
He insists that everyone knows the merger is the right idea but they’re being difficult because they hate him.
Sally asks what he did with Audra.
He explains that he cleaned things up for her in exchange for her going to his father with the merger idea.
Nick thinks he’s spinning things to make himself look good.
Adam insists the end justifies the means. Sally can’t listen to this anymore and exits.
Adam immediately accuses his brother of messing up his life.
Nick thinks he needs to grow up and recognize their father is fed up with him.
He orders Adam to respect his relationship with Sally. Adam points out that she ordered food, set the table, and started unpacking his boxes.
She may remember how much he hurt her, but that will fade and she will realize she deserves someone who loves her more than Nick ever will.
Nick thinks he’s delusional and tells him to move on.
Adam is sure he will never put Sally first.
He can respect her feelings but he couldn’t care less about Nick’s feelings.
His brother thinks he can’t see beyond his rage and he’s unable to face that he has nothing and it’s all his fault.
He’s crazy if he thinks he’ll let all this slide.
Nick walks out.
Nick goes to Sally’s and apologizes for going off the way he did. He’s sure Adam tricked her into being there.
She admits there has been a gradual change in her relationship with her ex.
She’s reached the point she can forgive him and brought him a goodwill gift.
He’s happy for her but reaching out to Adam rarely goes well. She adds there was something important
Adam wanted to talk about but then he showed up.
They drop this and she welcomes him home with a kiss.

Nate sits at the bar at the GCAC and thinks about Audra encouraging him to take things further with Victoria.
Tucker sits beside him and orders a drink. After Nate congratulates him on his wedding, he asks why he’s not on his honeymoon.
He brings up his dodging a bullet with Audra.
Nate advises him to delete everything in his spam folder.
Tucker is surprised that he and Audra are so close and pokes him about Victoria.
He warns him of how dangerous and self-centered Audra is.
He won’t see it coming if she aims for something.
Audra and Kyle lounge in her bed and he tells her to call him a genius again.
She says his plan to expose Adam was a stroke of genius. They both wish they could have watched Victor tear him down.
Kyle thinks the merger makes sense… without Adam. She says the rest of the Newmans are against it.
She also thinks Victor might like her now. He’s sure she’ll figure out a way to get Victoria and Nikki on board too.
They make out. With Victoria distracted by Nate, the sky could be the limit for them.
They could have huge potential to shape the world and influence the masses.
After they get their robes on, she explains it’s not all about power and money: it’s also about the rush.
She just wants to enjoy herself and he seems like someone who hasn’t had enough fun.
That’s why they are good for each other.
They make out. She suggests they are reaching the point where spending the night together sounds appealing.
Tucker bangs on the door. When she opens, he teases her about getting some “Kyle Abbott action.”
Kyle puts his shirt on and welcomes his uncle.
Audra taunts him about his wedding and Tucker brags that it was great and his bride is sleeping peacefully. He asks for some “alone time” with Audra. She tells him that it’s all over.
Adam finds Audra and Kyle in the club. He doesn’t know if she’s a genius or a coward.
When he threatens to release the damning information he has, Kyle stands up for her.
Adam isn’t impressed. He announces that he and his father have reached an understanding.
He’s determined to regain control of Newman Media, even if he has to burn down the world to do it.
He leaves her with her “puppy dog.” Kyle is sure that he would burn everything down.
She’s looking forward to seeing him self-destruct.
Victoria joins Nate at the bar and tells him everything has been resolved.
She admits his involvement with Audra caught her off-guard. He apologizes for not being more transparent and says he never wants to make her think she can’t trust him.
He knows her mom doubts him, but he wants to be by her side every day.
This is the most at home he’s felt at home since he was a surgeon.
She talks about their connection and how she wants them to grow together.
He insists that he worked with Audra because he thought it was the right thing to do.
He tells Victoria he would do anything and everything for her. She takes his hand.
She says he’s saying all the right things. He offers to take her upstairs.
Victoria needs to go home to her kids and says they can talk tomorrow.
