Mon Oct 9, Y&R day ahead recap: Devon asks Tucker about his connection to Mamie, Heather tells Daniel she’s moving back, and Billy opens Tucker’s gift.
Friday’s Y&R day ahead: Tucker and Audra Crash Diane and Jack’s Vow Renewal, and Nikki Puts Diane on Notice

In his suite, Daniel looks at apartments online.
Heather arrives.
She tells him she’s nearly finished off her last cases.
He senses she seems a bit flustered.
They sit and she admits things have been unresolved since she last left.
When his mom asked her if she thought about returning to the States, she realized how strong her longing to return was.
She’s wrapped up her law practice in Europe and is coming back to Genoa City so Lucy can be close to her dad.
He’s thrilled. That’s a relief to her. She was really nervous.
Daniel didn’t think she’d ever want to be close to him again. She reminds him he destroyed their family.
He’s struggled with wondering if she could ever forgive him.
Her wanting to come back has been one of his wildest dreams.
Heather says she’s seen how much he’s grown into the man she thought he could be.
She completely forgives him.
She had to let all the anger and resentment go.
He’s glad she didn’t give up on him and likes the idea of seeing her and their daughter every day.
That’s all she needed to hear.
He’s sure that she will be a success there and tells her she has options.
He even offers to see if she can work at Chancellor-Winters.
She’s planning to move immediately.
They go down to the lobby and arrange things for Lucy.
If there’s anything she needs, he’ll get it done.
She thanks him for making this so easy.
He’s still surprised she thought it would go poorly and couldn’t be happier.
They agree to a drink tomorrow and awkwardly hug.
He tells her this will be great.
Tucker mopes at the bar in the GCAC and flashes back to talking to Audra about his breakup with Ashley.
She encouraged him to call off his attack but he refused to let anything stop him from dismantling the Abbotts.
Devon shows up and asks his father how sincere he is about making peace with Jack.
Tucker insists he was totally sincere. Ashley broke his heart and he wanted her family to suffer but realized he couldn’t hold them accountable.
Vengeance was exhausting.
Devon is reluctant to believe he’s changed.
His father doesn’t know how to prove it beyond the actions he takes from now on.
He assures him he has no ulterior motive and only wants peace and quiet.
Devon asks what his connection to Mamie is.
Tucker claims he hardly knows her so his son brings up the look they exchanged.
His son explains this his aunt’s recent moves don’t make sense.
The timing of her return seems suspicious.
Tucker claims it’s all random.
He just knows Mamie and worries his son is buying into the town’s suspicions of him.
Devon chooses to believe him on this.
His father asks if he can help regarding his suspicions of Mamie.
Devon decides it’s late and he needs to go.
He assures his father that he is happy if he meant what he said earlier, but regaining his trust is down to him.
At the Abbott estate, in the garden, Jack tells Diane that he won’t let Tucker’s interruption spoil things.
He just wants to focus on his beautiful life and how much he loves her.
He realizes they never danced. She points out the band is gone.
He turns on some music and they dance.
They’ve proved everyone wrong. They will have to accept them.
She wishes this night could last forever.
They sit down and talk about how great it was that Kyle officiated.
It was also great that he hardly acknowledged Audra and got along with Summer.
He doesn’t think they should get involved.

Staring at a gift box, Traci and Billy talk about how nice the ceremony is.
He can’t stop staring.
He’s curious about what’s inside but she’s sure it’s just one of Tucker’s sick jokes and they should throw it out.
He wonders if the gift could contain a clue about Tucker is thinking.
His sister points out it might just be a blender and suggests they dump it in the trash.
He opens it instead. It’s a bonsai tree.
Traci laughs and hopes he’s satisfied.
Jack comes in and sees the gift has been opened.
This outrages him but Diane is glad that it’s open because that takes the power away from it.
He doesn’t want Tucker invading their day anymore.
Diane thinks they should just see this as a harmless gift but Jack is sure that things with Tucker are far from done.
As she tells them they should stop wasting their time thinking of Tucker, he listens through a bug.
Audra spots Kyle at Crimson Lights and flashes back to Tucker ordering her to rekindle things with Kyle as part of their plot against Jabot.
She sidles up to him and he wonders what she has on her mind.
She admits she followed him there.
He reminds her she claimed she wanted nothing to do with him.
She claims she misses them.
Audra wanted to say something but lost her never with Nikki glaring at her. What happens next is up to him.
He’s not feeling generous after the way she dumped him.
Audra offers to do anything to make it up to him.
They rush back to her suite, making out.
After they have sex, she says they can continue to see each other.
She’s decided they are worth the risk. He warns her about Nikki but she claims not to be concerned.
It sounds to him like she has a back-up plan.
She alludes to options but won’t explain anything.
She asks what he’s been up to since he got fired and claims she regrets giving in to Nikki about that.
He admits he has a few possibilities of his own.
There might be an opening at Jabot soon if Billy is on his way out.
She wonders if he really thinks Jack would give him that position.
Diane would seem to be next in line. He says she’s not ready for a position like that and he’s sure his dad knows that.
If Jack doesn’t get rid of Billy, he’ll have to find something else.
