Tuess Oct 10 recap of B&B: Deacon tells Sheila that Hope will come around, RJ tells Luna she’s a mystery, and Finn urges Hope to talk to her father.
Monday’s B&B recap: Finn told Sheila to go back to Genoa City while Hope enthused about insightful Finn.
In the Forrester Creations office, Hope asks Finn what’s wrong.
He flashes back to Sheila and Deacon informing him that they’re engaged.
She asks what’s going on again and he plays it off as nothing.
Hope keeps prodding.
He hates that she’s been hurt and wants her to be happy.
Finn just wanted to check in after their conversation about Thomas.
She says he’s a bad liar and that’s a good thing.
“Go talk to your father, Hope,” he urges.
He bumps into his mom. She’s confused about why he’s there.
He explains he’s concerned about Hope.
His mom reminds him of the history between Steffy and Hope and asks if he wants to do something else to push his wife away.
Down the hall, RJ tells Luna that she is becoming more interesting thanks to her mystery.
He teasingly jokes she must be a spy and adds that she’s a “beautiful mystery” he can’t wait to know more about.
She repeats she won’t share his secrets.
He says she can trust him with secrets too.
Carter pokes in to discuss Eric’s taste in expensive lace and starts going on about how gifted RJ is.
He pulls RJ away to go over some invoices.
Her mom calls her. Luna makes a sour face.
After a few rings, she answers and her mom accuses her of avoiding her.
She orders her to end things at Forrester today.
Luna tells her how amazing it is to work there and her mom insists she will never make anything of herself there.
It’s only a matter of time until it all comes crashing down.
Luna insists she’s fine and happy there and she’s even working with Mr Eric Forrester.
Her mom says her dream will turn into a nightmare and her Aunt Li will never allow this.
Getting off the phone, Luna pouts and sniffles until RJ returns and notices.
She explains her mom called… her mom was a free spirit and they raised each other.
She didn’t want her to come to LA but she always dreamed of being in fashion.
She wants to stay more than anything.
RJ says that he and Eric think she really clicks with the company and in other ways.
It means a lot to him that he can trust her.
He doesn’t want her going anywhere. They hug.
She’s surprised when he tells her how good she is for him. He gets called away to the loading dock.
“Luna? What are you doing here?” a shocked Li demands when she walks in and spots her.

Daily B&B spoilers into October
At their place, Sheila tells Deacon how much of a danger he will be in of losing Hope after she learns of their engagement.
Is it really worth it?
He knows their relationship will blow people’s minds but he wants a life with her.
She doesn’t want him resenting her if this costs him but he’s sure Hope will eventually come around.
She’s got a big heart.
He says they get things done and can beat the odds.
Deacon assures her she won’t ruin things with Hope.
Eventually, she will see that they are good for each other and accept he made the right decision.
She loves him. Deacon says he’s determined to make sure everyone believes in her redemption like he does.
Sheila doesn’t know what she did to deserve all this but promises she will never take him for granted.
Hope starts banging on the door.
Deacon refuses to let Sheila hide and says his daughter finds out about them today.
He gets her to step into the other room and lets Hope is.
She explains Finn sent her so she asks if he’s in trouble.
He announces that he’s in love and he’s been keeping it on the down low because he doesn’t know how people will take it.
When he assures her she’s in no danger, she demands to know who he is in love with.
Sheila steps out. “Hello Hope,” she says, joining Deacon.
Hope’s eyes bug out and she starts shaking her head.
