Mon Nov 6, Y&R day ahead recap: Chloe tells Sally going back to Marchetti was a mistake, Lily talks Devon into giving Nate a shot, and Lucy and Heather return to Genoa City.
Friday’s recap: Claire made a mysterious call, Aria was fitted with hearing aids — and could hear, while Victor went off the rails and decided to tell his family the truth.

At the penthouse, Daniel tells Lily that she was a genius for recommending Sally as his designer.
He asks her to join them but she has to get to work.
He asks if she’s still cool with him living only a few floors away.
She points out it’s a little late to ask. He just wants her to be as excited as he is.
Kissing him, she says she’s really, really happy and asks him never to ask again.
They have some time to kill and make out.
Devon stops by Society to see Abby and fills her in on the good news about Aria.
He admits he’s feeling a little unsettled by all the change happening these days.
She’s confused. He’s mostly worried about Mamie and the company.
Abby says that maybe working things out with Nate could be positive. He thinks that’s for the future and can’t be forced.
She assures him that Mamie is no one to be afraid of as long as he trusts his instincts.
He worries that Tucker is behind Mamie’s investment.
That sounds like nails on a chalkboard to her but she’s sure Devon will do the right thing.
Devon loves that she makes everything sound so simple.
They hug and she wishes him luck.
Devon goes to the penthouse to see his sister. They talk about their aunt and her plans.
Nate burned a lot of bridges. He’s not sure Mamie is being totally honest either.
Lily thinks their aunt’s ultimate plan may be to push Jill out so their family is soul owner.
He can’t see Mamie taking down Jill and Tucker isn’t giving away any details of whatever he’s up to.
He’s tired of having to worry about his father.
Besides, the Nate issue is moot because he’s happy where he is.
Lily seems a lot more convinced about how important it is to bring the family back together.
Most of their family is gone and Nate has made an effort to put the past in the past.
Shruggingly, he agrees to give it a try.
When he walks out, he sends Nate a text, asking if they can grab a drink.
Heather and Lucy arrive at the GCAC and smile to themselves.
Lucy hopes her dad found her somewhere else to live. The Club feels so temporary.
Heather says they will reach out to Daniel once they settle in.
They’ve both missed being there and Lucy has really missed her father.
They get a table and talk about how nice it is to be home.
Heather calls Daniel to ask if he’s found them a place to stay.
Sally joins Chloe at Crimson Lights and is happy to see her looking so chipper.
The Spectra tells her she’s on her way to see her new client: Daniel.
She’s sure he will want something interesting and comfortable. It’s great to have something to look forward to again.
Chloe assumes that he good cheer is because she’s back with Nick.
Sally says things are fine professionally but not personally. She’s tired of wrapping herself in comfort when it’s just a straightjacket.
She’s been slinking around crying into her pillow and not enjoying her own company.
Chloe hasn’t been complaining about it. Sally knows. That’s what makes her such a good friend.
It’s time for her to embrace her new career and finish all the sadness. It’s time to get her spark back.
They giggle about that.
Chloe is thrilled about her plans for her life as long as they don’t include Adam.
Before Chloe can open up about her problems, Daniel wanders in to join them.
Chloe is happy to see him again. He has to walk off and take a call.
Sally asks Chloe to come with her to Daniel’s to talk design.

Daniel brings Chloe and Sally to his new place.
They talk about what kind of living space he wants.
He wants a home that feels like the person living there appreciates art and tech. Sounds perfect to Sally.
Lucy shows up. He’s thrilled. Heather files in after her, kissing his cheek.
They tease him about his new place and he tells his daughter she has her own room. She loves it.
Once the designers are done, they leave.
Daniel is amazed his ex and daughter are back. He says he found them a place nearby that’s available in a month and a half.
He promises his daughter she’s welcome to stay with him for as long as she wants.
She hugs him.
Lily joins them, surprised to see Heather and Lucy back in town.
Chloe and Sally go to Crimson Lights. The redhead tells her how much she missed working with her.
When she asks how things are going at Marchetti, Chloe admits that going back was a terrible mistake.
Devon returns to Society and fills Abby in on his meeting with Lily.
They decided to listen to Mamie and Tucker and be suspicious of one of them.
He also reached out to Nate.
At Newman, Victor announces to his family that they need to know the truth. He says his mental state has been precarious and he’s been in denial.
Now the time has come to do something about it.
Nikki admits this is not what she was hoping he would say.
Adam is glad he’s seeking help. His father isn’t happy he tried tricking him into seeing a doctor.
Victor apologizes to Nick for how he’s treated him.
He announces that the top priority is protecting the company. His kids and Nate think his health should be the priority.
Nate explains he’s been calling colleagues and found a place where he can be examined. He’s already set up press cover for it.
Adam doesn’t agree with any of this. A few decades ago that might have worked but not now.
This would raise red flags and reporters would be digging.
As an alternative, he suggests they keep it in-house and bring the doctors to him.
Nate objects but Adam thinks they can easily handle this.
They ask Nikki what she thinks.
She thinks they should get a diagnosis before they make any decisions.
Victoria sides with Adam, to his shock. The more they can control this, the better.
Nate keeps pitching sending him away.
Victor guesses this would keep him sequestered for an indeterminate period of time.
What would happen to the company while he was gone?
Nate says the logical thing to happen would be for Victoria to step back in as CEO.
Victoria says this was not her idea.
Victor asks his wife if it’s time to drop the charade.
She says it’s way past time.
Leaning forward, he tells Nate he’s fired, then crosses his arms and smiles.
