Monday, Nov 6, 2023: Today on General Hospital, Esme tells Laura she’s moving out, BLQ and Chase talk Tracy, and Carly explains to Drew how she helped get him out.
Friday’s GH recap: Anna shot at Charlotte when she caught her breaking into her apartment, and Drew reunited with Carly.
Finn and Liz walk the halls on General Hospital missing maple syrup. When she says it’s been a surprisingly quiet night, he tells her not to jinx it.
She teases him about being superstitious. He tells her about having to deliver a baby in an elevator one busy night. No matter how quite the night seems, you never say it out loud.
At Kelly’s, Carly kisses Drew. She can’t believe he’s free. He has no idea how he was released from Pentonville.
Taking off his jacket, he explains that he was in solitary until Judge Kim decreed the sentence he gave him was too harsh.
She fills him in on Alexis blackmailing the judge to get him out.
He feels a debt of gratitude to everyone who helped. They kiss.
She can’t believe he’s there and tells him how sorry she is. He tells her it’s all over…accept for six months probation.
That outrages her but he assures her will be fine.
She gives him a milkshake and they talk about how much he misses Scout. He promises her a night out.
As she gets her coat, he stands but has a pain in his guts.
Chase returns home with treats. BLQ is there and she says all the trick and treating is done for the night.
He’s upset when she says she was giving away granola bars while he was out. He wants their apartment to be a primo destination not a candy desert.
They joke about Tracy. She admits she finally had things out with her grannie.
She’s sure her grannie is concerned about her future and she gets that but the future she wants is on music.
He tells her not to walk away from her dreams. They both know she has what it takes to make it.
She just feels terrible about Tracy hijacking Deception.
He urges her to sign it over to Lucy, Maxie and Sasha. She can’t imagine Tracy allowing that.
She’ll have to be a lot more devious to out-think her grandmother.
They make out.
At the penthouse, Esme and Laura are with Ace on the couch. Laura has been sitting up with him and tells her it’s a team effort.
Esme asks why she’s always so nice to her. Laura reminds her they are family.
Esme reminds her of who her parents are.
The mayor tells her what a wonderful mom she is. Seeing that makes it impossible not to love her.
Thanking her for how generous she has been, Esme says they can’t take advantage of her anymore.
After she puts her son to bed, she explains that the penthouse seems crowded and she thinks it’s time they were alone.
Laura is startled by this choice and wonders if it has something to do with Spencer.
Esme admits she’s been drawn to Spencer and developed feelings for him. That only seems natural to
Laura since he’s been playing the father role.
She asks if this is about them living together closely or if it’s something else.
Esme admits that Trina complicates things because she’s so nice. Despite their history, she’s been nice and Portia has been helpful.
She feels like a ghost. That’s part of why she’s latching onto Spencer because he’s the only thing that seems familiar.
Laura thinks she may be right to take some distance. She’s happy to hear she plans to stay in town and offers to help with the rent.
As soon as Esme walks off, Laura wonders what Spencer will think.

Anna arrives at her apartment. She hears someone inside so she pulls out her gun. When she opens the door an fires at the figure, Jake runs down the hall shouting for Charlotte.
Anna approaches the figure she just shot and rolls them over. It’s Charlotte.
She tries to stop the bleeding and gets Jake to call an ambulance.
They raise her legs and try talking to her.
Valentin rushes in, shocked by what he sees. They hear the ambulance arriving outside.
He leaves with his daughter in the ambulance.
When Sam and Danny get home they tell Dante that Charlotte went missing.
They sit down and Danny explains how she disappeared while they were trick or treating.
They think she might have changed her costume to the hermit from the tarot. He adds she learned all about tarot when she was at boarding school.
Valentin told them to find a way home and ran off.
They send him off to bed and then worry about Valentin running off.
Dante gets a call about a shooting at Maxie’s old apartment.
After he takes off, Danny comes down and his mom asks him about what’s been going on with Charlotte. He worries someone could have grabbed her.
His mom admits she’s worried about her too but they need to try being positive. Maybe it was all a prank gone wrong?
When he beats himself up for failing Charlotte, she says he reminds her of his dad. He can’t take responsibility for the world’s problems.
Dante arrives at Anna’s and takes in the scene.
She breaks into tears as she explains what happened.
He calls CSI and orders Charlotte’s bag bagged as evidence. Anna has to hand him her gun.
The cop calls Sam and tells her that anna shot Charlotte.
Charlotte is rushed into General Hospital.
Jake arrives and asks his mom if Charlotte will be okay. Dante tells the nurse her son was a hero.
Jake asks if it was all an accident.
Finn finds Anna and she asks if Charlotte has been stabilized.
When Charlotte is rushed past Valentin to surgery, he shouts that he will be there for her.
When he turns, Anna approaches him.
“Why, Anna? Why?” he asks.
She tries to explain but he can’t listen. Dante leads her away for a statement.
When Jake comes over to apologize, Valentin assures him this wasn’t his fault.
