In this episode of CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Kyle tells Summer about their honeymoon plans, Adam tries to get the truth about Sally out of Nick, and Sally tells Chloe she’s sleeping with Nick. In the previous episode, Diane surprised Jack with a kiss, Chelsea made a reveal to Adam, and Victoria unleashed her fury on Billy.

In Victoria’s office, Adam and Nick argue about Sally.
Nick says his ex can do whatever she wants and accuses him of letting his imagination run wild.
Adam accuses him of sleeping with her. His brother tells him jealousy isn’t a good look.
Adam points out he’s just a rebound guy and Sally is using him to get back at him.
Nick advises him to let this go and just be happy at Jabot. Dismissing his brother, Adam laughs and says he’s just getting started.
As Nick gets sarcastic, his brother accuses him of taking full advantage of his situation, assuming a major position in the company and sleeping with Sally.
“Not everything is about you,” Nick says. His brother doesn’t think this is a coincidence.
As they continue to argue, Victoria walks in and asks what’s going on.
Adam tells his sister about how much Nick has been seeing Sally and exits. Victoria asks her brother if he cares to elaborate.
Nick claims this is no one’s business but she disagrees. He’s become a much strong advocate for Sally than she expected.
Adam clearly isn’t happy about whatever is going on between his brother and Sally. He will lash out and that could be bad.
Nick insists he can handle Adam. She’s just as worried about how Victor and Summer will react.
Drinking, Nick says it’s his life. His sister won’t push. She’s tired and wants the day to be over.
On her way out, she advises him to think very carefully about what he’s doing and how it could affect the company and the family.
Chloe and Sally get coffee at Crimson Lights. Sally thanks her for all her hard work. They are eager to keep up their working momentum.
Chloe asks about her meeting with Nick and the direction they are taking.
Sally claims he gave her some helpful pointers and it went better than expected. Her friend is happy to hear that and tells her she only wants what’s best for them and Newman Media.
She’s determined not to let Sally screw anything up. It’s good Nick can’t seem to get enough of her.
Sally gets uncomfortable and explains this is between her and Nick have taken a personal term.
Chloe asks how intimate it has gotten.
“Very,” says Sally.
Chloe explains it away as a mistake, but it has happened numerous times. She needs to process this.
She doesn’t take it well when Sally says it was “mind-blowing” and Nick is so funny and honest and respectful. It makes her genuinely happy to be with him.
Her COO knows he’s a good guy but getting involved with her boss and her ex’s brother is…
As much as she wants her to move on, she senses she’s not totally over Adam. It will take her a while to get him out of her system and overlap is messy.
Does Adam know about this? Sally is sure he suspects.
This worries her friend, who is sure that her ex will hound her and not handle this gracefully.
Sally says they “are not a thing” and wants to drop this. Chloe asks her what her heart feels. As confusing as her feelings are, Sally can’t go back to Adam.
Actually, Chloe was asking about Nick. Sally insists it’s no big deal. They can just call things off if it doesn’t work.
“I am not going to get my heartbroken,” Sally insists. Her friend points out that’s not guaranteed.
Sally needs time to figure things out. Adam shows up.
Chloe tries to usher her friend out. Sally says Adam can stay. He asks her to be honest with him.
Taking a deep breath, she admits something has happened between her and Nick. She doesn’t owe him an explanation and storms out.
Adam is sure that was “cleansing” for Chloe to watch. She tells him he did this to himself. He’s driven Sally to something better.
Sally goes back to her suite. Nick shows up. They make out.

Kyle meets Summer at the door of the Abbott estate, and she starts talking about her day. He stops to say she’s needed in the bedroom and leads her away.
When they get upstairs, he puts a straw hat on her head. She promises to wear it, even if it will attract strange looks in autumn.
Summer assumes the hat is just a clue. He tells her they are going to Costa Rica for their honeymoon and the hat will fit in.
She’s thrilled to be getting an actual honeymoon.
Kyle tells her that it won’t just be blue skies, water, sunshine, and food in their private villa. She reminds him that they have a company to run.
He’s sure their executives can look after things. They have sex and then head downstairs to sit on the couch. Harrison interrupts.
He was having a good dream and couldn’t get back to sleep. He can’t wait for tomorrow.
Summer tells him how great tomorrow will be. His parents agree. They have a group hug.
At their penthouse, Nate finds Elena packing a bag.
She still thinks they need to spend some time apart. It’s for the best and she’s already booked a room.
He’s surprised she thinks moving out is a solution to their conflict. Considering how she feels, she can’t stay there.
It hurts him that she can’t see things from his perspective.
Elena can see who he is becoming. He no longer cares about people and is blinded by greed and ambition. The only thing he values is power and recognition.
Nate insists he doesn’t value power over the people in his life. Hearing her talk like this is killing him.
All he wants is some love and support, but it seems like that is too much to ask.
After talking this out, he agrees that their separation is for the best.
Once she raises her bag, he tells her this isn’t forever. Walking to the door, she tells him she loves him and leaves.
Alone, Nate pours himself a drink and shuffles around, sighing.
Elena checks into a suite at the Phoenix. She sits on the bed and sobs.
Nate goes to Society for another drink. Victoria finds him at the bar and senses he’s not having a good night either.
She wonders if he’s changing his mind about their arrangement.
“Our arrangement stands,” he assures her, explaining it has created some conflict with Elena. She’s surprised he told her about his plans in the first place.
Victoria tells him people will always take issue with the bold. What they do is as important and valid as what anyone else does. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.
She tells him not to justify his choices and stick with his convictions.
