General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 28, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Joss tells Dante what she heard in the alley, Cody asks Maxie about Mac possibly being his father, and Curtis and Taggert agree to look after Trina together.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Portia was furious with Jordan and suspicious Sonny took Dex for a ride after he was questioned by the cops.
Portia storms into Jordan’s office and accuses her of insinuating herself into Curtis’ life and making him doubt her. Jordan thinks she’s inspiring those doubts on her own.
The doctor asks her to say what she’s thinking.
“Is Curtis Trina’s father?” Jordan asks. Portia tells her this is none of her business. Jordan thinks Curtis and Trina deserve the truth.
The doctor accuses her of wanting her ex-husband back.
They rehash the mess with the divorce papers and then Jordan points out that Portia has not denied that Curtis is her daughter’s father.
Portia declares she doesn’t owe her an answer. The cop knows she’s been looking into genetic counseling and guesses she’s worried Trina may have inherited schizophrenia.
Jordan tells her she can’t marry Curtis with this hanging over her. “Is that a threat?” the doctor asks. Is she going to Curtis with her suspicions.
In the interrogation room, Dante is organizing files when Joss arrives. She has some evidence to share. She explains that she was in the alley ahead of Brando. They both have links to Sonny.
Joss tells him she heard a jingling sound when she went through the alley. Dex wasn’t visible.
Dante thinks the jingling she heard could have been Dex’s dog tags. She flashes back to seeing him wear them.
When she tells him Dex was wearing a white t-shirt, he opens up a file and looks at it.
At Maxie’s, she apologizes to Austin about their change of plans. They have the place to themselves once the kids go to sleep. Spinelli watches them kiss and looks worried.
After he coughs, he exits, bumping into Cody in the hall. He’s there to see Maxie. Spinelli tells him he shall not pass.
Cody reminds him that he has dirt on him, and he should stay out of his way.
Cody interrupts Austin and Maxie. He calls her “sis” and she hopes that everything is out in the open now. He assumes she really thinks Mac is his dad.
She tells him what she knows about Mac and Dominique and says he would be lucky to have him as a dad.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
At General Hospital, Curtis finds Ava exhausting herself by trying to walk in the hall. He helps her sit down and tells her about Diane’s attack.
Trina shows up to see Ava. Curtis worries that she’s been walking around alone while a killer in on the loose. Her father pops up. He’s been with her the whole time.
As Trina helps Ava back to her room, Curtis apologizes to Taggert if he overstepped. Taggert thinks it’s too bad Curtis had no children.
They chat about the attacks. Taggert wants his daughter to leave town for a while, but she refuses. They decide to keep an eye on her together.
Trina gets Ava back to her room and tells her that Spencer told Cam the truth about his plan months ago and made him keep it secret. It bothered her that he kept the secret. But he’s apologized and they are good.
She wishes she’d told Ava about this sooner and then complains about Curtis being protective. She likes him but he treats her like she’s 12.
Trina returns to Curtis and her father. Curtis tells her he’ll see her at home tonight, and she walks off with Taggert.
Curtis goes to see Ava. He says that if she wants to help keep Trina safe, she will fire her. Ava can’t do that.
He thinks she should be staying as far away from her as possible as long as her attacker is still out there. She agrees to it.
After he leaves, she calls Trina back and informs her she can’t be her boss any longer.
Michael and Sam discuss how her mom is dealing with Diane’s attack. She explains Dex was with her at the time and was found with her blood on his hands.
They try to figure out what happened. She assumes he’ll be questioned.
Michael makes calls, trying to track down Dex, and then exits as Spinelli arrives.
Sitting down, Spinelli talks to Sam about watching Star Wars with his daughter. She tells him what a good dad he is and asks how things are going between Austin and Georgie.
He admits that his daughter still doesn’t care for the doctor. With a little prodding, he also admits his feelings for Maxie have returned.
But Maxie seems happy with Austin so he is trying to move on. He fears that Maxie is still the one.
As they talk about Society Set-Ups, he defends the company until he admits that he’s the matchmaker behind it. If anyone finds out, he’ll end up in federal prison.
Dex is bound in the fish fillet locker. Sonny walks in and bellows that he hasn’t taken him seriously and that was a huge mistake.
One of Sonny’s goons pounds on Dex for a while. Dex claims he’s already told him everything. Sonny has been trying to give him the benefit of a doubt, but…
He demands to know why Dex started working for him. Dex claims it’s just because he admires him and wants to learn from him.
“So you can use it against me?” Sonny barks, questioning him about why he’s been at all the attacks.
Dex keeps claiming he’s innocent. His boss tells him he’s bringing someone in who will get the information he needs out of him.
Carver arrives. He’s a torturer for the Wu family. Sonny gets called away to deal with something and leaves them to it.
Carver sharpens his blades. Dex keeps insisting he’s innocent.
Michael is waiting for Sonny in the other room. He demands to know what he knows about the attacks.
Sonny says his people are looking into it. Michael assumes he’s picked up Dex, thinks he’s guilty, and wants to deal with him himself.
Sonny reminds him he didn’t want him in his life so he should stay away. Michael points out he’s the common denominator in the attacks on the people he cares about.
“What is Dex to you?” Sonny asks.
