Mon Dec 18: Today on Young and Restless, Tucker tells Audra what she means to him, Kyle tells Diane what he’s learned from Tucker, and Nikki sees Jordan.
Friday’s recap: After Calling a Truce with the Abbotts, Tucker Tells Audra and Kyle His Scheme, and Chance Asks Summer to a Concert

Audra sits with Tucker in the GCAC bar.
She tells him she underestimated Kyle.
He jokes that’s not possible.
She claims Kyle can see right through him and suspects that he’s setting him up to take the fall. Is that true?
He doesn’t see why she cares but admits that nothing he told Kyle has true.
McCall reminds her the goal is them on top. She doesn’t think Kyle will go through with what he has planned.
Tucker suggests she can’t make her mind up about Kyle and what he’s actually capable of. He thinks she’s letting the kid get under her skin.
Audra suspects he’s going to use Kyle and toss him away. Does he have the same fate planned for her?
Tucker tells her she can’t trust an Abbott. Kyle’s future is with his family. Her future is with him.
He tells her that he’s sorry if she’s never felt like he needs and values her. She thinks that’s meaningless.
Explaining that he trusts no one other than her, she makes things fun. He loves the way her eyes light up and the way her mind works.
These weren’t things he thought he needed to say. He thought there was an unspoken language because of the depth of what they have.
She’s confused when he claims he’s doing all this for her. Jabot is a jewel he is saving for her.
Audra reminds her that he’s going after it for revenge and all this language to snow her only makes her doubt him more.
She’s insulted by these manipulations. He says there is a whole list of things he wants to do but insulting her isn’t on it.
Taking her hand, he tells her she’s one of the few people he admires. She could slap him.
A text comes in. He lets out a laugh and then calls for champagne for everyone.
The paperwork went through and he owns Glacade. They toast to it.
Kyle meets with his mother at Society and tells her that he’s learned more about Tucker’s plan.
McCall still hasn’t decided who he wants to take the fall: Billy or her.
He fills her in on Tucker’s plan to rip off a perfume and then plant evidence to expose her or his uncle. Kyle suspects Tucker will actually pin it on him.
Diane says McCall is a creep and they need to tell Jack everything.
They go over the next steps and how Tucker won’t stand a chance.
At the Abbott estate, Jack chats with Billy. His brother gets serious and announces that he’s leaving Jabot.
Jack reminds him he’s fought for his position and won’t let him go unless he has a damn good reason.
Billy thinks he’s just been keeping him around so he won’t spiral out of control. He’s realized that being at Jabot is not good for him.
It’s all too much like a gambler’s high.
His brother can understand, but how will going to Chancellor-Winters change things?
“You,” Billy explains. He always wants to be a winner like his brother but always had the nagging feeling he couldn’t live up to his standard.
He wanted to take down Tucker because he wanted to prove he could top him.
Working with his mother won’t be the same rush. He’ll get to be the Jack to the young upstarts.
His brother is surprised he sees their relationship this way.
Billy says they’ve had good days but he’ll never go up. He needs some space and freedom to grow.
He recognizes that his brother has to limit him and he can’t compete with that. His brain can’t handle that.
Billy has been the screw-up in the family and bounced around before crawling back.
It’s not fair to either of them. Maybe this time at Chancellor, things will work out.
Jack thinks he might just be running away.
Billy assures him he’s not blaming him and he’s not the problem. He’s walking away because he’s okay.
Making a rational decision feels great. He’s got a job, an amazing woman, and his kids’ respect. He doesn’t want to lose any of it.
Billy likes the man he is.
Jack loves him and will miss him.
His brother asks if he can make Kyle keep the celebration of his departure at a minimum. When that makes Jack sigh, Billy wonders what it means.
Diane and Kyle arrive and wonder what’s going on.
Billy leaves his brother to fill them in.
Jack announces that his brother is leaving the company and he’s to blame. He fills them in on why.
It all makes sense to Kyle, who admits he’s felt similar things.
When he tries taking this as an opportunity, Jack asks to speak to Diane alone.
Diane tells Jack that Kyle should get his position back now.
Her husband isn’t sure that’s the right thing to do.

Victoria arrives at the ranch. Nikki closes up her purse as Cole and her daughter enter.
They are trying not to think too hard ahead on the Claire situation but they should have some results today.
Michael arrives, fresh from a plane to Oregon, and has some news.
He’s asked Claire to plead insanity and they will send her to the local psych ward. Nikki worries that could make things worse.
Victoria thinks it would be best to have her close by and assures her mom that Victor will protect her if Jordan comes back.
Victor pops up and says that something fishy is going on with Jordan leaving her stuff to be found.
Michael has to leave to take a call.
Victor sits with Nikki and asks what’s wrong, noticing tremors in her hands.
Victoria notices Cole smiling at her and wonders why. He says some things never change, like the way she turns into Miss Etiquette when something is bothering her.
She remembers being wild when they first met. He says she was wild but polite.
They talk about how they have grown up and changed.
Neither of them are sure what they see when they look at Claire.
Michael returns and announces that the judge agreed to remand Claire to a psychiatric hospital in Genoa City.
Nikki and Victor aren’t enthusiastic about this. Michael adds Claire is already on the way back.
Victoria thinks it’s time for the healing to begin.
Her father points out they haven’t neutralized “that Jordan woman” yet. Nikki knows that sentimentality can be powerful, but they don’t know who Claire is.
Cole gets a text and declares they are about to find out. Reading it, his eyes widen.
“She’s our daughter,” he says. Victoria’s jaw drops. Victor rubs his head.
They’re all in shock. They thank Michael for keeping her out of prison.
Victoria is eager to give her daughter some comfort. Her mother urges her not to rush this.
Cole and Victoria leave for the hospital and Michael jogs off to take care of things.
Victor hugs a shocked Nikki. She doesn’t know if her daughter can handle this.
Nikki worries that their daughter will try to look stronger than she is. He thinks they just need to protect her.
He reminds her she’s always been reasonable and loving with their daughter, but letting that Claire woman in won’t be easy.
When he gets a call from his security people, he has to step out.
She immediately whips out her flask and starts gulping.
When she turns, she sees Jordan in the window.
Cole and Victoria arrive at the psychiatric hospital. He thought that Claire being their daughter was impossible.
It still doesn’t feel real to her. He can’t imagine how Claire will make sense of this.
After years of being manipulated, they are determined to protect her now.
Michael and a cop bring Claire out. She wonders why she’s there.
They want to help her get better.
Cole and Victoria admit they got her DNA at the lake house and tested it.
“You’re our daughter,” Victoria says.
