In the Wednesday, February 9, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy lectures Brooke, Taylor realizes Ridge doesn’t know everything, and Deacon refuses to tell Sheila anything.

At the Cliffhouse, Taylor tells Ridge she wishes she didn’t have to tell him about what Brooke did on New Year’s Eve. He claims he already knows what happened. She doesn’t think so.
Taylor will never understand why this keeps happening. Brooke has been keeping something from him. He repeats that he already knows.
“You’re okay with what Brooke did?” she asks. Sitting down, he explains that Brooke told him about her drinking but she will get back on the wagon. Taylor had no idea about the drinking.
This confuses him. “That might explain what happened,” she adds. He continues to ramble about the drinking and how they will figure things out because they always do.
Taylor knows they always get past what Brooke does to him, but she assumes there must be a limit. His commitment is misplaced. It isn’t reciprocated, otherwise she wouldn’t keep turning to other men, like Bill Spencer.
“You deserve to be loved,” Taylor tells him. She doesn’t think Brooke is capable of respecting him because she has an insatiable need to be wanted by other men.
He doesn’t want to hear this. Taylor finally snaps and explains that Brooke was not alone when she was drinking. Deacon was there. He went back after everyone else left and Brooke betrayed her vows with him.
At Brooke’s, she tells Steffy she’s never given up hoping that she would come around to her being in Ridge’s life. Actually, Steffy has never given up hoping she would learn from her past.
The blonde wants her gone before this escalates. “Do you really think I don’t have a right to question your commitment to my father?” Steffy asks.
Brooke knows she will never give up on her dream of getting her parents back together, but Ridge has made his choice. Steffy isn’t confident she’s put her mistakes behind her.
They argue about Deacon. Steffy doesn’t see how she can embrace and accept him, even for Hope’s sake and rubs what she did to Bridget in her face. Ridge must be a saint for putting up with her past. “Hmm? Hmm, hmm, hmm,” Steffy adds.
Brooke doesn’t want to hear her “spewing” any more. Steffy tells her she’s going to get what’s coming to her.

Deacon paces at Sheila’s until she suggests he’s going to wear a hole in the carpet. She asks if he’s said more than he intended to when he remarked, “If Ridge only knew…”
She has a sixth sense about the slips people make. You don’t need to be a psychic to know more happened between him and Brooke than throwing back a few shots.
He accuses her of fishing but she insists he can confide in him. She’s the last person Deacon would confine in given her history with Brooke. He won’t let her cause problems for Brooke and stomps out.
Sheila laughs to herself, determined to find out everything so she can bury Brooke once and for all.
Liam heads to the cabin where Hope is worried about her mom. He tries making guesses about what will happen but this fails. She explains that her mom has been keeping a secret and it’s eating her alive. That’s why she’s decided to tell Ridge everything. Liam stands there with his mouth open.
Hope worries that her mom will lose everything. Liam recognizes the truth would at least test her marriage. With Taylor back in town, Hope worries, any test could be made worse. She just hopes that stupid Forrester-Logan rivalry doesn’t start up again. “I can’t imagine Steffy wants that either,” she says.
Liam hopes this doesn’t “turn into a thing” but they just need to be there for her mom.
That’s what Hope is trying to do. Ridge should be able to get past this in time. Liam says none of this would have happened if Deacon hadn’t left his phone behind.
As Liam recounts what happened that night, Deacon strolls in and adds that he was fully clothed and slept on the sheets. Hope tells her father that Brooke can’t hold in her secret any longer when she’s trying to keep a hold of her sobriety.
“Mom is going to tell Ridge everything that happened between you two that night,” she informs him.
