In the Tuesday, February 1, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy thinks Brooke’s secret could change everything, while Deacon and Ridge get into an argument and Grace goes off the rails at Carter. We also have Monday’s B&B recap where Steffy learned that Brooke was kissing Deacon.
At the cliffhouse, Steffy’s shocked to hear that Douglas saw Deacon kissing Brooke. She knows the kid has a vivid imagination. Thomas knows but this is different. Steffy needs to hear everything that Douglas told him, citing that this could change everything.
Brooke thinks if Douglas tells Thomas, he’ll blurt it out to Steffy and it’ll be the end of her marriage. Thomas talks about how it happened New Year’s Eve and how Douglas came to see everything.
“Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow,” Steffy says, trying to wrap her head around it. Brooke turned to Deacon. She wonders what she was thinking. Thomas says that Brooke asked him to keep it quiet and Steffy scoffs that it’s what the Logans do. “Thomas do you know what this could mean for Mom and Dad?” She asks.
Neither like to see their dad being played for a fool. It sounds like their connection has been reignited. Steffy asks if it’s possible Douglas was wrong. Thomas says it’s possible. If it’s true, Dad will end their marriage. “Maybe this is true destiny at work,” Steffy says. Her parents could finally reunite.
At the cabin, Hope assures Brooke it will be okay but Brooke knows secrets have a way of coming out. He’s worried about Deacon spilling the news. Hope insists he promised not to. Brooke’s angry that if she hadn’t drank, she never would have kissed Deacon. She calls her secret ‘explosive’.
At Il Giardino, Deacon knows Ridge thinks he’s so much better than him. He’s just so sure that Brooke wouldn’t want anything to do with him. Ridge thinks Brooke tolerates him. Anything else and Deacon’s delusional.
“If only you knew,” Deacon bites out. “If only.” Ridge questions him and Deacon refuses to elucidate. Ridge doesn’t buy that he’s a changed man. “You come to town and people get hurt.” That’s who Deacon is, Ridge says and he won’t let that happen.
Deacon wants to protect Brooke, too. Deacon calls Ridge a bully. He’s dealt with them his whole life. Ridge smirks. “What are we twelve?” He asks what Deacon’s protecting his wife about. Ridge thinks Deacon should just take off and Deacon counters that he doesn’t know much.

Katie talks about the design school panel who wants to talk to Zende about his process. He’s distracted. Paris strolls in, sorry to interrupt. Katie thinks Paris is why he’s distracted.
Paris wanted to discuss something with Katie but it’s not pressing. She wishes Zende luck with the design panel and goes, leaving Zende to open up to Katie about Paris. He reveals that he loves Paris but agreed to keep their relationship casual.
Katie thinks he regrets it. Katie wonders if there’s another guy who caught Paris’ eye. She says this as Paris walks in.
In the design office, Grace snipes at Carter that Zende was all ready to propose until now. She asks how long Carter has had his eye on Paris. He doesn’t know.
She informs him that Paris deserves the very best and that Zende’s the man for her daughter, not Carter. Carter can see she thinks a lot of him and says Zende’s a friend. Grace yells at him that she saw Carter kissing his daughter. “You saw us?”
She asks where his morals are to go behind his friend’s back like this. Carter says it’s not what she’s making it out to be. Grace snaps. “I will not let this go on.” She knows about how he hurt Zoe. Carter regrets that.
Grace asks if he regrets sleeping around with Quinn as well. She thinks he appears not to be trustworthy, nor is he worthy of Paris. She hates to be blunt but his actions left her no choice. She’ll do what it takes to protect her kids. Carter crossed a line.
Carter defends himself about Zoe though he hates that he hurt her, and complicated Quinn’s life, but he’s working on making things right. Grace gives him an ultimatum. Dump Paris or she’ll tell the Forresters what he’s up to. This time, they won’t forgive him. She asks if she’s clear.
