In the Thursday, April 28, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke asks Ridge to come home again, Taylor tells Hope that Steffy will need Liam, and Sheila vows to end things before it’s too late for her.
We also have Wednesday’s B&B recap where Brooke begged Ridge to come home while Sheila considered giving Steffy an overdose.
Sheila stands over Steffy in her hospital bed and worries about how long it will be until she remembers the night she was shot. She doesn’t want to kill her, but sees no other way out. With Steffy’s past of drug abuse, she’s sure it will just look like an overdose.
In the waiting room, Liam rubs his neck and tells Hope he wants to be there for Steffy and her kids.
She understands. They’ve all been operating on the assumption the kids could have lost their mother… but they didn’t.
Taylor joins them and they talk about how much her daughter has to face. Liam decides he needs to check on Steffy and walks away.
Liam walks in on Sheila as she is about to start tampering with Steffy’s medication. She claims she was just checking on her. He reminds her she’s not Steffy’s nurse and she’s not involved in her treatment.
Sheila says she’s invested in Steffy’s recovery. They bicker about this and she tells him he has no idea what this is doing to her. Steffy groans and wakes up.
Liam rubs her shoulder and apologizes for waking her.
“You again?” Steffy says as she spots Sheila. She says they are both grieving for Finn but that doesn’t make them friends. Sheila says that if she’d let her be a friend, this could have all been different.
Liam stops the “what if” game. Sheila decides to leave them alone but promises she will be back. As she walks out, she grumbles to herself that she needs to put an end to this and Steffy can never remember what really happened.
Steffy is surprised when Liam tells her that Sheila has been around the whole time she’s been there. She feels bad for blocking out her memories of Finn.
He says it’s a miracle she recalls anything. She just wants to go home and be with her babies. How will she explain this to them?

Meanwhile, Taylor asks Hope how she is. She’s trying to stay positive and supportive. The doctor thinks it’s amazing that a crisis like this can bring people together. Steffy will need a lot of support from people she trusts…like Liam.
It will take time for Steffy to move forward. Hope adds they need to be realistic about this.
Brooke tells Ridge that what happened to Steffy was tragic. She will need lots of support and she wants to be there to help. Touching him, Brooke adds she doesn’t want to spend another night without him.
As long as Steffy is there, this is where Ridge needs to be. When she goes home, she will need all his attention. Brooke says they can all be there… but they have been apart too long and she needs him to come home.
“Please don’t go back to Steffy’s with Taylor,” she begs. They discuss how terrible it is that Finn can never come home to his wife. Brooke adds that Ridge can. He asks her to stop this but she says life is too short and precious.
He says he support means a lot. Brooke wants to be by his side more than ever. Ridge misses her too and promises they will have this conversation, but not now.
They join Taylor and Hope. Brooke and Hope exchange gaping looks as Taylor goes on about how important it is that Liam is there for her daughter. After the doctor takes off, the Logan ladies wonder if Taylor wants Liam and Steffy back together.
Hope doesn’t want to believe that and Taylor is just being helpful. Brooke does not trust her. She’s sure she will want Steffy and Liam to reunite. This isn’t helping so Hope walks off.
When Hope gets to the door of Steffy’s room, she eavesdrops as Liam assures Hope she doesn’t have to go through any of this alone. Hayes is part of their family. It may be impossible to imagine a life without Finn, but she’s a survivor and has so many people to count on, including him.
Steffy worries Hope could get in the way but he assures her she doesn’t need to worry. He won’t let her go through this alone. They hold hands. Hope watches and sighs.
Taylor wanders down the hall and finds Sheila looking a bit distraught. She asks if there is anything she can do and realizes this must all be torture for her. “It keeps getting worse and worse,” Sheila says.
Taylor assures her the truth will come out.
