Friday, Dec 15: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Finn and Bridget race to save Eric’s life; Ridge struggles with his choice as Eric takes a turn for the worse.
Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Ridge Relents and Allows Finn to Operate on Eric, but Something Goes Wrong as the Procedure Ends
In the hospital OR during surgery, Bridget tells Finn something is wrong.
Finn says he’s hemorrhaging.
He tells the anesthesiologist to increase TXA to 500 milligrams.
Bridget says it’s not working and Finn tells her he’s trying to find the source.
He asks the anesthesiologist to use 10 mg of ephedrine.
Bridget tells her dad to keep fighting.
A nurse says, “Patient is hypoxic and tachycardia.” Finn urges Eric to fight.
“We cannot lose my father,” Bridget says as the tempo of the music gets faster.
She repeats she can’t lose Eric. His numbers are too low.
She asks for a clamp and the music reaches a pinnacle. 
In the waiting room, Ridge paces.
He has second thoughts about the surgery since his father made his peace.
Brooke tells him that this was a big decision.
Thorne says he would have done anything to attempt to save him.
Ridge says, “Maybe we should have just let him go.”
Steffy defends Ridge’s decision and Thorne says he’s not ready to say goodbye.
Brooke asks them to stay positive but Thorne points out that extra support is racing for the ER.
Ridge stops a nurse and questions her. She says there’s been an issue and someone will update them soon.
Ridge is angry that his father is struggling. “Is this what you wanted?” He asks Thorne.

In Eric’s office, Luna is down on herself.
She made him something but isn’t sure the timing is right.
He urges her to show him what she made already.
It’s a photo of him and his granddad. He loves it.
She took it while they were working and didn’t know how special it would be.
He’s grateful she seems to know what he needs. He’s glad he got this time with him, helping with the collection.
He thanks her once again and they talk about making one for Eric for when he gets out of the hospital.
They remember how fun it was working on the collection.
Her favorite part was getting to see RJ rise to the challenge.
He tried, he says. It helped him find his calling.
He didn’t feel he belonged there before. Luna says she doesn’t want to jeopardize her future at Forrester.
He doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She reveals she always wants his kisses when she looks at him.
She’s never had a serious boyfriend. RJ reveals this is new to him, too and he loves her.
Luna says, “Ditto!” RJ says, “DItto?”
She laughs and says this is new for her.
She’s embarrassed and admits when she saw him, she lost her breath.
She’s still breathless around him. They make out.
Back in the OR, they find the bleed and clamp it, then sit back and wait.
Bridget thinks they got it.
He tells her it was a nice job.
She did it. He’ll get him sewn up and update the family.
Bridget thanks him. Finn says the rest is up to Eric.
They continue to sew him up and Finn says they can’t give the family guarantees.
She knows but is grateful he got a chance. They thank the room.
Finn appears with Bridget and tells the family Eric survived the surgery.
Finn credits Bridget while she does the same for him.
Everyone is happy.
Finn tells them it’s just a waiting game now.
Ridge grumps. “Is that it? We wait?” They send him light and love.
Eric lies in his hospital bed in the ICU and flashes back to his life.
He hears Bridget telling him to fight.
He sees Stephanie tell him that everyone’s been praying for him and it’s going to be alright.
He flashes to dancing with Stephanie.
Later, the universe is seen and Stephanie says, “Oh my God you’re here. You’re home, you’re safe. You’re home.”
White light appears and it looks as though Eric dies.
