Thursday, Nov 23, 2023: Today on General Hospital, the Quartermaine’s celebrate Thanksgiving with Lois’ mother, the Davis family gets together with Jordan and Blaze, while Valentin confronts Charlotte.
Wednesday’s GH recap: After a Fight With Valentin, Anna IDs a Suspected Murder Victim as her Stalker and Martin Agrees to Defend Finn
At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois encourages Olivia to celebrate Thanksgiving since they’ve so much to celebrate. Lois has it all planned.
When Lois’s mother, Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) arrives, the women scream with glee and there are hugs all around.
At their apartment, Brook Lynn searches for her purse as she tells Chase her mother’s planning something for Thanksgiving.
She knows there’s a lot to be thankful for like Blaze in the recording studio, making up with Maxie and her dad’s back to normal.
Her grandma is in Europe so things are quieter at home.
He comments that she called the Q mansion home which makes him insecure.
She tells him her heart is at their place with him. He’s glad.
They decide to make the most of their time.
Alexis, Sam and Kristina are at her place on Thanksgiving.
Alexis is glad to have her girls around today.
Sam says Dante and the boys will join them for dessert after a football game.
Jordan, Molly and TJ arrive with wine and Molly thinks they should focus on what they do have, not the recent loss.
There are smiles all around and they toast each other with the wine.
Kristina calls Blaze and invites her over.
While everyone talks about Jordan’s job, Kristina and Sam talk about Molly’s coping mechanism, talking about anything but her loss.
Blaze turns up with flowers and the women smile at one another.
Blaze is glad to be saved from listening to true crime podcasts today.
Alexis welcomes her and they all discuss the recording in the studio.
TJ’s leaning toward neurology he says when Alexis questions him.
Outside, Molly and Sam snuggle.
When TJ appears, Sam makes herself scarce and goes to Kristina and tells her she’s proud of her.
Kristina’s shocked. “My biggest critic?”
Sam calls her a visionary. They embrace.
Alexis appears and is grateful for everyone.
That’s all she wants to say before they dine.
They drink to the Davis family.
Laura and Valentin escort Charlotte home.
She takes off into her room while Laura asks what Valentin plans to do about her.
He doesn’t know. Frustrated, he’s not sure what to do, ask her why she’s terrorizing Anna?
Laura reminds him that this is on Victor and they need to have a difficult conversation with her.
Charlotte overhears and questions them. Laura asks her to tell her dad what she told her in the hospital and Charlotte claims she doesn’t recall but knows Anna shot her on purpose. Valentin knows what she’s been up to.
He tells her about finding the spray paint in her bag and she claims it was for street art, knowing it was wrong.
He calls it illegal. Also, Victor lied about Anna. She believes otherwise but Valentin says she was manipulated.
They talk about the fire. She maintains she didn’t set it and asks how he could think she did. She runs off and Laura asks him to let her go.
He bemoans his father pulling her strings from the grave. Laura has a lot to do so Valentin thanks her and she takes off.
Robert stops by Anna’s room at Metro Court, banging on the door and telling her to open up.
She gets out of bed and lets him in but tells him she’s wallowing today.
He tells her to shake it off but she has Charlotte on her mind.
Forsythe is dead and every reference is gone. He thinks she looks pathetic and tells her to get ready.
She agrees to dress but when she returns, he’s out.
He smiles. He’ll take his chances.
He picks up the room phone and says, “Already? Yeah, we’re in the room.”
He disconnects looking chipper. Anna returns looking lovely.
He tells her so and she says, “A roundhouse kick to your fat head would be even better.”
Someone arrives and Anna opens the door, exasperated until she sees who it is — Emma!
She hugs Emma and exclaims. She says her parents aren’t there but she’s glad to be with her two favorite grandparents.
They call Noah later and think that he looks like his dad.
They head to Thanksgiving dinner including extra cranberry sauce.
They embrace and the kid brings up the shooting and how she felt bad for both of them.
It’s awkward and she asks if Anna will see them today. She disappears for a moment while the grown ups discuss how Anna won’t be seeing Valentin.
When she returns, Emma talks about the particle astrophysics center at Berkley running experiments on dark matter and cosmic rays.
Anna’s lost. They laugh and Emma says she couldn’t pass this internship up as her gap year.
Her colleagues can’t believe she has ‘action grandparents’ like them.
In the barn, Leo and Ned call Ferdinand the alpaca unique and Leo wonders how he feels about being the lone alpaca in a sea of horses.
They talk about how when Ned was Eddie, he lived for rock-n-roll.
Granny said he was an adolescent.
Ned thinks sometimes people need a break from the pressure of life.
He’s grateful to be himself. Cody appears and asks how the alpaca is.
Leo thinks that Ferdinand would rather be modeling like him and his girlfriend.
Yuri takes in Gloria’s bags while Ned appears and greets Gloria. How did she get there?
She took the bus and loves to since she meets so many people with interesting stories.
Olivia’s mood is no longer sour.
BLQ and Chase arrive, surprised to see Gloria. BLQ hugs her and she says to Chase, “You must be the hunk.”
Gloria’s ready to prepare the feast with Lois.
BLQ tells her gran that the Q Thanksgiving always ends in disaster but Gloria doubts that’ll happen.
Cody and Leo appear and see Sasha.
Leo makes a crack again about her being his girlfriend.
Ned and Olivia talk about ELQ and how he feels he’s playing catch-up.
He decides to focus on her and the family. Leo rushes up to talk about the alpaca and nearby, Cody and Sasha laugh about Leo calling her his girlfriend.
He doesn’t want it to be awkward. Ned starts to smell Thanksgiving dinner.
He hasn’t smelled that since the 90s. Everyone tells him not to jinx it. In the kitchen, Yuri calls Terry to wish her a happy Thanksgiving.
Gloria brings up watching Sasha on Hearth and Home and that stunt with the baby was wild.
BLQ saves the conversation by talking about Cody almost streaking to stop it. Leo questions that and they try to change the topic. Yuri appears.
He’s finished cutting the onions. Ned still cannot believe he smells turkey.
Leo tells Cody about last year’s live turkey.
While everyone laughs, Sasha sneaks out.
While everyone moves to the kitchen to see the turkey, Gloria looks at her phone, sadly and Cody takes off to the barn.
Once alone, Lois asks why her mom canceled on Aunt Fran. Gloria brushes her off and says to gather the troops.
She’s got a few things to tie up. She drinks a little and checks her phone.
The two pet the alpaca and discuss her loss.
She feels like moving on means she’s leaving her loved ones, Brando and Liam behind. He explains to her that they’ll always be in her heart.
Back in the house, dinner is ready and Olivia thinks they should head to the dining room.
Ned wishes for once everything went smoothly. Lois could see Edward’s face. They finally got rid of the Quartermaine curse!
BLQ freaks out that they’re tempting fate and then suddenly, the smoke alarm pierces through the air. Leo says, “Here we go again.”
