General Hospital recap for Tuesday, March 29, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Victor tells Spencer he can handle Esme, Sonny and Ava are on the warpath, and Harmony makes a confession to Alexis.
We also have Monday’s GH recap where Trina’s family was furious as she was arrested, Scott gave Nina unsolicited advice, and Harmony moved in with Alexis.
At Alexis’, she thinks back to how easily Harmony knew where the cleaning products were. Sam arrives and is confused to see that Harmony is there.
Her mom informs her that Harmony is staying there for a while.
Alexis assures her that her friend is only staying briefly. Sam isn’t going to try to change her mind but says that the grifter instinct never leaves people.
She wonders if Harmony is working her.
Alexis thanks her for understanding and assures her Kristina is okay with this. Sam leaves as Harmony returns. Alexis tells Harmony that Sam doesn’t make her decisions for her.
However, she’s noticed how well she knows her way around the house and wonders if she’s been there before…without her knowledge.
Harmony admits she has been. She came to see Kristina there once and had to help her clean up a coffee spill. Alexis will have to get confirmation with Kristina about this.
Alexis says she has to go to work and they will discuss this later. After she leaves, Harmony flashes back to entering the house and murdering Neil.
At the Metro Court, Ava and Carly talk about Avery and how quickly she’s growing up. As she brings up the video, Sonny joins them.
He tells them that Trina was just arrested for making the sex video.
The ladies think that is crazy and this must be a set-up. Sonny points out there must be some kind of evidence. Ava is determined that someone pay for this and storms out.
Sonny asks how Joss is. If he didn’t hear about this from Dante, he would have had to learn about his former stepdaughter from the press.
He tells her that Joss will always be a daughter to him and someone is using that video as a weapon against her.
In his world, when someone pulls out a knife, he pulls out a gun.
Carly tells him Joss does not want him involved and he has to stay out of this. He’s not going to stand by and let someone attack Joss.
As he walks out, Sam arrives and tells Carly that, from Sonny’s expression, it looks like someone is going to suffer.
Sam and Carly talk about the situation around Joss.
They both know nothing is going to keep Sonny out of it. As they walk, they wish Jason were there to help and then discuss the memorial that Monica is planning.
Neither of them will ever be able to say goodbye to him.
Sam says they are going to have to try to move on. If she’s finding the strength to do that, she thinks Carly should be able to do that with Sonny.

The latest GH casting news – Trina recast
At the PCPD, Jordan prepares Trina for her arraignment. Trina is adamant about pleading not guilty. Ava bursts in and declares they have the wrong person.
Jordan gives them ten minutes alone with officer Cabrera (played by Michael Blake Kruse).
Ava promises to get her out of there and clear her name.
Trina tells her about the second phone. They both assume Esme planted it. When time is up, Ava promises to move heaven and earth to get her out of there. All her friends know she is innocent.
Spencer mopes down the stairs of the penthouse and tells Laura he didn’t sleep. She imagines he’s having a hard time readjusting to the outside world. He flashes back to discovering Esme might be pregnant.
They have coffee and madeleines. His grandmother asks what’s wrong. “Did you ever do something you shouldn’t have?” he asks.
Laura could fill an encyclopedia with her mistakes. Before he can explain what happened with Esme, Victor shows up.
Victor pushes past her and welcomes Spencer home. He and Laura start talking about delays in releasing information for strategic reasons. When Spencer tries to excuse himself, his great uncle tells them he still wants to celebrate his return home.
Jordan calls Laura down to the station. Once she is gone, Victor asks his great-nephew what’s going on with Esme. Spencer says it’s over.
He can’t trust her. Victor dismisses trust as an illusion, but loyalty is priceless.
Spencer vaguely informs him of what’s happened. Victor begins probing him about what kind of hold Esme has over him. Spencer admits she might be pregnant.
His great uncle asks if he’s sure it’s his and reminds him that with their family power, they have a range of options to deal with this. He can arrange to have mother and child cared for without him being tied down.
Victor fills him in on Trina being arrested. This doesn’t make sense to Spencer, who needs a minute. After Victor exits, Spencer flashes back to fighting with Esme at the cabin.
Sonny goes to his office and calls Brick and Spinelli to co-ordinate on investigating the Joss video. Ava breezes in.
She tells him she just saw Trina and they all know that Esme is behind this. What is he going to do about it? “I’m on it,” he says.
Esme sits in Charlie’s, smiling as she reads the article about Trina being arrested. Nikolas strolls in and assumes she had a good night in her new place. “You have no idea,” she says.
After some banter, she asks what she did to deserve his kindness. He tells her kindness has nothing to do with this. The prince admits he doesn’t trust her after what she did to Ava. She only did that for his son and based on what he said.
Esme assumes he’s making sure she has a place to stay so he can keep an eye on her. He assumes the breakup is temporary and he wants to make sure that she is the right person for his son.
Nikolas wants to know she really cares for Spencer. She thinks it’s too late to prove that to him.
She reminds him that there is a target on her back, especially when it comes to the Corinthos clan. Carly already attacked her and Sonny is gunning for her.
He tells her to focus on being the person Spencer can trust. Esme tells him that Spencer has put all his trust in Trina and that has only made things worse.
She alludes to more but can’t explain, claims she needs some air, and rushes outside. Alone, she smiles to herself. As she reads The Invader article, she laughs until something startles her.
Victor enters Charlie’s and Nikolas that he just saw Esme leave in a car.
One of Sonny’s thugs dumps Esme into a chair in Corinthos’ office.
Laura arrives at the PCPD and talks to Jordan about the case. The commissioner tells her that Spencer is also involved in this. Ava storms past them.
Spencer shows up to see Trina. She reminds him that he was in custody the last time she saw him, now it’s her turn. He assures her he doesn’t think she’s guilty. She insists the evidence was planted. He asks why she would hurt Joss and Cam.
