Tues Oct 17 GH recap: Mason’s pissed that he has to let Ava go, Eddie and Lois discuss their past and Cyrus puts Austin in his place.
Monday’s GH recap: Michael Forces Martin to Confirm Nina Tipped Off the SEC, and Sasha Tells Maxie and Cody She’s Leaving
Lois follows Eddie into the kitchen and accuses him of avoiding her.
He denies it and she thinks he remembers her and tells him to fake remembering Olivia and the rest of the family.
She flashes back to how great Eddie was back in the 80s when they were in love and married before things went downhill and she learned he was Ned Ashton.
She left him after she got pregnant with BLQ.
She tries to jog his memory. “Our wedding. Coney Island?”
Sure, she looks familiar, Eddie admits but he doesn’t remember her or anyone, just as BLQ and Chase arrive.
His daughter looks crestfallen.
Lois meets Chase and thinks seeing them together feels right.
Chase should be honored that her kid doesn’t settle for anyone. “Ma!” Brook Lynn exclaims.
Eddie asks if her heart is what led her to him.
Chase wants to hear the story of how they met so she launches into the story of how her heart went to the man who didn’t exist.
She thought he was living a double life and didn’t realize he was Ned Ashton, planning on marrying another woman at the time.
She says he married her while they were married. Eddie says, “Olivia.” Lois says no.
He tells her he’s not living a double life and he’s sorry on behalf of the man he was then and how he treated her.
She seems to think he owes her more and goes off on him.
Eddie takes off and Lois apologizes for her outburst. Chase can see where her daughter gets her spirit.
Tracy gets a visit from Harrison who wants to settle a score.
She braces herself for a lecture but he surprises her by thanking her.
She burst out laughing and admits she thought he was going to lecture her.
He thinks anger is a waste of time but she finds it a motivator and an asset.
She asks how he’s doing and he says he gave up driving a while ago and his hands are worsening.
He’ll use a cane soon since his balance is not great. He asks after her and she gets him a scotch.
She’s relieved he came by because he’s been on her mind for shoving her foot in her mouth.
He tells her Finn bailed on her because Violet has a cold and offers to play backgammon with her. She’s in.
He beats her on repeat and he jokes that it was gratifying.
She tells him Yuri will drive him home and she apologizes again but this time about his diagnosis. They embrace and he toddles on home.
At PCPD, Joss needs to talk to Dante.
The cop lets her into interrogation where he’s just off a call with Olivia.
“Ava’s in trouble,” Joss says. She fills him in on when she went missing and what was left behind.
Avery and Pilar show up and Dante tells them to stay put while he goes in search of her mama.
Later, Avery’s sad that she couldn’t make her daddy’s wedding.
Joss is sure that Sonny and Nina will have something special planned when they return from their wedding.
Dex heads downstairs where Ava’s being held as Spin asks if he found Ava but Dex says there’s no sign of her.
They wonder where else she could be before Dex sees something of Ava’s that makes it conclusive that she was there.
Spinelli does a search for vehicles
Carly visits Drew in the hospital where they share a kiss.
He’s feeling better now that she’s there.
Drew says the doctor tells him he is recovered enough to go back to prison.
Carly starts yelling that they need to stop this.
If he goes back, whoever tried to kill him will finish the job.
He reminds her of why he went to prison and she whines that the doctor isn’t risking anything by letting him stay.
Carly insists they’re in this together.
She blames herself for this and he tells her to stop it.
At GH, Cyrus tells Austin they’ve got some unfinished business.
Austin asks what he wants and Cyrus just wants to thank him for his freedom. He’s invigorated.
Austin tells him to let Ava go. They had a deal.
Cyrus starts spouting off about the lord and Austin says Ava is no threat to him.
Austin gets a page and has to go so Cyrus calls Mason.

Mason drives Ava to some remote location in the dark and she begs him not to do this.
He has to. Ava doesn’t think he could hurt her but is following orders.
She warns that if Sonny finds out, Mason will pay.
She’ll cover for him if he lets her go.
Mason whips out a grape lollipop and pretends he cares about her offer and then tells her she’s full of it.
He’s not going to let her go.
They’ll sit quietly and wait for orders.
She doesn’t shut up so he tells her he knows she thinks he’s “white trash” and not worth her breath.
He got her attention when he learned she murdered her ex.
He accuses her of screwing his cousin because he’s a doctor when she could have had her chance with him.
“A real man.” He yells to shut up. Cyrus calls and tells Mason to take Ava home.
The situation is resolved. Mason doesn’t like it.
He says to hell with the boss’s orders and gets into the back seat and starts grabbing at Ava. Ava yells, “NO!”
He gets her out of the vehicle and Dex drives up, gets out of the car, gun in hand and demands that Mason let Ava go.
Mason takes out his gun and shoots Dex.
Dex goes down and Ava makes a run for it.
When Dex gets up, he launches himself at Mason and the men go down, pounding on each other.
They take it to the edge of the cliff and Ava screams.
Shots ring out. Dante shoots Mason in the back twice and Dante calls it in as Dex releases Ava from her binds.
Ava asks if he’ll live. Dante says probably and she details why he brought here there.
Back at GH, Carly’s shocked when Cyrus walks in to Drew’s room.
“What the hell!” They want to know why he’s out of prison and he explains he was released.
Carly thinks it’s a mistake and so is him visiting Drew.
He tells Carly any friction they had back when her and Jason were in charge is history.
She has a lot of animosity toward him. He hopes to make amends but she’s disinterested.
Cyrus explains he found Drew beaten in the shower. He saved his life. Drew is shocked.
When he is gone, Carly paces and yells that he’s dangerous and can’t be roaming the streets.
Back at PCPD, Spinelli calls Joss to ask if she’s talked to Dex.
Spin sent Dex some information about where Mason’s vehicle was and they lost contact when he hit a dead zone.
“Sorry. Poor choice of words,” he says.
He’ll continue his search and will call if he hears from Dex.
Joss calls Dante with an update and then Carly.
Tracy gets home and Eddie starts yelling that Lois is driving him crazy.
He doesn’t remember any of them and Tracy says she drives everyone crazy.
She’s no Lois fan but Eddie must see the situation is difficult. He knows but it’s hard on him, too. She’s sorry.
She leaves him the room to play music to get out of his head.
In the kitchen, Chase tells Lois about how she and BLQ met and how she has the same nerve as her mama.
Lois is touched and proud she taught her to stand up for herself.
She hugs Chase as Tracy waltzes in.
The kids go and Tracy says she brought them together.
Lois cites her blackmail as the reason.
Back at GH, Austin finds Cyrus and asks if Ava’s been released.
Cyrus reminds him of who is in control and takes off.
