General Hospital recap for Monday, March 28, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Scott gives Nina unsolicited advice, Trina’s parents are alerted to her being interrogated, and Harmony moves in with Alexis.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Spencer confronted Esme about the pregnancy test, and Sonny turned down Curtis’ appeal for help.
Dante notices Joss at the PCPD. She’s waiting for Trina while she’s being questioned. He suggests she head home because that might take longer than she thinks. She asks if he’s brought in Esme yet.
Jordan takes Trina into her office for an informal chat. Trina says she can ask her anything. She hopes she wakes the person who set her friends up to pay. Trina insists that Esme is behind this and had the means, motive, and opportunity.
She admits that she was blacked out in her room when all this happened and didn’t see anything. Jordan tells her she can call a parent or lawyer. Trina has nothing to hide.
The commissioner explains a caller on the tip line claimed to see Trina watching the video on her phone weeks before it went online.
Trina insists that’s impossible and asks her to look at her phone to prove it.
She claims she only has one phone but there are two in her bag. “I have no idea how that got in my bag,” she says of the second phone.
Harmony meets with Phyllis at Charlie’s to discuss Nina. Phyllis tells her that Nina was her patient and gave birth in a coma. Her mother tricked her to give the child away. She urges her to convince Willow that Nina is no threat and needs her grandson.
Phyllis reminds her of how well she got along with Madeline, the ice queen. Harmony claims to hardly remember her and never knew she was Nina’s mother.
That isn’t how it looked to Phyllis. Harmony assumes Nina put her up to this and walks out.
Marshall asks Curtis why he was speaking to Sonny. “I don’t trust Sonny’s type,” Marshall claims. His son thinks it’s more personal than that.
He needs to know what kind of trouble he could be bringing into his life.
Marshall has seen how mobsters get their hooks into club owners and doesn’t want to see that happen to him. Curtis assures him that doesn’t apply to Sonny and explains he helped TJ during a shooting.
His father explains his issue with Corinthos is not personal.
Curtis gets a call and goes outside. Jordan asks for his advice about contacting the family a suspect being questioned. She wonders if there is ethical space to contact the friend of the mother of a suspect.
She tells him “hypothetically” that a suspect has refuses legal counsel. He knows she’s talking about Trina and thanks her.
Marshall goes to the bar to pay and Phyllis tells him that if ever needs an ear, she will listen. He tells her life is tough without connections. She says sometimes you come across people for a reason and they become family.
He’s surprised to hear she’s talking about Sonny and learn of the things he’s done for her. Marshall tells her he was never there for his family, but he is now and determined to fight for them no matter the cost.
When Alexis gets home, she tells TJ and Molly something smells incredible. They cooked to thank her for letting them stay there. She will miss them.
They’re sure her job will keep her to busy to miss them.
She informs them that Harmony is moving in. When they pull faces, she tells them to just let it all out so she doesn’t have to stand around being questioned like a little girl. They tell her Shawn is concerned and asked them to keep an eye on Harmony.
Harmony shows up and senses the tension. She offers to leave but Alexis won’t allow it. She complains about Shawn overstepping by asking them to spy.
Harmony claims she’s glad he asked them to do that.
She thinks Alexis should appreciate how much her friends are looking out for her. When the young people go to the kitchen, Harmony fills her friend in about Nina sending Phyllis to speak to her.
After she accidentally spills something, Harmony finds the carpet cleaner. Alexis is surprised she knew where it was.

The latest GH casting news – Trina recast
Nina joins Scott at the Metro Court bar. He has to convince her to wait with him until Liesl arrives. They bicker about her case. He knows she felt blindsided by how he handled it, but he’s not sorry for keeping her out of jail.
He convinces her to order a cocktail and stay. They discuss her case for access to see her grandson. Martin is out of town, so Scott offers to step in at the family rate.
She has a plan in the works to keep her out of court.
Eventually, she realizes that Liesl set her up to meet with Scott for this conversation. He accuses her of trying to avoid court because of her feelings for Sonny.
The lawyer doesn’t see the appeal but assumes she’s in love with the mobster. He encourages her to get off that ride and never look back.
She points out that he has defied the naysayers and found happiness with an unlikely partner, so why can’t she? Nina thinks Sonny just needs a partner who will support him.
He’s sure Carly did that and he let her down. Nina still wants to try.
Before she leaves, he tells her she will have to choose between the kid and the gangster. He’ll do whatever he can to help with Wiley, but if she wants Sonny, she’s on her own. Phyllis calls to say things didn’t go well with Harmony.
At their table, Portia tells Taggert how relieved she is that Esme is out of her daughter’s life. Taggert is having a hard time biting his tongue. She’s glad that they are still friends and he’s okay with her being with Curtis.
Curtis calls to inform her of Trina’s situation and they immediately take off.
Across the room, Esme asks Nikolas if she can stay with him. When he turns her down, she accuses him of turning his back on her like everyone else. The prince tells her he doesn’t believe everything he’s heard but it is hard to believe that Trina is guilty. Ava thinks highly of her.
She tells him Ava doesn’t know what it’s like to be abandoned the way they do. She’s heard about how he grew up. She was an orphan and spent her life in boarding school. Spencer is the only family she’s ever had. Now he has his family back and she has no one.
He’s sorry to hear that but can’t take sides. Esme guesses she needs to leave town. When he walks off to take a call, she wipes away her tears and smiles to herself. The prince returns. She’s sorry she won’t be able to help him heal things with her son.
He appreciates all the help she’s been. The prince can’t let her worry about where to sleep. He offers to rent a room over Kelly’s for her. That leaves her a bit deflated. When he promises to check on her, she is thrilled and throws her arms around him.
Back at the PCPD, Joss asks Dante why Trina has been moved into the interrogation room.
Jordan calls him away and hands him the phone. There’s no password protection on it which seems a little too convenient.
As he takes it down to forensics, Taggert barges in and confronts Jordan. “I thought we were friends!” he complains.
Taggert and Portia go in to see their daughter. She insists she is innocent. He can’t believe she’d talk to the cops without a lawyer.
Portia tells her to speak to no one else until the lawyer gets there. Trina cries about upsetting her. Her mom tells her she doesn’t need to be sorry but whoever did this to her will be.
Taggert busts into Jordan’s office and lectures her. She says she had no choice and had to investigate this. Dante knocks and asks her out to speak.
When the cops leave, Taggert tells Curtis that Trina is surely being framed. Curtis assures him no one wants to see her get railroaded.
Jordan returns. She doesn’t like having to say this, but…
She returns to Trina and Portia and informs Trina that she is being booked. Jordan tells them that the evidence on the phone directly implicates Trina.
Taggert reminds his daughter to stay quiet. Joss protests and Portia begs. Dante places Trina under arrest and leads her away.
