Fri March 22, 2024: BLQ vents to Chase about Lucy, Cody tells Olivia she’s a great mom, and Michael offers to get Jason out of town.
Thursday’s GH recap: Drew asked Nina to come back to Crimson, Michael asked Spinelli to break the law, and Sasha threatened to quit Deception.
At the Deception office, Sasha complains to the other ladies about the need to be edgier.
She’s not willing to change her look the way Lucy wants.
Maxie says they can go to other magazines but Lucy says they need Belle Peau of they will go bust.
Sasha feels like she has been doing this enough. She understands that modelling is about appearance.
She’s also realized there are more important things in her life than being paid to be looked at.
Maxie asks them to all take a break but Lucy insists they settle this now. It can’t be hugged out.
She’s not going to let this tank her company. “Excuse me? Your company?” BLQ objects, reminding her Tracy is the majority owner.
They argue about how little Tracy cares about the future of the company.
Lucy says this company was all her idea and BLQ reminds her of the lawsuit.
Coe has had enough and declares that she will fix this and if BLQ doesn’t like it, she can walk.
Sasha knows how much Lucy has sacrificed for the company.
She cares about it too, but not like she used to.
She’s grateful for working there with all of them, but she’s over this and resigns.
Lucy suggests she just take a vacation and then bickers with BLQ, who says that Lucy will run off anyone else brings in too.
Once the Quartermaine storms out, Lucy asks Sasha if she’s leaving because of her.
Sasha assures her it’s not and reminds her she never wanted to be a model in the first place. She’s changed since she signed on.
Although she doesn’t know what she wants in her life, she doesn’t want to be a model.
Lucy has to remind her that she has to give up her stake in the company if she resigns.
Maxie says that Lucy has already dug them all a hole. Coe explains Sasha will have to sell back her shares at market price and that’s gone way down. If she waits until they go up, she could walk away with a chunk of change.
Sasha says not much is more than she has now and walks out. Maxie demands to know what is wrong with Lucy.
Lucy tells Maxie they can get Blaze to replace Sasha. Maxie points out that BLQ is her manager.
She’s sure that anything Lucy does will just be temporary because all she does is destroy things.
She asks her to leave.
Cody goes into the stable and tells a horse about quitting his job today over what happened between Sasha and Lucy.
It felt good to stick it to Lucy but now he wonders if he made the right decision.
Brushing the horse, he tells him how dump modeling is but worries about how Sasha and Maxie will be.
Olivia shows up to say Dante is the same.
She tried to take a nap but cooked instead.
She says it’s very peaceful there.
She’s been spending all her time at Dante’s side, recalling his past and how resilient he is.
She keeps telling herself that sleep is healing.
He tells her no one is good at the kind of waiting she’s been doing and asks her to stay to eat.
As she sits, she can see why Leo likes it there.
She feels like she should be with her son but Cody reminds her she needs a break.
He tells her she’s an amazing mom. Anyone else would have been crushed by what she’s going through.
He’s sure her son has the same strength.
As they drink, he tells her a story about her son at camp and how quickly he could adapt.
Cody is sure that he will wake up with a smile.
Liv thanks him for cheering her up and gives him a hug before returning to the hospital.
Sasha shows up and announces that she’s left Deception too. She did it for her. She needed a change.
When he walked, something clicked for her. Her friends will still be her friends.
He asks if she will be okay financially. She’ll have to think of something.
As they feed the horse, they talk about his lack of plans for the future. It left him with freedom but also drifting.
He’s not sure that’s for him anymore. He’s happy living and working there.
She’s excited for the possibilities. They toast to it with carrots.
