Tues Jan 30, 2024: Today on General Hospital, Sonny tells Avery Nina has moved out, Anna and Jordan make a deal with Brennan, and Curtis and Portia are determined to rescue their daughter.
Monday’s GH recap: Kevin woke up, and Spencer and Trina enjoyed a romantic dinner as Esme stalked them.
At Pentonville, Jordan worries about Anan speaking to Brennan alone. Devane says he’s playing games and she wants to know why.
They join Brennan, who sarcastically tells Jordan he’s impressed that she tracked him down from his call.
Before he’ll tell them anything, he wants to know what they will do for him.
He wants his freedom and immunity. They tell him it won’t happen so he won’t help.
Anna offers to save his life by protecting him from Sonny.
He laughs about how disappointed Faison would be in her.
Jordan asks him about the gun. He explains it came from a confiscated group of guns that later disappeared.
Someone has been selling the weapons at a high price. If they find them, they find the shooter.
As he’s shown away, he tells Anna he’ll look forward to seeing her again.
In the hallway of the court house, Tracy corners Mrs. Muldoon to tell her a thing or two about Finn. She tells her about Finn’s family and what a great doctor he is.
He’s a kind, caring, good man and Port Charles is better off for having him there.
Mrs Muldoon insists his negligence resulted in her husband’s death. Tracy decides to appeal to her sense of self-preservation.
In the court room, Martin tells Finn that the malpractice case is clearly fraudulent. Finn doesn’t want them to go after Muldoon’s suffering family.
His lawyer asks if he really wants to pass on this solid way out. Finn won’t put a mother of four at risk of prosecution.
When the hearing resumes, Diane asks for teh chance to speak to the witness Martin has added. He apologizes and explains they will not be going ahead with that.
Diane announces that her client has just decided to drop the lawsuit.
Everyone is baffled and the judge orders the lawyers into his quarters. Finn turns around and asks what just happened.
The judge soon returns and declares the case is over. Everyone is still confused and wonder what happens.
“Who cares? Justice prevailed!” declares Tracy, giving Finn a hug. His dad starts piecing things together.
Martin asks Tracy what happened and she’ll only say her client decided to drop it.
They shake and he wishes he’d had the chance to best her in court. “You may get that chance when Hell freezes ovah,” she drawls.
Mrs. Muldoon corners Finn. She tells him that she’s sorry. Her husband loved her and must have felt desperate.
The doctor says that people go to great lengths in that kind of situation. She thinks that’s very generous of him.
She tells him his kindness won’t be forgotten and his daughter is lucky to have him as a father.
Once she walks off, Liz approaches and Finn tells her he feels kind of bad for the Muldoons. Winning the case could have made a big difference for them.
Liz says he’s amazing because he has so much compassion for them. He says he’s no hero. She points out he was willing to risk his career to help that family.
Holding her hand, he says he’s learned that without medicine, he would still have her and his family. As long as he has that, he has all he needs.
Meanwhile, Gregory tells Tracy that the fundraising page for Mrs. Muldoon suddenly got a very large deposit around the same time she decided to drop her lawsuit.
She admits they may have exchanged a few words. He assumes she used her financial powers.
Tracy won’t admit to anything but he says that he’s extremely grateful that Finn has a friend who would put themselves on the line for him.
At General Hospital, Curtis is feeling sore after physical therapy but is sure it’s worth it. Marshall joins them, happy to see his son willing to meet the challenge.
They talk about what a wonderful time Trina must be having in Paris.
Laura shows up and informs them that Esme is in Paris. They assume that she’s after Spencer and Trina.
Marshall suggests that a charge they could easily find could be another game to throw them off.
The mayor explains the PCPD have footage of her in Paris. They panic and decide to call Trina.
Portia calls and has to leave a message.

On the shore in Paris, Esme watches Spencer and Trina board a boat and then checks her bag for the syringe and duct tape.
Spencer brings Trina to a boat so they can have a private getaway. They are going to travel down the Seine to Normandy.
She can’t imagine anything more spectacular than this.
The captain pops up to announce they are prepared to set off.
Trina tells Spencer that he’s an incredible person who has shown her so much. He says she’s opened his eyes to a whole new world and taught him he’s worthy of love.
She’s all that he always wanted and never believed he could have. He love her for the rest of his life. They kiss.
After they go inside, Esme pops up. The captain instantly catches her, accusing her of being a stowaway. She whacks him with a fire extinguisher.
She starts apologizing and checks his pulse to make sure he’s alive.
Inside, Spencer gets a call from Laura but it drops. They go to their room.
As they kiss, she yawns and says she’s jet-lagged.
He says they’ve had a long day and can go to bed.
She wants him forever and they fall into bed.
After sex, he wonders how he got so lucky. he runs off to grab a snack.
On the deck, he finds a trail of blood.
Back in her room, Trina is startled when Esme shows up.
Back at General Hospital, Portia starts to panic when her daughter isn’t answering her phone. She blames all of this on Spencer.
Laura apologizes for her family dragging Trina into this. The doctor says they just have to stop whatever Esme has planned.
Laura has arranged to take the ELQ jet. Dante is already on his way to Paris and the local cops have been notified.
Curtis is determined to go too. His wife and father wonder if that’s a good idea.
He’s determined to help his daughter and won’t let being in the chair stop him.
His father is more worried about what he’ll do if he finds Esme. “You can double that concern because I’m going to Paris too,” proclaims Portia.
Marshall tells them to get his grand-daughter back safe.
In Puerto Rico, Dex and Sonny settle in and hush up as Ava joins them, observing there’s a lot more security than the last time she was there.
Dex walks off to monitor the perimeter and Ava wishes she had a drink. She thought being there would make them secure but she feels exposed.
Avery doesn’t seem concerned at all. Sonny assures her no one will get near her and tells her not to make herself crazy.
She worries that their daughter notices more than he thinks. He says that discussing his business is off-limits.
Jerome is talking about Nina. She’s sure being there is bringing up all kinds of feelings but he insists he’s fine.
He declares Nina off-limits too. He thinks he’s sheltered his kids from Nina but Ava explains that their daughter has asked her about it.
She’s tried to deflect but he’s going to need to talk to her.
Avery runs over with sea shells.
They sit down and he tells her that things have become complicated with Nina and she needs to stay away from the penthouse for awhile.
He asks how she feels about it. She guesses it’s okay but she misses her and asks if she will see her again.
After Avery skips off, Sonny thanks Ava for filling him in. She points out he didn’t really answer the question about Nina.
He wonders if she wants the answer for herself or Nina.
Laura calls to say they’ve found out Esme is in Paris. She’ll update them when they know more.
Sonny warns that she has nothing to lose and then assures Ava that this will be dealt with and that will be one less threat to her.
Out at the gate, Dex finds the guard has been knocked out. He calls Sonny to say there’s a man down.
Sonny and Ava cower behind a table as shots are fired.
