Wed Feb 28, 2024: Carly and Sonny argue about betrayal, Michael and Dante worry about their father’s safety, and Scott hopes John is back to take Sonny down.
Tuesday’s GH recap: Furious Maxie kicked Spinelli out, and Nina wouldn’t give up on her marriage though Sonny said he could forgive but not forget.
Chase drops in at Finn’s. His brother hopes he’s not there to ask him to be best man. That is why he came over.
His brother assures him he was just kidding but warns he’s not great at all that stuff.
Chase just wants him by his side. His brother teases him about being nervous and asks how he feels about the wedding in general.
Gregory walks in as Finn teases his brother about having sweaty feet.
Their father tells Chase that he’s making the biggest commitment in his life and it’s normal to be anxious.
Chase insists they are in a great place and he found a true partner in BLQ. They feel safe.
Chase gets a text from the Quartermaine lawyers. BLQ wants him to sign a prenup.
He can’t believe this is happening. His father urges him not to jump to conclusions. He’s sure the document is meant to protect them both.
Chase thinks his bride-to-be is already planning a way out.
They wonder if this was Tracy’s idea and then Gregory and his son leave to speak to BLQ.
At the Quartermaine estate, enthusiastic BLQ thanks Maxie for arranging for her to have a private wedding gown try-on. Lois starts weeping.
She tells her daughter when she looks at her she still sees a toddler. She has all these mental snapshots of her life and this will be another she can hold in her heart.
They promise they will find BLQ the perfect dress. Lois tells her it has to make her feel as beautiful as she is.
BLQ pretends its not important. They talk about dresses as Tracy joins them.
Lois had a huge dress and ran 17 blocks in it. Tracy eventually stops her and explains the dress belonged to Lila.
Lois wishes she could pass it on to her daughter but it’s not hers to give. Her mother’s dress got eaten by squirrels and it still pains Gloria.
BLQ thinks she traded up getting Lila’s dress. She flashes back to Lila offering her the dress.
They ask Tracy why she didn’t wear it. Tracy explains it was out of style and is in storage now.
They wait until BLQ comes back in a dress. Lois thinks lightning struck. BLQ looks at herself in the mirror.
Maxie asks if she feel beautiful. BLQ says it’s a maybe.
Her mom reminds her this should be her one and only wedding dress. Maxie adds it’s not like picking a dress for the ball. It’s like going to the Oscars.
BLQ says you just have to accept what’s available and move on and then stomps out.
She runs off and looks at her parents’ wedding photos before sighing.
The other ladies discuss how stressed out BLQ is. Tracy points out she doesn’t have time for perfect.
When BLQ returns, she tells them that she can’t wait to marry Chase but she sometimes wishes they could run away and elope.
She just doesn’t want to agonize over wedding details.
Tracy gets a text and explains there has been an error. The lawyers accidentally sent Chase a prenup before they could review it.
BLQ makes it clear she didn’t want one. Lois bellows at Tracy to back off and not try to control things.
Tracy insists she was only trying to safeguard her granddaughter’s future.
BLQ is eager to find him and explain what happened.
Chase and Gregory pop up.

Carly and Donna are in the playground when Sonny shows up. Once he gets a kiss, she runs off to climb.
Sonny and his ex discuss Joss being devastated at losing Dex. He’s sorry but had no choice.
Carly asks what’s going on. He explains he used to believe he could trust her until what happened with Dex.
She violated his trust and he never thought she would do that. “Whatever,” she says.
They admire Donna’s climbing and assume she gets her risk-taking from them. Carly worries about him.
He says he can take care of himself. She reminds him Olivia is dead and she doesn’t want to think about who is next.
They sit and she tells him what she’s heard about the conspiracy. It has her worried.
He says she shouldn’t be and he can protect the kids.
She fills him in on Jagger becoming a regular at Bobbie’s.
This infuriates him, who says that John is just a punk with a badge.
He’d love to tell her the truth about Jagger but can’t.
She made it clear to the Fed that her loyalty is with him so she doubts he’ll come by again.
Scott brings Karen flowers in the cemetery. Jagger startles him when he approaches.
The lawyer is surprised to learn he’s in the FBI. John is sorry for not reaching out to him but wasn’t sure he’d want to hear from him after divorcing Karen.
Scott admires him and John recalls how young he and Karen were when they got together.
The lawyer tells him things change and then brings up Sonny, hoping he is there to take him down.
Sonny used to be a petty thug with a strip club and now he walks around like he’s the mayor.
It’s always driven John crazy that Sonny got to Karen, pushed her into stripping and exploited her.
“Make him pay! Take him out!” Scott bellows.
Sitting down, John explains that he’s been tasked with protecting Sonny. That doesn’t mean he will ever forgive him.
Scott urges him to look the other way and let nature run its course. John isn’t that kind of man.
But he tells Scott not to lose hope. For people like Sonny, it only ends one way.
Michael calls Joss from teh gym to check in. She tells him she’s determined to find Dex on her own. He tells her that’s not a good idea but she hangs up.
Dante strolls in and confirms for his brother that they are good, regardless of what’s going on with their father.
Michael has a favor to ask. His brother cuts him off, explaining he can’t help him makes things right with Sonny right now.
Michael is sure that he was right to do what he did and now their father has no one in his life.
Dante reminds him that he has him. His brother points out he’s also a cop which means he won’t let him in and that leaves him vulnerable.
The cop tells his brother he needs to trust him. They are making some headway on the Jerome killing.
Michael doubts the PCPD will be working hard to protect their father.
Sonny shows up.
Joss is down by the water in Rockland. She finds someone and shows them a picture of Dex, asking if he’s seen him. He hasn’t and there aren’t any jobs to keep anyone there.
Dex is hiding behind a fence. he pokes out and she throws her arms around him.
They kiss and he asks why she’s there before dragging her away where they won’t be seen.
They go to the cabin where he has been staying and he tells her that looking for him, flashing his picture around and asking questions was not a good idea.
She was supposed to let him go.
Joss can’t accept this and missed him so much. He missed her too.
She asks him to show her so they undress and he lights her lamp.
They relax in bed. He thinks about her every five minutes.
She says going back to Port Charles will be complicated but Sonny will have to accept there is no keeping them apart.
He thought she understood he can’t come back. This is goodbye for good.
