Mon Feb 26, 2024: Sonny gives Spinelli a job, Curtis gives Drew some advice, and John tells Carly about the conspiracy.
Friday’s GH recap: Cyrus learned that the man they are seeking is “dead,” and Kristina and Blaze got intimate.
Kristina wake sup in Blaze’s bed.
The singer is watching her sleep.
They giggle and she tells her how lucky she is to have her in her bed and life.
Kristina thanks her for being there for her and the little one.
They would like eggs Benedict and home fries for breakfast.
After Blaze goes off to get food ready, her mom Natalia (played by Eva LaRue) walks through the door, catching Kristina in bed.
Pulling on a robe, she runs over and says how much she’s heard about her.
She hasn’t heard anything about her.
Blaze comes out and wonders what she’s doing there.
“I have the same question for the young lady I just found in your bed,” says Natalia.
Kristina claims they just had a late girl’s night and Blaze let her stay.
She gets dressed and looks for an excuse to leave. Blaze tries to get her to stay but she wants to go.
Natalia pulls out the shows she bought her daughter and the pudding from her abuela.
Blaze complains the shoes aren’t vegan and she doesn’t like coconuts.
She tells her mom she doesn’t know her as well as she thinks.
She admits that she lied to her earlier and it wasn’t the first time.
Kristina goes to the door but Blaze asks her to stay.
She tells her mom that Kristina was just covering for her earlier. She and Kristina are more than just friends.
At the gym, Curtis catches Drew beating ion the bag and wonders what’s up. Drew says it’s just Carly. She thinks that prison changed him.
Curtis says he seems like fundamentally the same guy so why is she so concerned.
They talk about the Nina situation. Curtis is her friend but he can understand why he’s mad about it.
Drew explains that Carly is just concerned about his refusal to let what happened with Nina go. He is determined to prove he’s not a victim.
As he lifts weights, he vents and claims he just wants to get through this and move on to the good stuff.
Curtis knows how he feels. He was angry when he was shot too. He hates being vulnerable too.
This is all familiar to Drew and he wishes that Carly could understand how he is processing things.
They talk about how well Curtis’ procedure went and how he finally managed to be intimate with Portia again.
The men discuss losing years with their daughters and Curtis tells him of how he pushed everyone away until he got real with himself.
Drew teases him for being heavy-handed with the advice but owns up to landing himself in prison.
At Bobbie’s, Carly welcomes John when he walks in. He sits at the bar and she asks him why he’s in town.
She’s less friendly when he explains that he’s an FBI agent.
Carly is sure that he’s not there for the coffee and wants information on Sonny.
He claims he didn’t know she was Sonny ex the first time he stopped by and he’s not building a case against him right now. Not that he wouldn’t jump at the chance.
He repeats that he’s not there to question her. They rehash all that Sonny did for Stone.
Jagger says that doesn’t buy him redemption.
She thinks it is ironic that he and Sonny hate each other but both named their sons Stone.
He adds that she likely would be out for revenge if someone hurt someone she loves.
Cates explains that he’s there to help save Sonny from being assassinated.
This whole conspiracy thing is news to her. There’s not much he can say but he promises he will nail whoever is behind it.
They get back to bickering about Sonny and he tells her that he won’t cut corners if he goes after Sonny.
She’s not impressed by his honor, saying Sonny is the most honorable man she knows and she refuses to see him as a criminal.
Later, she’s surprised when she returns and finds an apology written on the back of John’s bill. That makes her smirk.
She flashes back to her fight with Drew and complains to herself about how no one considers her.
Drew walks in.

At Maxie’s, Spinelli wakes up and notices everyone is gone.
Maxie rushes in to say the kids are off to school early.
He hopes the early start is not about her avoiding him.
She asks why she would be doing that and then flashes back to their post-karaoke kiss.
Sonny starts banging on the door, wanting to speak to Spinelli.
Maxie runs off and leaves the men alone.
The boss explains that he has a job for him to do.
This is a surprise to Spinelli, who always thought he just considered him annoying.
Sonny explains that Jason’s approval is enough for him. He’s honored by Jason’s faith.
Spinelli won’t take the job if it could put anyone in the house in danger.
Sonny is reassuring.
After Spinelli agrees to take the job, Sonny offers to have his plumbing fixed.
Spinelli explains it was all staged so he could move in and help Maxie with her finances. The boss suggests he tell her the truth.
As he leaves, Spinelli tells him he misses Stone Cold too.
Later, Maxie returns from the craft fair.
She babbles awkwardly until she reminds him that he kissed her last night. He says she kissed him back.
So what happens next?
Nina rushes into the gallery and asks Ava is she’s busy because she’s about to lose Sonny for good.
She tells her friend he served her with divorce papers. That’s no surprise to Ava.
Nina thinks that Sonny has her blocked on all sides. It’s a nightmare.
If she could just talk to his face and remind him of what they mean to each other.
That’s where she’s hoping Ava can help.
She’s hoping she can get them alone together. Ava would like to help but doubts the mobster would take kindly to her interfering.
Her friend doesn’t think she has any other options. She’s startled when Ava worries that meddling could harm her relationship with Sonny.
“You and Sonny have a relationship now?” asks Nina.
Ava claims they are co-existing well and she doesn’t want to jeopardize that.
A man comes in to deliver the papers finalizing the sale of Wyndemere and Spoon Island. She is determined to put it in the past and forget it.
They discuss about where Ave will move now. The Jerome isn’t going to pressure him to let her move out.
Nina gets back to complaining about him slamming the door in her face.
Her friend urges her to give him time. He’s going through it after losing Spencer and Dex.
Nina demands an explanation about what happened with Dex.
Ava clams up and her friend gets back to venting about the Sonny situation.
“If he wants to end our marriage, the least he can do is say it to my face,” she says. He walks in.
Ava cringes.
Nina asks for a word with him and Ava walks off to get her things to leave.
Nina asks him to talk but he refuses. She reminds him of their vows.
When Ava returns, Sonny says he will see her later. She hurries off, leaving them alone.
