Thurs April 4, 2024: Kevin thinks Heather has changed, Sasha makes shepherd’s pie, and Tracy decides to start riding again.
Wednesday’s GH recap: Liz talked about being disappointed by Jason, Maxie gave Nina tough love, and Tracy and Stella made a girlfriends date.
Terry wishes Tracy happy birthday at General Hospital and tells her there is no cause for concern in her bloodwork.
The only thing Tracy can complain about is cold hands and lethargy.
The doctor suggests she might be depressed and should see a psychologist.
Tracy says she’s grieving not depressed and she doesn’t care what anyone else thinks.
Terry knows she’s suffered more losses than that and urges her to get out more to keep her body moving.
Terry meets with Alexis and Laura.
The mayor asks her to sign a contact that would put city employees on GH’s health plan.
They all admire Laura making this a priority.
Alexis has already drafted up a PR statement for this.
When Terry reads it over, she says the hospital’s PR department should draft something up instead.
Portia backs away from Heather when she notices her restraint is gone.
She calls in a guard and nurse to tighten Heather’s restraints before walking out.
Kevin drops by to see Heather and gives some basic memory tests.
She starts cracking jokes and says everyone thinks she’s dumb but it’s not true.
The horrible things she did weren’t out of stupidity but to calm down her blood.
She’s in a lot less pain now that her hip is better.
At least she can pace the yard when she’s back in the slammer.
Heather tells him that if she could walk out of there, she would take flowers to Sasha for killing her husband.
If she had money, she’d buy a little house with a yard where Ace could play.
But why torture herself thinking of things that are impossible?
Kevin walks off to see Portia and tells her that he’s seen a striking difference in Heather since her surgery.
She suggests he tell that to someone who didn’t almost lose their daughter to her.
Kevin meets with Laura and Alexis and they tell him that the contracts have been signed. He congratulates them.
His wife goes off to see Heather and he asks Alexis for a legal opinion.
If someone has been convicted of heinous crimes but they have learned there may have been mitigating circumstances due to a medical condition. The former lawyer says that it’s possible the case could be re-opened.
Portia rushes between them and asks them to say that they aren’t considered finding a way to let Heather skate.
Laura goes to see Heather, who asks if Ace will be calling her mom or grandma yet.
The mayor hasn’t thought about that one yet.
She says she’s looking well. Heather tells her she can’t stop thinking about what a disaster her life is.
“What have I done?” she asks.
When Laura returns to her husband and Alexis, she remarks on how much Heather seems to have changed and asks Portia for her thoughts.
The doctor says that that woman is pulling one over on everyone.
She refuses to discuss this and doesn’t care how nice or victimized Heather seems to be.
She rants about how awful she has been to the staff and challenges them to bring this to a judge because she will fight it with every breath in her body.
Kristina meets with Blaze in the corridor.
After asking about Dante, she apologizes about the Deception/Crimson thing and says she wasn’t keeping it from her.
It caught Kristina off-guard. Blaze wasn’t sure it would happen and then it was done.
She swears she wasn’t keeping it a secret.
Kristina thinks it’s cool and will broaden her demographic.
Blaze says it’s been bumpy and she doesn’t know the fashion and beauty world.
Her girlfriend is sure that Maxie will help her navigate all that.
Blaze worries she won’t be hot or trendy enough.
Kristina gives her a pep talk. Blaze adds her mom thinks she should keep her private life private for now.
Will that be a problem?
Kristina says that as long as they can be themselves with each other, it’s cool.
Blaze offers to pull out of the deal but it’s not necessary.
Blaze just wants to be happy and Kristina makes her happy.

Cassandra James returning to GH
At Bobbie’s, Joss introduces the new manager, Hunter Cruise, to Felicia.
Trina helps Curtis through the door and everyone claps at him walking.
Felicia is thrilled to see him on his feet.
Curtis didn’t know so many people would be happy to see him recovering.
Felicia tells him to keep it up and takes off.
Trina tells her dad how proud she is of him for beating the odds.
Joss asks Trina what she’s planning for the fall. Trina still doesn’t know.
Dex walks in and Joss tries not to look at him.
Trina asks if she will go talk to him. She won’t.
Curtis guesses they aren’t together anymore and asks how Bobbie would feel about a customer being ignored.
Joss tells herself to act like an adult and walks over to him to take his order.
There are things he knows he can’t have so he asks for coffee and grilled cheese instead.
As she gets him coffee, she’s startled to see that he’s now working for the PCPD. She thinks that’s reckless and stupid.
This makes him even more of a target for Sonny. He says they can’t all be doctors.
She says school is fine but she’s been re-thinking a lot of her decisions lately.
She’s seen patients aren’t always good people.
He asks if that applies to Cyrus. She walks off.
She brings him the burned sandwich and he chews on it.
Curtis tells Trina that he felt helpless when he was disabled but learned what that was like.
It was a wake-up call.
He realized that he will always be him and no one should be made to feel small.
They talk about her lack of appetite and how she doesn’t come in there much since she used to spend so much time with Spencer.
Her father says it will take time but broken hearts repair.
He’s sure she will love and be loved again. She deserves it.
At the stables, Sasha gets a call from Olivia to Cody’s phone, telling her that Dante is coming home.
She was making plans for Tracy’s birthday and needs some help.
She asks Sasha to start the chicken.
When Cody arrives, Sasha informs him that his friend is heading home.
Thrilled, he embraces her.
He thinks his friend probably set a record for getting released the fastest.
Olivia asked her to start the chicken parm but it’s spoiled.
She’s going to figure something out. He tells her how much he appreciates her. She appreciates him too.
Once she walks off, he takes off his shirt and starts cleaning Coment the horse until Tracy arrives.
She averts her gaze and asks him to put on more clothes. Once he has a shirt on, she stutters into telling him she’d like to start riding again.
She hasn’t ridden any of the horses they have now and asks him to help her choose one.
Once she has, she’s surprised he’s not discouraging. He wouldn’t dream of it.
Sasha arrives and says she’s been working there. Tracy is sorry things didn’t work out with Deception.
Thanking her, Sasha has realized she didn’t want to spend her days having her pictures taken.
After she leaves, Cody remembers his first photo shoot with Sasha.
Olivia runs in with the food she found in the kitchen and asks where it came from.
Sasha made it. Olivia says it’s amazing and looks delicious. She takes it off to Dante and his family.
Cody compliments Sasha on her hidden talents and she teases he can see some more if he sticks around.
In the kitchen, Tracy laughs when she finds a birthday cake.
