Wednesday, August 16 GH recap: Gladys wants a retraining order against Cody, Marshall tells Portia they need to help with The Savoy, and Ava tells Nina her problems are almost over.
Tuesday’s GH recap:Betty fell into Sonny’s trap, Alexis encouraged Esme to change, and TJ and Molly interviewed possible surrogates.
Trina and Ava go to the pool and chat about Curtis.
They’re hoping he can regain the use of his legs.
Ava asks what her plans are until school starts up.
Trina turned down an internship and the museum and was hoping she could return to Ava’s gallery.
Ava would be happy to have her back. Trina wants to make her own hours.
She spots Spencer playing with Ace in the pool and gushes about how sweet and inseparable they are.
Ava asks if that’s uncomfortable for her given that it means he’s also spending time with Esme.
Nina arrives and Trina takes off.
Nina asks why she asked to meet. Her friend declares they are celebrating the end of her nightmare.
Things have shifted and now she has a weight off her shoulders.
This is all vague to Nina, who assumes this has something to do with Sonny.
She feels shut out of whatever the deal is. Ava claims it’s nothing to worry about.
Nina says that anything involving Sonny involves her but the Jerome is not explaining.
As Trina and Spencer play with Ace, Esme arrives and watches them from the distance. She worries about her mom and suggests she go see her.
Trina thinks her mom is struggling with the Curtis situation. It’s tearing her up inside and she doesn’t want to burden her mom with her feelings.
Spencer suggests she just be there for her. She tells him he gives good advice for a boy.
They exchange a peck and she walks off.
Esme comes over. She thought she’d join them and offers to take Ace into the water.
He awkwardly smiles when she reveals her bathing suit.
Portia is at work, staring at her wedding photo and imagining Curtis in physio.
Marshall interrupts to say there’s a problem with The Savoy.
Nika called him to say how overwhelming running the place is.
Plus, Curtis’ presence was central to how successful the place was. They need to keep his dream alive.
Michael and Willow bump into Austin in the hospital hallway.
He’s glad to se her walking. She feels like she’s finally getting her life back.
After the doctor walks off, she tells Michael she’s finally not nervous about being there and is sure she won’t hear anything negative at her check-up.
He tells her that he’s the luckiest guy in the world and he doesn’t take a moment for granted.
When she goes off to her appointment, he corners Dex, who informs him he’s trailing Austin.
Michael wonders why.
Willow runs out of her appointment, giddily saying she can go out in public again.
She finally has the energy to push a stroller.
Dr. Randolph made it clear she needs to fully recover before going back to work.
She doesn’t want this great feeling to stop so he suggests they go celebrate.
Portia runs into Dex and wonders why he’s there. He makes an excuse.
Austin meets Betty in his office.
She shows him the flash drive and tells him she’s got the jackpot. Mason joins them.
Austin tells them he’s out and insists he’s out.
Mason says he’s not out until the boss says so. Dex eavesdrops.
Portia goes back to her office and makes notes about modifying the house.
Trina arrives with some coffee and they talk about the adjustments they’ll have to make.
Trina explains Spencer urged her to come.
Michael and Willow got to the pool.
They bump into Ava, who is in an unusually good mood.
In physio, Curtis’ therapist, Roy, pushes him to try harder. He’s sure he won’t let a spinal injury get him down. He lifts some weights until Roy gets him to stop.
When he steps away, Selina shows up.
She tells him he has her deepest sympathy.
He’s not happy to see her. She claims they are friends. That’s news to him.
She’s offended but offers to take The Savoy off his hands.
She’s prepared to make a generous offer.
Marshall interrupts. “Over my dead body!” he says.
Curtis and Marshall insist the family will look after the club.
Miss Wu thinks they may find that challenging and suggests they keep her proposal in mind.
After she’s gone, Curtis thanks his father but says he can fight his own battles.
He’s not planning to stay in the wheelchair, and even if he was, he could still run his club.
His father has every intention of keeping the place going until he comes back.
That is if he will teach him the trade. Curtis says it’s complicated. Roy returns and Marshall takes off.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
Sam joins Cody at the coffee house and he asks for her help with Sasha.
He managed to sneak into Ferncliff thanks to BLQ but was shocked by what he saw.
Sasha was totally out of it and freaked out when she saw him.
He’s sure she’s being drugged and he wants her help proving it.
The ranch hand tells her his suspicions and she believes him but they need proof.
He leaps up, declaring he will go find it.
Gladys shows up at the PCPD and tells Dante they have an emergency.
She wants a restraining order to keep Cody away from Sasha. The cop gets her to sit down and explain.
Mac joins them as Gladys claims that Cody is terrorizing Sasha and she needs to protect her.
He sends her to another cop to fill out the paperwork.
Dante tells Mac they need to take what Gladys says with a grain of salt.
Mac knows and compares this to what happened when he tried to rescue Dominique from Leopold.
Dante flashes back to learning Mac really is Cody’s father.
Cody storms in, yelping about how Sasha is vulnerable and being taken advantage of.
Gladys stomps over and slaps the straining order on him.
He thinks she’s insane and accuses her of committing Sasha so she won’t be cut off from her money.
When he lunges at her, the cops hold him back.
Gladys wants him arrested. Mac points out that will mean they have to investigate all of Cody’s allegations against her.
Is that what she wants? She backs down.
Once she leaves, Cody and Mac warn Cody he’s inches from a jail cell.
At Ferncliff, the nurse asks Sasha about what she’s been taking because nothing she’s on would cause the reaction she’s having.
Dr. Montague pokes in and says patients can have unusual reactions.
The nurse suspects she’s been getting unprescribed meds from somewhere so has ordered a blood test.
He appreciates her being conscientious but tells her to consult him in the future before ordering tests.
He says she had a complete breakdown.
The nurse says it seems more like she’s stoned that psychotic. Montague sends her away.
Sasha doesn’t know what’s wrong with her and suspects she’s being given something.
He tells her she still has a drug problem and sends for a nurse.
He tells her that someone has been smuggling drugs in to Sasha and orders that the nurse assigned to her be re-assigned.
Once he’s alone with Sasha, he gives her another injection.
Sam sneaks into the hall and watches as a nurse checks on Sasha.
