Mon Oct 2 recap of B&B: Brooke thinks Taylor wants to blame Hope for everything, Thomas asks his mom to be happy for him, and Taylor questions Hope about her feelings.
Friday’s B&B recap: Taylor exploded in anger at Ridge and Brooke, then barged in on Hope and Thomas kissing while Deacon proposed to Sheila.
On his knees at Il Giardinao, Deacon tells Sheila that reason is overrated. He’s done with that and won’t live without her.
“Marry me?” he asks, offering her a rose.
She’s confused.
They just broke up.
He knows this is impulsive and confusing, but it’s real and he means every word.
He wants to marry her.
She lets him stand and says he has no idea what all of this means to her… but she loves him too much to let him jeopardize everything for her.
Deacon looks heartbroken and says this doesn’t jive.
She reminds him of all being with her could cost him.
Why would he throw that away?
He knows she’s trying to protect him but he doesn’t need protection, he needs her.
“I’m bad Deacon,” she says, turning away.
Holding her, he says he sees something different and people can change.
She can too. He can see that inside her.
That could all start with one little world.
She wishes she could say “Yes” and she could see what he sees.
He urges her to take a leap of faith.
Sheila worries that she’s beyond redemption but he refuses to believe that.
He’s willing to risk everything for her.
After all these years, he’s finally met his match, someone who knows everything about him.
He wants to stand up for her and cherish her until his dying day.
He’ll be damned if he’ll live his life without her.
She finally agrees.
He spins her around and they kiss.

Daily B&B spoilers into October
In his office at Forrester Creations, Taylor tells her son that his involvement with Hope is not good for him.
She’s her mother’s daughter and could be targeting him as a Forrester.
This isn’t about genetics: it’s about power.
He insists that Hope is nothing like her mother and isn’t targeting him.
Taylor isn’t so sure about this.
She reminds him he was obsessed with Hope.
He insists he’s changed.
His mom says that’s a process and she loves him and the man he’s becoming.
Thomas says Hope is part of that.
The doctor knows how much pain that love has caused him.
Does she feel the same way about him?
He squints and then explains it’s inevitable that they get together because she left Liam.
His mom remains skeptical but he insists that he and Hope know what they are doing.
He asks her to be happy for him so she gives him a hug and looks worried.
Thomas has to get to a conference call and asks her not to worry.
Taylor worries.
In the main office, Hope is not thrilled that Ridge and Brooke told Taylor about her and Thomas.
Ridge defends Taylor’s suspicions it’s not a healthy relationship and Brooke refuses to let Taylor blame her daughter for anything.
Hope rolls her eyes as her mom complains about Taylor and worries the doctor will try to blame her and control the situation.
Ridge asks Hope if she’s leading his son on. Brooke groans.
Hope insists they are both on the same page, share a son, and he really cares about her and only her.
They’re adults and can make their own decisions.
Hope walks into Thomas’ office and finds Taylor there.
That’s awkward.
The doctor starts grilling her, pointing out that she knows Thomas loves her.
She asks if she understands he expects a future with her.
Taylor wonders if this is just a late phase where she needs the bad boy for a moment.
But if she doesn’t want a life with him, he needs to know now.
Hope understands her concerns and says Thomas knows where he stands.
Right now, she’s trying to figure out who she is and what she wants.
She admits she may be insecure about Liam and Steffy, but that’s not why her marriage ended.
The marriage ended because she took issue with Lima being in love with two women.
She’s sure Taylor can understand how great it is to be with a man who only has eyes for her.
There are no expectations and they are enjoying their time together.
If she wants to accuse her of becoming like her mother, maybe she’s right.
Hope walks out.
Taylor has to take a deep breath.
Brooke shows up.
Taylor tells her that her daughter thinks she may be turning into the younger version of her.
