General Hospital recap for Wednesday, November 2, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Drew tells Carly why they can’t go public, Joss and Trina discuss their love lives, and Cody and Britt have a meal with Liesl and Scott.
We also have Tuesday’s GH recap where Jeff confessed his affair with Reiko and admitted Liz pushed her down the stairs, and Holly betrayed Robert.
At Liz’s parents’ place, Carolyn says it’s time she knows the truth.
Jeff explains that Liz is the one who caused Reiko to fall down the stairs.
Liz refuses to believe it or anything else they say.
Carolyn says that her accusations hurt. Liz accuses her of gas-lighting her to protect a man. Jeff explains Liz catching him with Reiko and her following Reiko to the stairs.
Liz doesn’t want to listen but it’s all coming back to her.
She flashes back to confronting her at the top of the steps and telling her that she’s not special.
When she threatened to expose her to Finn, they wrestled, and Reiko fell down the stairs.
Liz feels guilty but her father says it must have been an accident.
Reiko suffered a concussion and had internal bleeding.
That’s when Jeff confessed everything to his wife.
After the fall, Reiko needed a blood transfusion and that’s how she contracted the disease that killed her.
Liz blames herself again. Her mom explains that she had nightmares and sleepwalked until she coached her into forgetting the whole event.
They sent her away because they were afraid it would all come back. They didn’t abandon her. It was better to lose their connection to her than lose her forever.
Liz accuses them of drugging and programming her to protect their reputations and then storms out.
Sam and Carly are sitting in the square. Carly explains that she and Drew realized something important.
Drew swans in and wants to break the news himself.
He tells her they came back with a renewed sense of purpose after fighting with local politicians.
He leads Carly away as Spinelli shows up.
Sam says she’s waiting for someone to tell her something she already knows.
She asks her friend if he has decided to end Society Set-Ups before the Feds come after her.
He dreads the possibility of Maxie learning what he did.
They flip the topic to Cody, Britt, and the necklace. She demands that he help her get the goods on Cody using his algorithm.
Shouldn’t they know what he’s up to given that he may be part of Georgie’s family?
Across the square, Drew tells Carly she can’t tell Sam about them.
In fact, they can’t tell anyone.
He assures her that he hasn’t changed his mind about them.
He had a bad fight with Ned, who pointed out that they could be guilty of insider trading.
If that comes out, they could be fined or go to jail.
She’s frustrated and wonders if Ned would really go to the SCC.
Drew says it’s dicey and they can’t go public while it could add weight to this.
He doesn’t want to stay away from her but he does want to keep her out of jail.
At Charlie’s, Obrecht warns Britt that anything touched by Peter is tainted.
Britt explains that Peter left her a necklace worth millions.
Scott isn’t thrilled when Cody walks in to join them. Britt orders him to play nice.
Liesl isn’t happy either and leads her daughter away.
Obrecht wonders why she is excusing the man who punched Scott.
Britt says he’s been going through a lot and there’s more to him than appears.
Liesl asks if she’s shared her diagnosis with Cody.
Britt has kept that private but admits that she likes the guy.
Back at the table, Cody thanks Scott for not pressing charges after he punches him.
The lawyer wonders what he’s after.
Cody wants a do-over because he’s important to
Britt’s mom and Britt is important to him.
Plus, he knows how much he loved his biological mother.
Scott offers to tell him more about his family.
Britt and Liesl return and the topic changes to Lucy. Scott says she will be fine. Cody offers to dive for her.
When Obrecht asks how he knows the necklace was authentic, she’s not impressed by his answer.
Britt assures her mom she’s having Sam investigate it.
Cody confirms for Liesl that he will be sticking around town for now.
Scott tells her that he may be Mac’s son. Bell admits that may be a compelling reason to stay.
He looks over at Britt.
As Cody tells rodeo stories, Britt starts coughing violently.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
In her office at The Invader, Alexis calls Jordan after she finds a letter from The Hook.
Jordan and Dante immediately show up.
Dante reads the threatening letter, which says that only those that wronged them will be harmed.
It is postmarked from two weeks ago and seems to have been typed on an old typewriter.
It contains details that haven’t been made public so it’s likely real.
The only thing Jordan will confirm is that it’s unlikely the killings are random.
She tells Alexis not to publish the letter.
Alexis tries to justify it but they point out it could only make things worse.
Jordan offers to give her an exclusive if she agrees to sit on the letter.
As the cops leave, Jordan tells Alexis again not to say a word to anyone.
Once they are gone, Alexis immediately calls Gregory over.
When he arrives, she tells him about the response to their open letter. She shows him the copy she made.
She plans to sit on the story as Jordan requested.
Gregory wonders what she will do if the commissioner doesn’t honor their agreement. He worries this could have big blowback.
Trina joins Joss at the Corinthos compound.
They quiz each other about their weekends.
Trina claps when her friend says she slept with Cam again. Joss says being close to him is nice but sleeping together wasn’t a magic fix for what she hasn’t been feeling.
She’s not sure Cam is aware of all the distance between them. Her friend suggests she talk to him about it.
Joss thinks she didn’t get the chance to enjoy being with Cam before it got derailed.
Trina suggests she just needs more time to heal.
She shouldn’t let Esme destroy what she has with Cam.
They continue venting about Esme.
Joss can’t blame her for everything that’s gone on between her and Cam.
They kept things from each other, and she doesn’t know how to move on.
Trina can’t imagine Cam ever giving up on her.
Joss asks about her weekend with Rory. Her friend admits they go closer.
Trina explains they made out and she thought she was ready for more but then they stopped because she kept thinking about Spencer.
She looks for excuses.
Joss points out she obviously still has feelings for him.
Leaping up, Trina complains about Spencer’s flaws. Joss says she visited him and all he did was talk about her.
Despite everything, she believes he has a good heart.
That doesn’t mean he deserves her.
Trina decides to put her energy into the good guy in front of her, just like Joss has.
They talk about Oscar. It was good to remember him but life goes on.
Jordan shows up to speak to them.
Outside, Drew walks Carly home.
They kiss and she heads inside.
Inside, Jordan is informing Joss and Trina that Brando was not an intended victim, Joss was.
All the victims have been connected to Trina.
