Thursday, August 17 GH recap: Finn and Liz have another date, Molly tells her family about the surrogacy plan, and Gregory falls while looking after Violet.
Wednesday’s GH recap: Selina was rebuffed trying to buy The Savoy, Gladys demanded Cody be arrested after he threatened her, and Sam snuck into Ferncliff.
In the interrogation room at the PCPD, Cody keeps freaking out about Gladys and complaining that they aren’t doing anything about her.
They tell him to chill out and he starts throwing things.
Mac threatens to put him in a cell if he doesn’t calm down.
As Cody cleans up, Mac takes Dante out and tells him to get his friend in line. Dante assures him he’s got this.
He returns to Cody and asks if he’s trying to get arrested. Cody rants about Gladys.
The cop has heard it before. His friend is sure that Gladys is doing something to Sasha.
The cop points out he’s put the law on Gladys’ side. Cody keeps threatening Gladys but Dante doesn’t buy it.
He knows he would never be violent to a woman.
Cody plays dumb but his friend is sure this is all an act to get committed so he can rescue Sasha.
The cop says something is wrong with Sasha and she’s getting help.
The cowboy keeps playing up and his friend warns that he is only going to get himself into trouble.
He reminds him the restraining order is real and suggests he be careful. Cody marches out.
Violet is happy to answer the door to Liz.
She’s there to pick Finn up for the night.
Gregory arrives to babysit and Violet gives Liz a hug.
The doctor and nurse exit. Violet tells her grandpa she has a great idea.
They sit down and start doing bracelets. He has a hard time handling the beads.
When she runs off to get some clasps, he falls over.
Violet returns and he claims he just tripped over a bead. She wonders if they should call her father but he says they don’t need to bother him.
She’s also noticed his fingers “acting funny” and offers him some ice.
He just needs to spend time with her.
BLQ takes Tracy to the Metro Court pool. It has been set up for a Hawaii theme night.
She’s not happy to be handed a withered flower necklace. Sitting Tracy grimaces about the “wasteland of kitsch.”
BLQ gets them drinks and explains she needed to get her out of the house to give everyone else a break.
Tracy doesn’t care about anyone’s opinions and only wants to talk about their project at Deception.
Her granddaughter gets her another drink, careful to get a double for Tracy and a virgin for herself.
As they continue drinking, Tracy brings up Deception again and BLQ says she’s like a “rabid dog with a bone.”
Tracy gets maudlin about Luke and then says Deception gives her something to focus on because she can’t believe Luke is gone.
They were perfectly matched and he was so funny. He was never boring.
Soon, Tracy is drunk and BLQ wants to take her out of the “pineapple purgatory.” Tracy calls for a ukelele.
Finn and Liz arrive and he assures her this is not his first luau.
He says nothing he has seen on his travels has been as beautiful as her tonight.
They get a table and eat. He keeps staring at her. They’re glad to see each other happy.
Being with her for the past few weeks have been wonderful. He wonders what has changed.
She tells him she’s been cleansed and he was there for that.
She worried about making a mistake to push him away but realized she’s been too careful.
Mac joins Felicia and tells her what happened at the PCPD with Cody.
He senses that she has been involved in some scheme.
She loves being a grandma but that’s not full-time and there is more she’d like to do.
She wants to help out at the station. He’s sure she’d be a great asset, but… He suggests she work at the hospital if she wants to help the community.
On their way out, Tracy and BLQ stop by and Tracy suggests Felicia call the fire twirler over to warm up “chilly willy.”
As she stumbles, Tracy tells BLQ she still owes her.
She wants Deception, lock, stock and barrel.
Finn heads home. He tells his father how great the date was and how perfect everything seemed.
It was like they had no secrets or boundaries.
His father encourages him to hold onto what he has with her. It gives him peace to know his son’s have love in their lives.
Finn goes to check on Violet. She informs him that Gregory fell and scared her.
He returns to his father, who is struggling with clearing up the beads.
He claims he’s tired. His son asks why he fell.
Gregory admits there’s something awful.

General Hospital’s comings and goings
Kristina shows up at General Hospital to see Dr. Randolph.
She tells TJ she wants Terry on board to give her insights to help kids.
He thinks Terry would be a great addition.
Kristina hopes she has time and runs off.
Later, Kristina returns and tells TJ the meeting went well. It was productive.
He assumes it was worth sacrificing the sushi party. “What?” she asks.
Jordan is at Molly’s with Alexis.
They chat about her work in the mayor’s office.
She’ll be relieved when Laura returns.
Molly announces the food is on the way and Sam arrives.
When Molly announces there is family news, Sam asks if someone is missing.
Molly explains that TJ is on call so she is telling them their fantastic news. They found their surrogate.
Alexis and Sam don’t look enthusiastic. This seems soon. Molly explains they signed up with a service and did all the interviews yesterday.
She tells them all about the lady they chose and the background checks they’ve done. She’s willing to start the process right away.
A sushi delivery arrives. As they sit to eat, Molly tells them that TJ has been involved every step of the way and they are ready in every respect.
Jordan and Molly talk about the plan and she encourages her to go ahead if she’s sure she’s ready.
On their way out, Alexis and Jordan also wish her well and want to hear more later.
Once they are gone, Molly declares that went well.
She tells Sam what a great mom she is and asks if she will be the baby’s godmother.
Her sister would be honored.
Kristina shows up. “I heard you had a party and I wasn’t invited,” she says, requesting time alone with Molly.
“How could you?” she asks after Sam exits.
Jordan and Alexis get coffee. They realize this surrogacy may be happening too quickly.
Also, they know that they are mature and together and will figure this out. Jordan wonders where Kristina was.
Alexis stumbles through an excuse and Jordan says it’s wonderful the sisters are so close.
