General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 21, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Jordan and Portia share a moment, Chase has a concussion, and Curtis catches his father trying to leave town as Leo is welcomed into the Quartermaine family.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Cameron and Spencer were released from jail and Marshall told Epiphany he was leaving Port Charles.
Curtis has shut down The Savoy and the crew is cleaning up when Jordan appears. She comments that it must have been a hell of a party last night. Before they get into it, Selina shows up. Jordan’s surprised when Curtis says they’ve a meeting.
Selina lies that she has a family party coming and wants to rent out the bar.
She goes to sit at a table while Jordan warns him not to let that happen. She goes and Selina asks if his ex-wife will always hang around. Curtis reminds her that her event was a success.
She got what she wanted… She pulls out his father’s file. She hasn’t read it but advises that once he crosses the line and reads the file, “There’s no going back.” Curtis reads the file and looks shocked at what he finds.
Trina finds Marshall at the pier with a bag. He reveals he’s getting out of town. That sounds good to her. With all of her issues, she’d like to get away. Marshall has faith in her. It’ll work out. She needs to stay strong.
Trina thanks him and asks how long he’ll be away. When he doesn’t respond, she realizes he’s leaving permanently. She encourages him to talk and he admits it was foolish to try to reunite with his family when he has so many ghosts.
She thinks he should stick it out. He refuses and she’s unable to change his mind. The boat arrives and he tells her it’s been a privilege getting to know her. They part ways.
At the Quartermaine house, Ned proudly tells family that Leo’s adoption went through.
They all drink to Leo Quartermaine. Carly comments that it’s too bad Monica couldn’t be here. She’s at a convention.
Sam tells her things between her and Dante aren’t great as he wanders off to get a drink. Carly’s sorry she put her in that position but Sam takes responsibility for her actions.
She mentions how Harmony said something strange to her and flashes to how she told Harmony she was being nice to her because Willow’s family and that Harmony said, “I wish she was mine.”
She decides not to say anything when Willow pokes her head in. They tell her about her mom drinking. This shocks her.
She can’t remember when she last saw that and worries. Carly thinks Harmony’s having a tough time because of the case. She privately takes off to see Harmony, while Sam goes to Dante with an apology. He thinks he was harder on her than necessary. They make up, profess their love and kiss.
Elsewhere, Leo talks about marine biology and asks where Chase is. Brook Lynn has no idea. She calls him but he doesn’t answer.
Olivia and Ned appear. They discuss Leo’s theatre therapy for his Autism. Leo loves it and will be reciting a poem for the show.
Olivia urges him to give the family a sneak peek. He reluctantly takes off. Ned, Drew and Michael talk about the possibility of ELQ and Aurora merging. Drew would have the overwhelming majority of the company and Ned asks where that leaves him.
Drew asks to drop it until after the party. Olivia introduces Leo to the Qs. Brook Lynn calls them loud and crazy. When Olivia asks the kid to recite his poem, he yells, “No,” and runs off. They follow him and can’t reach him so Ned takes off after his son.
Harmony rushes downstairs and finds her bag with Neil’s file inside. She closes the bag when Alexis turns up. She asks what happened last night to make her get so drunk. Harmony covers that she’s concerned about Nina taking Willow to court.
Alexis tells her about Smoltz’s story and his interest in doing a deeper dive into Willow’s background. Harmony freaks out and refuses to let the article go live at all, citing that someone will learn Willow’s not her biological child.
Alexis urges Harmony to tell her, and vows to ensure that information stays private. Harmony demands she kill the story and reminds her of all she’s done for Alexis. Alexis thinks it’s time to reevaluate their arrangement. She takes off for work and Harmony smashes a vase in anger. She throws the files in the fireplace but can’t find matches so heads downstairs.
Meanwhile, Carly turns up outside and since Harmony’s car is in the driveway, she lets herself in just in time to see Harmony with a match to the files.
Chase dresses in his hospital room and finds his cell phone broken. Portia appears. He tells her he has somewhere to be but she needs to sign off on it first.
Liz arrives at the hospital. She checked on Cameron and says if he wasn’t already 18, she’d ground him forever. They talk about Chase being awake and alert after his concussion. They wonder if the person who is stalking her family has become violent or if this was an accident.
They head to see Chase who tells him he’s not sure if he was hit or fell. He tells them what went down with Aiden using the Ouija board to attempt contact with Franco.
Sam’s disturbed but Finn thinks it’s easier for him to thinks Franco’s ghost is reaching out rather than accepting someone’s breaking into her house.
Jordan finds Portia at GH. She’s looking for Chase. Portia directs her to his room and then apologizes for her behavior yesterday. They discuss how good of a heart Trina has and Jordan’s rooting for her. They share a moment when Jordan says she’s just like her mom.
Jordan goes to Chase’s room with concerns that someone broke into Liz’s house. She’s told that there are cameras all over the house that should be of help.
Jordan asks Chase to stay away from the scene for now. They all take off and Portia releases him. He asks if she has Brook Lynn’s phone number. His phone was crushed and he wants to let her know why he couldn’t show up today. He opens up about how they’re on shaky ground.

At Liz’s house, Jordan looks over the scene, where they find the statue on the floor that was beside his head. She asks Liz to download the footage for her. Liz goes to do that and notices the Ouija board. She’s hard on herself for missing that. Finn’s supportive. The three of them look at the footage. The video goes dark when Chase reaches for it and Jordan says that the file must be corrupted.
Trina arrives at The Savoy and tells Curtis that she found his father at the pier with a bag. “He said he’s leaving town.”
Chase turns up at the Q house with flowers. Brook Lynn tries to remain miffed with him but can’t contain a smile.
Curtis shows up at the pier before Marshall leaves town and confronts him.
