General Hospital recap for Monday, April 25, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Michael disowns Sonny, Aiden thinks Franco attacked Chase, Chase and Brook Lynn keep getting interrupted, and Diane gives Alexis some advice.
We also have Friday’s GH recap where Carly caught Harmony trying to burn files.
Chase stops by the Quartermaine house with flowers for Brook Lynn. He apologizes for being late. She tells him he missed Leo’s party so he explains that he was knocked out cold. She panics, rushes to him, and they nearly kiss.
Michael interrupts, eager to talk about ELQ. He explains that he and Drew are going to merge the company with Aurora to undermine Valentin’s position. He wants her to convince Ned this is a good idea.
After he takes off, they sit down and get nostalgic about faking to be parents. He hates that he hurt her when he trashed her to Dante. She admits some of the things he said hurt because they were true.
Chase tells her she is someone he can count on. He gets her. As they are about to kiss again, Leo interrupts and demands to know why he missed his party. Chase explains he wanted to be there but he had to help a friend.
They talk about his party and Leo getting stage fright when he was asked to perform a poem. Chase gives him advice and the kid reminds him of how they used to sing Brook Lynn’s songs together.
Leo recites his poem for Chase.
At the guest house, Sonny tells Willow he wants a favor. His son is angry and lashing out. He’s hoping she can convince his son that he still loves him. Michael interrupts.
Sonny tells his son that he wants them to move forward. His son tells him not to make his case to Willow, to make it to him. Shuffling around, Sonny tells him how important their relationship is.
Snorting Michael tells him that it’s classic of him to act like none of this is his fault. He lectures him for dropping Carly for Nina. His father insists that he tried to work things out but Carly filed for divorce.
Michael points out he slept with Nina. His father accuses him of acting like a child and reminds him he caught Carly in bed with Jax a few years ago. They bicker about this and Sonny asks him to meet him halfway.
“I don’t want to see you anymore. From this point on, I want nothing to do with you,” Michael declares. His father urges him to rethink that but it’s not going to happen. Michael was going to change his name but has decided to keep Corinthos to erase his father’s memory.
Sonny tells him he will always love him but he won’t forget this. “If you want me to forgive, you are going to have to beg,” he warns. His son tells him not to hold his breath.
At Liz’s place, Finn and Jordan are sure something serious is going on given that the video evidence they were collecting has been destroyed. This must have been the work of the stalker. Or a ghost, Liz adds.
Jordan calls her team and they are running diagnostics on the surveillance feed. Liz hasn’t been able to remember anything else that could be useful. The cop points out that this seems to have been highly planned. It looks like the intruder doesn’t want to harm anyone.
After Jordan gets the report back, she explains that the feeds were jammed.
Once the cop leaves, Finn tells Liz she needs to move out of this house. Aiden shows up and says that Franco must have been behind the attack on Chase. The doctor wonders why he would want to scare them like that. It’s probably someone alive.
Liz tells her son to grab some clothes to go and stay with Laura. Finn holds her, assuring her that Aiden will figure this out and it has nothing to do with ghosts.

The latest GH casting news – Alexis temporarily recast
Curtis corners Marshall on the pier. He has his sealed arrest record. He’s discovered what drove him away was not some extreme life changing incident at all. His father is appalled that he broke the law to get a file he has no right to see.
Curtis feels like he had no choice. He thought that Marshall might have enemies who could put the family in danger. The truth doesn’t justify him ghosting his family. He was arrested in a protest that got out of control and he was put in a mental hospital for treatment.
There was no diagnosis. He’s sure that it must have been torturous, but it’s still no excuse for him walking out on his family. Marshall insists he gave them a gift by vanishing from their lives. The real mistake was coming back.
Curtis is not okay with anything he has done, but would rather have him alive than dead. He wants this to be a new start for them. When he asks what happened in the hospital, Marshall tells him to look in the file because he’s not getting any answers from him.
Diane interrupts Alexis in her office. The editor admits she’s been mulling over whether or not to kill Smoltz’s feature on Nina. Diane doesn’t know why she would even think of doing that. After all, it wouldn’t be good for her clients, Michael and Willow.
Alexis explains that Harmony has begged her to drop the story. The lawyer thinks she should kick Harmony’s keister to the curb. Her friend has already asked her to move out. She’s decided to cut the feature and then cuts ties with her.
Diane reminds her of what happened the last time she went against her instincts to support someone. Alexis remembers it ruined everything with Neil. Her friend urges her not to sabotage herself.
Giving in, Alexis agrees to run the feature, but wonders what to do about Harmony. Her friend reminds her that Harmony is troubled and it’s not her job to fix her. Alexis still wants to help her. The lawyer tells her to pay some rent.
At Alexis’ place, Harmony is trying to burn her files. As she searches for matches, Carly shows up at the door. After seeing Harmony’s car, she lets herself in. Harmony claims she is just burning old tax records.
Stepping in Carly, asks what’s really going on between her and Nina. She asks if Reeves is blackmailing her. That gives Harmony a chuckle. Carly asks about her relationship with Nina back when she was a caregiver.
Harmony explains that she vaguely knew Madeline and she can understand Nina feeling deprived of her child. Carly asks about her slipping up and saying that she felt like Willow wasn’t hers. Harmony tries brushing that off as a metaphor.
As soon as she steps out of the room, Carly looks in what remains of the file and guesses what it contains. When she starts poking around in the fire, she sees they are Neil’s files. Harmony returns with a syringe.
Carly assumes the papers prove Willow is not her biological daughter. Harmony tries to stab her with the needle and they begin struggling on the floor.
Later, when Alexis arrives. She finds the place empty and a mess. She tries calling Harmony but has no luck. However, she does find parts of the file that were left in the fireplace. When Diane calls, Alexis tells her Harmony is having some kind of breakdown.
Harmony sits in her car on the cliffs with Carly in the trunk.
