Weds Dec 20: Today on Young and Restless, Tucker tries to get Devon to invite him for Christmas, Ashley admits she feels sorry for Tucker, Summer yells at Tucker to stay away from her mother, and the Christmas tree trimming commences.
Tuesday’s recap: Disguised Jordan Sneaks Into Claire’s Room, Victor Seems Suspicious of Nikki For a Moment, and Jack Learns Kyle’s Been Spying on Tucker

Traci, Jack and Diane get into decorating the Christmas tree at the Abbott mansion.
Jack was hoping Allie could hang her mother’s ornament but she’s in London with Noah.
Harrison and Kyle get home.
There are hugs all around. Harrison, with Kyle’s help, dangles mistletoe over his grandparents’ heads and they kiss.
Traci talks about the love in their family getting stronger with each passing year.
Traci and Harrison and Jack go look at the tree while Diane’s sorry that this is Kyle’s first Christmas without Summer.
Kyle shrugs it off and they join the others in trimming the tree.
They think Harrison needs a personalized ornament with a short form of his name. Harry. Kyle gets a text from Tucker who asks if there’s been progress. He drags Jack outside.
Ashley, Abby and Devon are at Athletic Club dining.
Ashley says she loves Christmas.
She wants to get Dominic a pony.
Devon laughs. While Abby doesn’t want him spoiled, Devon’s all in.
They invite her to Christmas at the Chancellor estate. It’ll be their first Christmas together as a family. She asks if they’ve made plans with Tucker.
Devon reassures that he won’t be an issue. He toddles off to take a call and Ashley says it’s such a gift to see her and Devon so in love.
Ashley defends Tucker for being a good grandfather. Abby also points out that he lies constantly.
Ashley thinks it’s a shame since Tucker had it all.
Abby hopes she’s not feeling sorry for him. Ashley says they’ve almost got him where they want him.
She then admits that she hates that she cares but promises she won’t reunite with the man. Tucker burned those bridges in Paris.
Tucker strolls into his room with a package, singing to himself.
“Labadaba dais…yebbidai…dee dee dee…” He opens the package which is fiilled with gifts for Dominic.
He holds up a t-shirt with “Grandpa’s little rock star,” writing across it, a tambourine and some other presents.
Phyllis arrives at Society and smiles as she watches Summer and Chance having a ball together, laughing.
She stands there, gawping while Summer laughs that she got Chance dancing.
They flashback to the Say Jump concert that they went to and to dancing together.
Phyllis finally approaches and they tell her all about it and how they got autographs.
Phyllis puts on a sweet voice and asks if everything is okay since Chance says Sharon wouldn’t go with him.
Summer assures Sharon’s fine and Chance has to go to a meeting.
Phyllis heard about his job. Chance thanks Summer again and goes. Phyllis smiles, knowingly and Summer tells her to cut it out.
Summer shuts her down and says she’s missing Harrison and doing all of the Christmassy things they usually do.
She wishes she didn’t feel “this way” about Chance but she doesn’t have to act on it.
Phyllis tells her about Tucker’s job offer.
It was a great job to be head of IT at his new company.
She talks it up and says it’s nice that her talent is appreciated.
She admits he’s offering her quadruple her salary but she’s not considering taking the job.
Summer sniffs that her mom obviously wants the job and her blessing.
Phyllis says nobody’s given her respect. Summer thinks she needs to break down the reasons why she shouldn’t take the job. She hates Tucker, he’s going after the Abbotts.
The money is basically a bribe and if she leaves Omegasphere, she’ll break Daniel’s heart. What it comes down to is trust. If Phyllis takes the job, she can’t trust her again.
At Chancellor Winters, Nate and Mamie talk about how ugly it was last time he was there.
She’s in his corner, knowing he’s found his priorities.
Mamie knows his trial basis will change fast. He brings up partnering with Tucker and how problematic it was for her.
She’s done with that and has one agenda.
Jill out of their business. Billy pokes his head in.
“I’m here to make sure you don’t succeed.”
He’s setting up shop there in Lily’s office.
They’re confused so he fills them in. “I’m back.”
Mamie realizes he’s full of surprises.
Billy’s co-CEO with Devon for the time being, filling in with Lily.
Mamie hopes he settles in fast and thinks Jill must be thrilled.
Billy hopes that Nate’s personal issues won’t cause problems there.
Nate refuses to defend himself to Billy. Lily and Devon trust him enough to bring him back.
Billy reminds Nate he’s his boss and it matters to him.
Mamie brings the men back to worrying more about Tucker. They should stop squabbling.
Billy agrees and decides to give Nate the benefit of the doubt.
He has an appointment and allows them to hang in his office until he returns.
Once he’s gone, Mamie laughs that she has Jill Abbott running scared.
Nate cautions her against starting a power play at the company.

Back at the Athletic Club by the stairs, Devon completes his call and runs into his father.
Tucker hopes he’ll see him at Christmas.
He has toys he’d like to drop off but Devon isn’t sure that’s a good idea.
He quickly relents and says to drop them off. Tucker asks if they can spend Christmas Eve together.
Devon says no. There’s no time for drama or agendas. Tucker says it’s fine.
They have a fine figgy pudding there.
Devon says he’s not getting a pity invite. This is all on him. Tucker knows.
Devon goes back to thee table and fills the ladies in. Ashley defends Tucker.
In their coats, the men talk about giving Tucker false information.
Jack pats his son on the back for showing courage.
He has regrets about letting Kyle go in the first place.
He’s incredibly proud of his son. Kyle beams.
He leaves Tucker a message and Jack says that’s enough. Today is for family.
He still has to act like the disgruntled son. Ashley interrupts with brightly coloured packages and they head inside.
Ashley gets a cookie from Harrison and tells him Santa is getting him everything on his list.
Kyle cringes and she apologizes and goes to hang her angel ornament that John said looked like her.
Jack and Traci mock her and they continue trimming the tree.
Chance meets with Billy at Crimson Lights. He’s there to get him on his feet.
He’ll have a corner office in no time if Jill has her way.
Chance doesn’t want special treatment. When Billy says he’ll be his mentor, Chance refuses.
Billy reminds him he has no experience in the corporate world and Chance says he’s heard not-so-great things about his own time in the corporate world.
How is he going to help him?
Tucker comes into SOciety and Summer thinks Phylis is meeting him. She denies it. She didn’t know he’d be coming.
Summer gets up and tells Tucker to stay away from her mother. She doesn’t want to work with her.
She leaves and Phyllis apologizes. She agrees with Summer though.
She’ll never work with him. He grins.
