General Hospital recap for Friday, August 26, 2022. In today’s GH episode, Anna pressures Lucy to get closer to Victor, Terri and Yuri flirt at the pool, and Liz refuses Finn’s help before hallucinating again.
We also have Thursday’s GH recap where Victor threatened Ava, a fire broke out, and Spencer learned Nikolas slept with Esme.
Anna and Mac wander around the barbecue on the Quartermaine estate. They recall her wedding to Robert as Lucy and Felicia arrive.
They fill Mac in on Cody being Dominique’s son. This is a surprise to all of them. Lucy has already warned Serena to stay away until she learns more about Cody.
After Mac and Felicia stalk off to find Cody, Anna prods Lucy to exploit Victor’s attraction to her to get any information she can about Valentin. Lucy refuses so Anna threatens Martin again.
Pulling away from Nikolas’ kiss, Ava tells him it’s too late. He broke them the moment he had sex with Esme. Turning around, they see Spencer is there.
Ava tells him that his father betrayed her with his girlfriend. Choked up, Spencer demands to know everything.
He begs his father to tell him it’s not true. Nikolas admits it.
Ava is about to walk away but her husband tells her to stay and watch his relationship with his son be destroyed. He’s sure that’s what she’s always wanted since she failed so badly with Kiki.
Ava slaps him and stomps out. In tears, Spencer says he doesn’t understand. He demands to know when this started.
His father says it was a mistake that only happened once. He thought they were broken up and Spencer had accepted Ava’s monetary rewards rather than siding with him.
Spencer could understand him doing this if he was trying to hurt him, but he actually wasn’t thinking about him at all.
Nikolas didn’t want to hurt him. His son accuses him of many betrayals, accusing him of being sick. The prince meant everything to him, but not anymore.
Spencer claims everything he has done has been to get closer to him. Every step has only seemed to drive him away. Now there is no closing the gap.
“I’m done with you,” Spencer declares, walking away.

Kelly Thiebaud exits and the latest GH comings and goings
Britt bumps into Austin and he tells her that her boy toy is trying to poach his girlfriend. They interrupt them at the grill. Cody and Britt walk off to get supplies.
As Maxie and Austin talk barbecuing, Mason interrupts. The doctor suggests that Maxie get a food order from her parents. When she leaves, Mason reminds his cousin that he has obligations to fulfill.
Austin says his debt has been paid. They bicker until Austin grabs him by the throat and threatens this pain will be fleeting compared to what happens if he doesn’t leave Maxie out of this. Mason grabs a knife and holds it to his throat.
Ava has been watching this and interrupts. They back down and she wanders off. Mason immediately stalks after her. Austin wants him to forget her, but he won’t.
Cody and Britt look for supplies but only find cheese. He asks if she has a nickname from her father. That makes her defensive. When he brings up her brother, that doesn’t go well either.
Mac and Felicia interrupt. They introduce themselves. As Mac stares, Felicia awkwardly explains they knew his mother. He adds he met her while she was married to Leopold.
Cody assures him he’s nothing like his father. Mac can see plenty of his mother in him.
Cody and Britt head into his place. He says Mac is a weird guy. They get back to bickering about her family. She says talking about them only makes it worse.
Taking the beer from her hand, he says they’ve had enough talking.
Back outside, Felicia asks Mac why he just lied to Cody. He says what he and Dominique had is ancient history. He sees no reason to add to Cody’s baggage.
Victor and Valentin are in the kitchen drinking. Victor needs his help getting the family back in order. He wants his son to step up and do his duty.
When Victor threatens to make Charlotte’s stay at the boarding school permanent, his son is outraged.
Lucy walks in on them. Victor turns on the charm and hands her his pickles. Valentin reminds them both about Martin. She says he’s out of town with his mother.
As Lucy pushes out her chest and sighs, Victor stares and Valentin takes a picture to send to his lawyer. She makes an excuse and takes off.
Victor asks his son if Anna is proving too hot to handle. His son claims he has her in hand. He gets him to delete the photo and walks off.
In the garden, Victor finds Spencer fighting with his father. After Spencer storms off, Victor asks what happened. “Ava happened,” Nikolas says.
Maxie and Anna play beanbag toss. Anna asks how working with Valentin is going and Maxie admits he seems distracted.
Lucy finds Anna and fills her in on all the tension between Victor and Valentin.
In the stable, Liz confronts Finn for trying to get in touch with Sara. He urges her not to turn away from the burden she’s carrying. She doesn’t want or need his help.
He tells her how much light she brings into his daughter’s life. It’s hard for him to ignore that Liz is in distress. Liz says that her burden is not his.
He’s sure she knows she has a problem. How are her boys struggling with this? Finn can’t turn a blind eye to her being in pain.
“You’re not my doctor! You’re not my anything,” she says, running off.
As she wanders the grounds, she notices there is blood all over her head and flashes back to threatening someone on the stairs when she was a kid.
Ava wanders down to the dock. Someone approaches her with a hook and drives it into her gut.
Yuri keeps Terri company by the pool. He tells her she’s better company than the Quartermaines. They cool their feet in the water and chat about the Qs.
He admires her necklace and she makes it clear she doesn’t have anyone in her life. She goes on about crystals and plays with it. When it falls in the pool, he dives in after it.
