After Ridge Gets in Deacon’s Face, Deacon Bursts in on Scissors-Wielding Sheila as Hope Thinks She Recognizes Her

In the Friday, August 26, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge barks at Deacon to stay away from Brooke, Brooke and Liam worry about Hope losing custody of Douglas, and all three sense something is off.

We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Donna warned Brooke that Taylor was taking her place and Hope walked in on Sheila at Deacon’s.

Alone, Brooke walks around her house looking at pictures of Ridge. She thinks about how the situation with Thomas is driving her further from her husband.

Liam wanders in, looking for Hope. Brooke explains she paid her father a visit. She fills him in on Douglas staying for another night at Eric’s.

They rehash the situation with Hope and her father and trying to balance things for Ridge’s benefit. Without Sheila to distract him, he can focus all his energy against Deacon.

Sitting down, they chat about the potential custody battle. He hopes it will be worked out before lawyers get involved. Brooke thinks that would be nice, but Thomas is already acting like he’s taking the kid.

She thinks Thomas wants to change Douglas into the heir apparent for the Forrester family. Brooke guesses that Steffy and Taylor are pushing for this.

They think that Douglas is part of Hope’s family and Beth is his sister. Liam hoped that things would get back to normal with Sheila out of the picture, “But it’s like hnnnh?”

Brooke guesses there’s something he’s not saying. He says Deacon is trying his best not to disappoint his daughter, but old habits are hard to break. There are people just waiting for him to slip up.

He hopes that doesn’t happen.

At Il Giardino, Deacon is annoyed when he unpacks an order and it’s wrong. Dude at the bar notices something is bothering him and wonders if it involves a woman.

Ridge stalks in and orders Deacon to stay away from Brooke. Dude clears off.

Deacon reminds the designer that he’s at work. Ridge confronts him about the photo that was posted and accuses him of being bad news. He orders him to steer clear.

When Ridge lectures him, Deacon sarcastically reminds him he’s hardly perfect. Everyone in the restaurant gasps when Ridge starts ranting at Deacon.

Ridge doesn’t want him anywhere near his family. “I don’t cause trouble. Trouble finds me,” Deacon says. “So now it’s trouble’s fault?” Ridge asks.

He accuses Sharpe of being just like Sheila and refusing to take responsibility for anything. He doesn’t want him near Hope’s life because he’s toxic.

Deacon says his daughter feels otherwise. Liam calls and asks if Hope is with him. Deacon abruptly gets off the phone and takes off.

Back at Brooke’s, Liam tells her that Deacon was a little weird on the phone. They wonder what Hope is doing.

Ridge shows up and they fill him in. Brooke is surprised that he went to see Deacon. He explains that Deacon took off as soon as they called him.

After he complains about Sharpe, he explains he went to see him because of the picture. It didn’t get physical. He just doesn’t want Deacon to harm her of Hope again.

Hope walks into Deacon’s place and finds Sheila, who keeps her back to the blonde. As Hope asks who she is, Sheila picks up some scissors and hides them behind her back.

When she turns, we see she is wearing her magical mask and wig. Hope keeps asking her questions. After they are greeted by silence, Hope guesses she knows who she is.

Deacon bursts in. Hope says she can’t believe what she’s seeing. He never told her he has a new woman in his life.

He and Sheila laugh uncomfortably. His daughter asks for an introduction. Deacon insists this was all random and unexpected. Hope introduces herself.

Putting on a Southern accent, Sheila introduces herself as Lena. Deacon claims they go way back. The longer Hope looks at her, the more familiar she seems.

“Do I know you?” she asks.
