General Hospital December Comings and Goings
Ryan Carnes is one of a few who returns for Bobbie Spencer — Jackie Zeman memorial.
Nicole Paggi steps in as Maxie
Nicole Paggi will be seen in the December 27 episode of General Hospital and the January 5 episode.
She’s stepping in for Kirsten Storms as Maxie Jones.
Texas-born Paggi debuted on television as Jennie Bradbury in Pasadena.
Since then, she’s been seen in CSI: Miami. Hope & Faith, and Glory Days to name a few.
Storms returned on December 28 briefly, but there is no word on when she will return permanently.
Bradford Anderson’s Spinelli returns to Port Charles With Enzo De Angelis & Lily Fisher
Folks will see Bradford Anderson and Enzo De Angelis and Lily Fisher at Christmas at Maxie’s place.
Carlos Arellano makes an appearance
Carlos Arellano will be on GH this week as a priest that Sonny (Maurice Benard) and family see at Christmas.
He first appears December 22.
Samira Izadifar portrays a fertility doctor
Samira Izadifar comes to GH as Dr. Belson who is a fertility doctor that TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) see when they reveal that Kristina will be come their surrogate. She will debut the week of December 18.
Ryan Carnes returns for Bobbie’s memorial
General Hospital is addressing what happened to Bobbie Spencer since Jackie Zeman died in May of 2023. Read to find out more about how the memorial will require tissues, to the adventure that comes after the memorial in January, 2024. Ryan Carnes is one of a few who are returning for this event. Bradford Anderson returns to GH on December 20.
He’ll be in scenes with Maxie (Kirsten Storms), (Georgie) Lily Fisher, and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) when Spin returns for the Christmas holidays, claiming his place was flooded and he needs a place to stay for a while.
Enzo De Angelis
Enzo De Angelis will be finally seen again as Aiden Spencer.
After all that talk about him baking, we’ll finally see him in action.
Aiden shares scenes with Liz (Rebecca Herbst) on December 20 when they bake Christmas cookies together.

Award-winning Alley Mills is back
Alley Mills, on the cusp of winning a Daytime Emmy last weekend, returns to General Hospital.
We’ll see Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) visiting Heather in prison on Friday, December 29.
Courtney Fulk takes over as Joss
Courtney Fulk is taking over temporarily for Eden McCoy, who needed personal time off since she lost her mother on November 6 to cancer.
Fulk will first be seen in the Monday, December 18 episode.
McCoy will be back soon.
Monica is back!
Fans have noted Leslie Charleson’s long absence from the ABC soap, complaining that she went to a medical conference a year ago and hasn’t been seen since.
Finally, the week of December 11, Charleson returns to General Hospital.
Monica will be seen in scenes with Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine). Take a peek at this promo video put out by the show.
Sounds to us as though the show will soon be telling the story of Bobbie’s (Jackie Zeman) untimely death.

The actress is recurring and the last time she graced our screens was August 21 when Monica called Olivia (Lisa LoCicero).

Medical leave?
Scarlett Fernandez is out temporarily at General Hospital as Charlotte.
She’s recovering from surgery to remove a non-ossifying fibroma from her ankle.
Fernandez said on Instagram, “Tyler the tumor has been evicted!”
There’s no word on whether she’ll have much time off from the surgery.

Cameron Mathison is out
Cameron Mathison is taking a break from General Hospital so that he can shoot a film. Drew has told Carly (Laura Wright) that he’s heading to Australia for a week.
The actor has collaborated with Great American Media and will be working on projects with them for some time so we may see Drew pop in and out of Port Charles. Read the post he created about this on Instagram.

Update! John J York is still on his open-ended medical leave, which started the week of November 13.
It will last 3-4 months.

Nicholas Alexander Chavez
Nicholas Alexander Chavez will be exiting General Hospital temporarily in order to star in the second season of Netflix’s anthology, Monster.
Chavez will portray one of the Menedez brothers
According to TV Line, “GH does not intend to bring in a new actor to portray Spencer while Chavez is away.” There is no start date for this project, considering the current writers’ strike has put a hold on things.
