Weds Dec 27: Today on Young and Restless, Michael and Lauren tease Christine about her relationship with Daniel, Devon gives Tucker a reality check about the scandal and Diane wants to step up her plan with Kyle.
Tuesday’s recap: Nikki Fights with Jordan and Claire Nearly Shoots Her Aunt Before the Cops Arrive to Arrest Her

Christine finds the Baldwins drinking coffee at Crimson Lights.
They note how happy she looks.
She’s snapped out of her issues with Paul and credits Danny for helping.
They tease that it’s much more than friendship and she seems embarrassed.
She details the time they’ve spent together.
The married couple are thrilled.
Danny finds Phyllis and Daniel dining at The Athletic Club.
He tells them it’s good to see his favorites.
Phyllis seems in a mood so Daniel gives them a moment. He has to go to work, anyway.
At the Abbott’s, Diane and Kyle read from the news about Tucker’s “deplorable behavior” in the statutory rape cover up.
They’re happy with how it was written and Diane worries their plan isn’t enough to stop Tucker for good.
She goes back to wanting Kyle to give him a supposedly stolen Jabot product to launch.
They talk at length about whether or not the man will keep coming after them.
Diane’s had enough of the man.
Tucker stops by Devon’s office at Chancellor Winters.
He wants to talk about the scandal.
He says what the singer did was horrifying and he is serving his time.
Devon says he didn’t stop the guy when he was on tour.
He could have prevented more trauma by speaking out.
Tucker tries to pawn it off on his team but Devon says he didn’t do anything to stop them.
Tucker knows and isn’t proud.
Devon snaps that he wouldn’t be proud of anything he’s been doing lately.
Tucker guarantees it won’t happen again but this doesn’t help Devon.
He’s regretting asking him to visit Dominic for Christmas.
Tucker calls his public and work personas different.
He loves both Devon and Dom.
They’re family. Devon says he can’t negotiate himself out of this.
They argue and Devon tells his father he lies constantly.
He’s tired of wondering what he’ll do next.
He asks if they can go no contact. Tucker’ sorry it’s come to this. So is Devon.
Tucker hopes they can talk when his son cools down but he refuses.
In her room at Athletic Club, Clarence (Brad Sanders, Clarence Report) reports on the statutory rape scandal on television.
Audra watches, cringing.
She learns they’re talking a class action suit and others were implicated “big time.”
He says he’ll be pouring and spilling all the tea.
Audra holds her head in her hands, upset to hear she might be outed.
Back at Crimson Lights, the mood sinks when Daniel turns up to tell them that Phyllis wants a private moment alone with Danny.
Michael asks if they should be worried and Christine frowns.
Lauren seems concerned and Christine asks what’s so important.
Daniel thinks she has rekindled feelings for Danny. “Of course,” Christine says.
Daniel thinks she’s turning it into a weird competition.
Lauren loves Phyllis but this is what she does.
Christine thinks this is more about her than Danny.
Lauren agrees, the timing is suspect.
At Daniel’s condo, Danny asks Phyllis to forgo the small talk and tell him what’s going on.
She grabs him in a kiss. Danny kisses her back.
They make out for a while and he finally pulls away to ask what she’s doing.
She says she’s doing what he wants her to do.
There’s something unexpected between them but it makes sense.
“Phyllis,” he says… she likes the warmth between them and likes it. She knows he likes it too.
He can’t deny there’s a change in their dynamic.
It’s because they’re getting along as parents and friends.
He gets how it might seem like more. Phyllis frowns.
She’s felt friendship and this isn’t it. He says they can’t erase their history.
She knows and asks if he wants it to be better.
He sees she’s changed and he’s proud of her.
She’s grateful. He inspires her.
Danny calls her gorgeous and great but whatever is going on between them isn’t going where she wants.
She asks why not.
What do they have to lose?
She kisses him and he kisses her back and then wraps his arms around her as they get passionate.
After a while, they pull apart and her lipstick is smeared all over.
Danny says he has a lot to lose with Christine, who he’s connecting with.
Phyllis calls her ice cold. Why does he wanna go there again?
Danny says Phylis doesn’t know her. Never wanted to. Phylis disagrees.
He wants to forget this happened and continue growing their friendship.
She agrees to forget this happened. A knock comes to the door and she hugs him.
“You don’t know what you’re missing,” she whispers.
Danny gets the door to Christine, unable to conceal his guilt.
Christine is let in and she asks why Phyllis is there.
They cover that they were talking old times. Danny hopes it cleared things up for her.
She thanks Danny for their talk and seems pleased with herself before she goes.
Christine questions Danny who lies that she was trying to save face.
He tells her she wants to pursue a relationship.
Christine complains and asks if he’s attracted to pursuing a relationship with her again.
He tells her Phyllis isn’t an issue and not to make it one.
They make out on the sofa.

Kyle drops by Audra’s room and she tries to shut the door in his face.
He pushes his way in and she starts griping about what she saw in the news and how her name will come out soon as being involved.
Kyle reminds her he got it redacted but she thinks it’s a matter of time until she’s exposed. He warned her about Tucker.
He lies that he didn’t know about the news but she doesn’t believe him.
He still wants to know Tucker’s plan which makes Audra laugh.
She knows what he’s up to. He’s so obvious and she thinks he’s gaslighting her.
He tries to make her see things his way but she knows he was stringing her along.
Kyle accuses her of having an agenda herself. “We were using each other,” he says. They’re the same. Crying, she calls him a selfish jerk.
He grins. Someone got one over her. She can now consider him her equal.
They’re alike and want the same thing. He wants her to stick with him.
Tucker knocks and calls her name and Kyle asks what she’ll do.
She opens the door to Tucker who calls Kyle the man of the hour.
Their trusted man on the inside. Tucker can’t wait to see what Kyle has to say.
Kyle just wants to talk a counterattack, which makes Tucker laugh in disbelief. Kyle reminds him his father doesn’t want him so he goes where he’s wanted.
What can he do to prove it? Give him Jabot’s new 2025 fragrance launch.
Chem charts? The formula? Marketing plan?
Kyle’s got it all. He tells the older man to decide what he wants and call, before he goes.
Audra asks if he’s still willing to fight.
Ashley arrives home and talks to Diane about the press release.
How effective was it she wonders.
Diane doesn’t think he can survive it.
Diane asks if Ashley has any regrets. Ashley asks what she means.
Diane just wonders if she’d do anything differently if she had to do it over. Ashley says they’re in-laws, not friends.
Diane links her own battle scars with Jack to Ashley’s with Tucker. If she lost it, it’d break her.
Ashley says they’re different. She’s not weak or vulnerable. She takes off, leaving Diane to say, “Wow.”
Back at Crimson Lights, Michael, Daniel and Lauren think it wouldn’t be a surprise of Danny was seduced by Phyllis’ many charms.
Daniel asks Michael to talk his mother out of this.
Phyllis runs into Tucker at Neil’s Lounge.
He thinks it must mean something that this keeps happening.
She says the town isn’t big enough for the both of us. He agrees.
It’s suffocating there.
Maybe it’s time to kiss it goodbye.
Ashley walks in and watches Tucker.
