What’s ahead this May sweeps on Days of our Lives?
Head Writer, Ron Carlivati previews what’s going down with all of the Salem residents of Days of our Lives in May Sweeps 2023 with Soap Opera Digest.
Nicole (just the character) (Arianne Zucker) is pregnant.
That means there are two men who might be the father of her child, Eric (Greg Vaghan) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel).
Given how her pregnancies have gone in the past, this one is sure to be no less chaotic.
This proves to be the major fallout from the breakfast biscuit sex fiasco that sent Nicole and Eric into a moment of sensual surrender.
Given that she is otherwise firmly with EJ and he is more or less with Sloan (Jessica Serfaty), the former lovers will have to weigh out how much it was the pastry rather than their lingering feelings for one another that ignited their passion.
Kate in choppy waters
Clearly, Bo (Peter Reckell), did not actually kill the unkillable Kate (Lauren Koslow).
She managed to survive, but as is so often the case with her, she slips from one dangerous situation into another.
Stuck captive on a fishing boat in the middle of nowhere, she’s soon shocked by the figure from the past who returned to grab her.
How long before her friends back on land start to search for her?
Women in prison
They may be in prison, but that’s never stopped anyone from making more trouble.
Now that Megan (Miranda Wilson) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) have been thrown together in Statesville, their little legally enforced family reunion could end up only making things worse for their enemies.
The sisters bond and plot to get out, but that may mean bringing another DiMera into their scheme.
Talia and Connor’s devious plans
The mystery of Talia (Aketra Sevellian) is gradually unveiled.
Not only is she behind the recent weird events that have overtaken Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Paulina (Jackée Harry).
She’s not acting alone. Her devious cohort Colin (Jasper Newman), however, seems to have more dangerous things in the pipework than she’s imagined.
Adding another angle to the triangle
Ever since she ended up getting involved with the men of Salem, Wendy (Victoria Grace) has been pulled between Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Johnny (Carson Boatman).
Just as she is about to make a choice about which of them she wants, the little triangle could get complicated when someone else is dropped into the mix.
Andrew in danger?
Andrew (Colton Little) recently got pulled into the Greek adventure, but it looks like he’s set for some adventure of his own.
As he faces a new danger, will Paul (Christopher Sean) be able to help him?
Things have not been panning out for Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) at work since he keeps clashing with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).
When she pushes him too far, he starts to lose his grip.
He tries to keep himself together by turning to Stephanie (Abigail Klein) for support.
But needy Alex immediately causes friction with Chad (Billy Flynn), who is having a hard enough time being back in a relationship.
Will Chloe be pushed too far?
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) relationship continues to implode, not thanks to his deranged ex, but because of little Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) and her vendetta against the diva.
Chloe starts to clue in that things could be doomed for her given that the kid will always come first.
That she now lives with the perpetually shirtless Xander (Paul Telfer) isn’t helping to relieve the tension, even if the roommates have a rocky history.
