Days of our Lives Peacock recap for Monday, October 10, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Sloan confronts Paulina with evidence that Chanel did something really bad, Allie and Chanel take Alex up on his offer of a threesome, Chad and Stephanie almost have sex and Ava admits to faking her marriage to Jake.
In Friday’s Days recap, Sonny stopped Alex from firing Steph so he could date her as Chad and Stephanie shared a kiss and Chanel agreed to a threesome with Alex and Allie.
Monday…
Sloan goes to Paulina’s office “as a courtesy” to discuss how a client of Sloan’s could impact Paulina’s run for governor.
Paulina thinks Sloan is talking about Lani shooting Ray and dismisses the lawyer. But Sloan isn’t talking about Lani. She’s talking about Chanel!
Paulina wants to know if this is about Chanel being bisexual because that’s not a scandal. Paulina stands with her daughter and the entire LGBTQ community!
Sloan isn’t talking about Chanel’s relationship with Allie or her marriage to Johnny.
“I’m not here because of who your daughter associates with. I’m here because of something she did!”
Sloane is talking about something that happened when Chanel was in college and hands Paulina a file. Paulina is surprised but what she sees inside.
She snaps the file shut and asks what it is that Sloan wants.
It’s not what she wants, Sloan says. She’s here on behalf of her client.
If the contents of that file went public, Paulina would have no chance of becoming governor!
Paulina wants to know who the client is, but Sloan keeps mum. She suggests that a financial arrangement could be made.
Paulina knows this is blackmail and asks Sloan what it’s like “down there at the bottom of the barrel?”
Paulina doesn’t like being threatened, but Sloan says she’s just “explaining her options.”
Mrs. Carver brushes her off and tells the lawyer to stick her options where the sun don’t shine! She’s ready to face the consequences of whatever Chanel did.
Sloan isn’t convinced by Paulina’s bravado. Sloan asks what would happen to Chanel and her freedom if this info went public!
Sloan tells Paulina to think it over and get back to her. She leaves and Paulina is clearly shaken by whatever is in that file.
Tension is in the air as Alex wonders why Allie and Chanel are all dressed up at their apartment with no place to go.
Allie seems to be having doubts about their decision to ask Alex for a threesome.
The trio toast with red wine and discuss Sonny’s improved health. It’s awkward and Alex questions why he’s there.
Allie says they will tell him and bounces the ball to Chanel to explain. But Chanel kicks it right back to Allie.
Allie tries to spit it out while Chanel giggles. Allie finally tells Alex that she and Chanel want to take him up on his offer!
Alex is confused. What was his offer?
Allie tries to remind him without saying the word “threesome.” Alex still doesn’t get it and they end up talking about indoor water slides.
Chanel interrupts. She’s annoyed and suggests that if Allie can’t say “threesome,” she’s probably not ready for one.
Now Alex understands. But he doesn’t understand why the ladies have changed their minds about being intimate with him.
Allie explains that she and Chanel have gone through a rough patch and feel less connected than they want to be.
So they thought a threesome would solve that? Alex wants to know.
Chanel says they thought of it more as an adventure, something exciting to share.
But the ladies are clear that this is just fun and nothing emotional with Alex. Is he still single and ready to mingle, or is something going on with Stephanie, Chanel asks.
Alex admits he saw Stephanie and Chad kissing, so he’s ready to move on. How about that threesome?
He makes shots and they toast to one of the best nights of their lives. He says it’s going to be so incredible, it will have to be repeated.
“How do we start,” Chanel asks.
“Like this,” Alex answers and starts making out with Chanel.
Then Allie leans in and they start making out.
“Is that okay?” Alex asks.
“Definitely okay,” Allie answers and makes out with Chanel while Alex watches.
The trio gets up from the sofa and heads for the bedroom. Alex finally unbuttons his shirt and there’s more kissing.
Things get very steamy as the ladies get Alex undressed and take their clothes off.
Jazzy music plays as Alex kisses Chanel and then Allie, and they get on the bed, making out with one another.
After sex, Chanel kisses Allie’s hand as they all lay in bed.
“Wow!” says Alex. “That was hot!”
He leaves the bedroom to get drinks for round two.
The ladies check in with each other and agree that they’re both having a great time and love each other.
Chad and Steph resume their making out outside of Julie’s Place.
Stephanie pulls away to ask if their make-out session is too soon after Abigail’s death?
Chad says they should get out of there and Steph suggests a nightcap at her place. They’re both smashed and don’t want to drive.
They agree to rideshare and Chad whips out his phone.

At the DiMera mansion, EJ has given Ava a framed copy of her marriage certificate to the late Jake and says that his dead brother’s signature has been forged!
Johnny asks his father if he has proof and EJ says he had handwriting experts examine the certificate and they all concluded Jake’s signature was forged.
EJ is feeling smug, while Johnny accuses him of basically forging the forgery. Johnny says he should have seen this coming because it’s always a warning sign when EJ starts “acting like an actual human being.”
Johnny accuses his father of being nice to Ava just so he could have the satisfaction of pulling the rug out from under her. EJ responds that it’s “a hell of a lot more than that!”
Johnny wants to know what the rest of the evidence is. EJ says that his people have uncovered that all of the paperwork for Ava and Jake’s marriage was generated after Jake died!
Johnny turns to Ava with doubt in his eyes. He demands to know whether Ava was really married to Jake.
“No, no I wasn’t,” Ava admits. Jake’s signature is forged and they were not married.
Johnny wants to know if it was all a lie.
No, says Ava. She and Jake were in love and he asked her to marry him on the day he died. Jake wanted to prove he was over Gabi and wanted to make a commitment to Ava.
Jake has run over to the jeweler and bought the wedding bands and her diamond ring.
EJ asks if she just slipped the band on Jake’s corpse, but Ava says “It wasn’t like that.”
What was it like, Johnny wants to know?
“It was Gabi’s idea,” Ava says. “I just did what she told me to.”
EJ’s not surprised that it was Gabi’s idea but Johnny still doesn’t get it.
Ava tells him she was with Jake’s body after he died at the hospital when Gabi came in.
EJ: “Did you two good Catholic girls say the rosary?”
Ava explains Gabi’s plan to keep Jake’s shares from EJ. She admits that Gabi was cold-hearted and calculating to keep Jake’s money for herself.
Ava says she was scared and alone and that Jake really did want to marry her. The rings were still in Jake’s pocket, so she slipped the wedding band on his dead finger and one on hers.
Gabi said she would take care of the rest.
Ava says EJ showed up at the hospital next and was in cold CEO mode without a tear for Jake.
Ava apologizes for lying to Johnny but Johnny is still on her side. The DiMeras have more money than they know what to do with.
Johnny understands why Ava did what she did and considers her lies to be forgivable.
EJ is calling the cops and getting Ava thrown in prison! But Johnny grabs him and says, No!
Johnny tells EJ that Ava should be forgiven for what she did. Johnny plays the dad card and tells EJ that if he loves him, he won’t make that call.
“Fine,” EJ says. “I won’t send her to prison.”
But he demands that Ava leaves Salem and never return.
Johnny thinks that EJ must be bluffing, but he’s not. EJ wants Ava to leave now.
Johnny says that EJ doesn’t have the right to send Ava away, but Ava says it’s fine. She’ll go.
EJ leaves Ava and Johnny to say their goodbyes.
Chad and Steph arrive at her parents’ condo. They have the place to themselves. She pours them another drink.
They toast to “where the night takes us.” They kiss again and she starts unbuttoning his shirt on Kayla’s sofa.
Chad puts a stop to it. “I can’t do this!”
He apologizes and bolts for the door with apologies. Stephanie is understanding. They both agree that this was a bad idea.
Chad needs to go get his kids from grandpa Jack. He wants to know if he and Steph are okay.
She thinks it’s good that they got all this awkwardness over with.
Chad leaves and Stephanie appears to have doubts. She calls Steve to check on Kayla and tells her dad to get some sleep.
Chad arrives at Jack’s and is still smashed. He stumbles in and drops his keys on the table. He sees Abigail’s photo on the mantle. He looks at it wistfully.
Back in her office, Paulina leaves Stephanie a message to see her right way. They’ve got a big problem.
Back at the DiMera mansion, Ava collects her luggage in the DiMera mansion foyer, but Johnny tries to convince her to stay.
Ava says she has to leave or EJ will report her. Besides, there’s nothing left for her in Salem.
Johnny seems hurt.
“Almost nothing,” Ava amends and takes his hand. She’s sorry they’ll never know what could have been.
Maybe Johnny should come with her, he suggests.
No, Ava says. It’s better this way. They have good memories.
Ava kisses Johnny goodbye and walks out the door.
EJ reappears and asks if the viper has slithered off to find a new nest.
Johnny chuckles and tells his father that he’ll make him pay for this if it’s the last thing Johnny does!
He walks out and EJ looks a bit concerned.
