In the Tuesday, May 25, 2020, full episode recap of Days of our Lives, Steve and Kayla share some romance, Belle makes Jan an offer she can’t resist, Philip chokes Kristen, and Brady gets Kristen to tell him where Chloe is, while Xander prepares to kill Sami.
Belle and Shawn find Ben. He tells them what happened to Claire and plays the voicemail. “What has Jan done to her,” Belle says, beside herself.

Lucas goes to Brady in his hospital room to rant about how his girlfriend left his mother in a ditch to die and now she’s in a coma with a 50% chance of living, and now Chloe’s missing, “And it’s all because of you.” Brady says if he had an idea that she broke out of prison… Lucas interrupts. He yells that it’s hard to believe that her using fake teeth confused him. Brady brings up Lucas lying about dying of a brain tumor. Why would he and Sami lie to Chloe like that? Lucas thinks about Sami being blackmailed. Brady asks if they teamed up with Kristen. Lucas says no, she threw them in the DiMera dungeon and sent Xander to kill them. Brady’s shocked. Lucas blames him for this whole thing and goes. Brady whispers to himself that Lucas is right.
Philip visits Kristen in the interrogation room. “You,” she says. He snaps at her for what she did to his mother. She jokes that Kate jumped out of a moving car. He tells her he knows that she hired Xander to kill Sami and Lucas. He reminds her this is a capital punishment state and reveals that they’re both alive. He demands to know what she did with Chloe. Kristen wants full immunity. Philip spoke with the DA and she’s not getting any deal. She’s getting life unless she’s executed. Kristen smiles and taunts him that he let go of Chloe for a man who doesn’t even want her. She calls him a loser and keeps taunting him until he grabs her and chokes her.

Sami’s on a call at Marlena’s telling her that Xander never laid a hand on them. He walks in. “Not yet, but the night is young.” He tells her to get off the phone. She does so and he tells her that her husband doesn’t care about her life. All the money he wired to her is gone. EJ reversed the charges. Sami shrugs. Kristen’s in jail now and the threat is over. That’s not how Xander sees it. He continues to earn the money by not killing her. Sami says to suck it and he pulls a gun. Lucas comes up behind him with a baseball bat and hits the gun out of Xander’s arm. Xander screams and the gun goes flying. He thinks Lucas broke his arm. Sami goes to tend to it and grabs it and twists it. Xander calls out in pain and Sami threatens that Lucas will break the other one if he doesn’t take off. “This is your get out of jail free card,” she tells him. He agrees to it and takes off. Sami says they’ve more important things to attend to. She reveals that EJ took the money out of Xander’s account. “Did he tell you he took the money back?” Lucas asks. Sami says Xander told her. EJ must know she had sex with Lucas! Lucas doubts that. If he did, he’d be on the first flight to Salem and knocking on the door. Suddenly, a knock comes at the door. “Oh my God, it’s him,” Sami whispers.
In the park, Jan holds a gun to Claire. She’s doing this to teach her parents a lesson. Claire doesn’t believe she’d do this. She always wanted to be her friend. Jan rants that she rejected her over and over. Jan flashes to killing Charlie.
At home, Kayla continues to rant about Dr. Snyder. Steve tries to ply her with wine and get her to stop talking about him. She kisses Steve passionately. She tells him nothing is more important than them. Steve’s proud of his wife. “You actually save lives, Sweetness,” he says. He calls her beautiful and jokes that he worries that her colleagues will ask her out. Kayla reminds him she only has eyes for him. He only has eyes for her. “My eyes, my heart, my soul, etcetera.” He says, kissing her. They talk about Tripp again and then Steve calls her the love of his life.

Back at SPD, Brady walks in on Philip strangling Kristen. Brady tells Philip to go. He’ll try to get her to tell him where Chloe is. Philip goes and Kristen says she’s sorry. If she had known he was the other car in the accident she never would have left. He’s confused and she details she ran him off the road. Brady can’t believe he thought she had changed. He knows she ordered Xander to kill Lucas and Sami and God knows what she was going to do to Chloe. Kristen needs this deal. She can’t live without him and Rachel. She sobs that she just wanted to be close to him. He urges her to tell him where Chloe is. Kristen realizes she was right about him and Chloe. He admits he cares about her but this has to do with decency. “Do you want her little boy to grow up without a mother?” Kristen doesn’t want that for her, either. Brady says she’s playing with him and torturing everyone else and she’s getting no deal. He prepares to walk out, thinking she doesn’t love him enough to tell him. Kristen cries that she does love him and she’ll tell him. She tells him that she’s in the trunk of her car. Brady calls Philip in and he gets directions and heads outside. Kristen asks how Rachel is. He doesn’t know since he was in the hospital. She tells him everything she did was out of love. She asks if he still loves her. Philip returns. “The car wasn’t there, the bitch lied again!”

Ben runs into the park and sees Jordan again. “Oh no. Not you again,” he says. She tells him she’s his guilty conscience back to haunt him. She snipes at him for not answering Claire’s call and now she’ll die. It’ll be all her fault. Ben finds her locket in some hedges and realizes she was there. He opens the locket and inside is a photo of Claire and Ciara. Jordan tells him this was before he came along and ruined their friendship. She calls him a loser and treats him like garbage before disappearing. Ben calls Shawn with an update and vows to find Claire.
Jan calls Shawn from a car. She knows he staged the fight with Belle and was going to trick her into revealing she killed Charlie Dale. She doesn’t blame him. Belle turned him against her. Jan asks if she’s there and Shawn lies, so Jan hurts Claire to get her to cry out. “Put that bitch on the phone,” Jan yells. Belle offers to go to the DA and confess the murder. She can have Shawn as long as she lets Claire go. Later, Jan forces Claire to drive. They hear pounding from the trunk.
