Soaps Spoilers’ Days of our Lives comings and goings 2021 reveal which actors will appear on the NBC soap, which are leaving, and which of them have changed their contract status.

Chrishell Stause
Chrishell Stause appears on Days of our Lives the week of May 24 when Ben gets a ghostly visit from his sister Jordan Ridgeway.
Robert Scott Wilson & Jackee Harry
Robert Scott Wilson has signed another contract to continue to portray Ben Weston, as has Jackee Harry, who is Paulina Price.
Stacy Haiduk
Stacy Haiduk will be leaving Days of our Lives, as Susan and Kristen though she will return, according to Thaao Penghlis (Tony DiMera) in a tweet. The actress’s last airdate is May 27.
She’ll be back.

Cameron Johnson and Victoria Konefal
Cameron Johnson (Theo Carver) and Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady Weston) leave Salem for South Africa on April 28. Though Konefal does not have a contract with the show, she’s recurring and will be seen back on canvas summer of 2021 according to Ron Carlivati, who said, “I don’t have the exact date in front of me but she’s coming back this summer. I would encourage the audience to remember that they have an important anniversary coming up this summer that may figure into their story, so she will be back sooner than you know.” The head writer also teased, “I think in the meantime, what people seem to be assuming is that Ben and Claire might get together during this point while Ciara is off camera with Theo, and while that’s always a possibility, I would encourage people to just watch how the story unfolds. Ben and Claire have a really nice friendship that we’ve built and it’s not necessarily going to turn romantic.”
Boise Holmes
Boise Holmes will be seen on Days of our Lives this week as Father Barnard, who will be on hand during the twins’ christening.
Michael Lowry
According to Soap Opera Digest, Michael Lowry will be portraying Dr. Snyder, in scenes with Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) starting Friday, April 2. The actor is no stranger to soaps and had roles on various soaps including All My Children, As The World Turns, Bold and the Beautiful, in addition to One Life to Live.
Heather Lindell Back
Heather Lindell is back in her role on Days as Jan Britney Spears, having come out of her coma. The last time Jan was in Salem was September 2020 when John strangled her and she went into a coma.
Kyle Lowder Exits
Kyle Lowder exits Days of our Lives as Rex Brady. Monday, March 22 is his last airdate. This has been a quick return for Lowder who reappeared on canvas the week of March 8. “Anytime I get a phone call that I can return to Salem, I’m just thrilled,” he told Soap Opera Digest in a recent interview.
“I was looking forward to putting Rex’s wardrobe back on and getting back to Salem and seeing all the people that I love working with and doing it again.” He discussed his first day back stating, “So as I’m driving to the studio, at like 4:45 in the morning, I was so consumed with gratitude. But I was going that early because you have to get tested every morning when you go there and it takes at least two hours to get the results. So when you would normally have a 7 a.m. call time, you have to be there at 5. But I didn’t care. I was happy to have a call time and be back on set again because the entertainment business had been shut down for so long.”
Linsey Godfrey Out
Linsey Godfrey will be exiting the role of Sarah Horton on Days of our Lives. Soap Opera Digest has confirmed in their magazine that the actress wraps things up on March 22 but will be last seen on March 29. On Twitter, she told followers, “It’s truly been a pleasure. A massive thank you to @nbcdays for the opportunity to play Sarah & all 86 of her hairstyles. Thank you to casting, production and the crew! Also thank you to the amazing cast I got to work with! I have made some lifelong friends that I cherish.”
Victoria Konefal’s Contract
To clear up some of the confusion over Victoria Konefal’s (Ciara Brady) contract, the actress spoke with Jillian Claire (ex-Abigail Deveraux) on her podcast, Thanks For Coming In. She told Claire, “Initially I had signed a two-year contract and then I signed another six-month contract. January of 2020 was when I decided I wouldn’t be coming back with a contract. And then they didn’t know how they were going to write me in as recurring. My place on the show was very up in the air and then covid happened.” The actress went on to say, “They offered me this fun little dealio where they bring me on for sixteen episodes and they give me time off and they bring me on and then they give me time off.”
March 2021
Stacy Haiduk will portray three roles coming up. She’s already pulling double duty as Kristen DiMera and Susan Banks, but now she’ll take over Sarah Horton’s life. This begins the week of March 15.
Precious Way
Precious Way will be joining the cast of Days as Chanel, who has an affiliation with Jackée Harry’s character, Paulina. Way will be first seen in March, according to Blackfilm.
Dan Wells
Dan Wells played Stan while Alison Sweeney was on maternity leave in 2005 taped at Days of our Lives. He posted an Instagram photo that shows a shoebox with the name “Stan” on it. The photo has since been taken down. Sami becomes Stan in a video below from Mosse1 on YouTube.
The story – Andre gave Sami makeup and a voice changer and urged her to become Stan in order to prove to Lucas that she didn’t cheat on him the way that Kate lied and said she did, the night before their wedding. Sami went to Iraq to save Philip when he was in the line of duty, and eventually, Kate exposed Sami as Stan. This happened when Ali Sweeney needed time off for her child’s birth.
