On today’s full episode recap of Days of our Lives, Gwen and Jack get answers, Nicole receives bad news, and Gabi razzes her brother about the time he’s spending with Nicole.
At home, Jake fantasizes about kissing Gabi. He tells Tony he’s been fielding calls about their sister. He heard Tony was taken hostage and would have appreciated a heads up on yet another DiMera family scandal. Tony says he’s fine, by the way. But he couldn’t give a heads up. “I was all tied up.” Tony has advice for his younger brother on Gabi Chic. He thinks resurrecting it would be a good idea. Jake agrees but Tony says Gabi has a talent for getting herself into trouble, while Kate has a remarkable way of making trouble. If Jake goes along with this, he’ll have professional success, but personal issues.
Gabi finds Rafe drinking coffee at home. She spots the bear and learns it was a gift from Nicole Brady from Cowboy Critters. Gabi scoffs that he went to a children’s hangout for his birthday. “We took Holly and Henry as cover,” he says. Gabi knows her brother is lonely but reminds him that Nicole’s married. Rafe says they’re just friends. He throws Jake DiMera in her face. Gabi rolls her eyes. “Jake’s not married.” Rafe says good luck with that and her work proposal. He goes to the police station.

Nicole goes to Roman at the pub with news he’ll love. Roman welcomes that. She confesses that Eric is finally coming home! Roman’s thrilled. If Charlie gets bail, Roman will also feel comfortable knowing Eric’s at home to protect Allie. Later, Eric calls and Nicole’s stunned.
At Alice’s, Jack tells Jenn the DNA results will be in later this morning. Jack still has no idea if he’s Gwen’s daughter. He admits it’s not outside the realm of possibility that he slept with Tiffany and didn’t know her name. Jennifer’s surprised. She’s disgusted by Tiffany for accepting money in exchange for keeping quiet about Gwen. Jenn wonders if Gladys, Jack’s old secretary paid Tiffany off. Jack calls Gladys and learns she has no memory of Tiffany Rizczech. Jack gets a call. DNA tests results are in.
Abigail brings doughnuts to Julie at the hospital. She says she’s feeling better. At least Eli and Lani have a lead. They think Dr. Raynor has something to do with it. Julie asks how she’s doing after what Gwen did to her. Abigail tries to make light of it, but shares that Gwen put the drug in her champagne last April, not Gabi. Julie’s shocked that “that ghoul” Dr. Rolf admitted to giving her the drug.
Gwen ices her face at Salem Inn, noticing it’s not as red as it was. “Damn,” she curses. She vows to make Abigail regret hitting her. She takes out a makeup bag and says, “It’s showtime.”

Gabi rushes to the door in a towel when someone keeps ringing her doorbell. She opens the door to Jake. “I came to talk about your naked. Your towel. Your proposal!” She lets him in and he looks around. It’s homey and reminds him of where he grew up in Philly. Jake says he’s sorry but he has to turn her down. Gabi is shocked and blames Kate. Jake says the decision was his alone, but Gabi thinks this is about Jake’s inability to trust himself around her. Jake says he can’t be in business with her. It’ll always be about Stefan and Jake isn’t him. He wishes her the best and says he’ll release her company so she can sell it elsewhere.
Abigail goes to Rafe to tell him that Gwen has a vendetta out for her family. Rafe heard but he can’t send out an APB on her or arrest her without proof. Gwen rushes in and points at her eye, “You are the one who should be arrested,” she says. Gwen has added extra makeup to produce a much worse looking bruise. Abigail denies doing that. Rafe calls it battery but asks if there’s a more civil way to resolve this. Abigail wants to fight but Gwen gets a call and learns the paternity test results are in. She tells Rafe that she’s as much of a Devereaux as Abby. Gwen goes and Rafe advises Abby to stay away from Gwen. “She’s dangerous.”
Rafe finds Nicole upset on a call and when she throws her phone after she disconnects, he asks what’s up. Nicole reveals that Eric was supposed to be coming home. She was planning a party for him but the mission begged him to stay three more months and he said he would. Nicole sobs.
Gwen finds Julie at the hospital in a wheelchair. Julie says she can identify her as the woman who drugged Abigail last April. Gwen is snide. She’s not worried. The women argue and things get physical. Julie looks a bit out of it when Jack appears. He separates them and worries but Julie goes down to meet Doug. Jack heads back to Gwen and sees her bruise. Gwen insists she’s fine. She opens the DNA test results. Jack is her father. “Read ’em and weep, Daddy,” Gwen says.
Abigail arrives home and fills Jenn in on running into Gwen at SPD. The doorbell rings and Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) arrives. There are hugs all around and when they reveal the story about Gwen possibly being Jack’s daughter. Laura looks horrified and reveals that she sent the checks to Tiffany. She hoped it would never come out!
The next time on Days of our Lives, Rafe comforts Nicole.
