Days of our Lives Peacock recap for Friday, October 7, 2022.
In today’s Days episode, Sonny lays into his brother, Chad and Stephanie get close, and Allie and Chanel decide to have a threesome with Alex.
In Wednesday’s Days recap, Stefan broke Gabi’s heart again, Ava and Johnny moved back into the manse, and Will gave Allie advice before saying goodbye.
Friday…
EJ’s stunned to see both Ava and EJ at his door. He lets them in and tells them they’ll get Harold to oversee their room. Ava requests two. Johnny says they’re not sleeping together.
Ava concurs. They’re just friends. EJ demands to know why they didn’t sleep together.
Ava put the brakes on it. She’s not over Jake.
EJ says it was wrong of him to jump to the conclusion that they’re having an affair. They discuss this at length until EJ decides to take off down to the secret room to get some merlot.
While he’s gone, Johnny and Ava think EJ’s got an agenda. Even so, Johnny thinks they could be great together.
He’ll be there for her if she changes her mind. EJ returns and Johnny leaves the room while Ava opens a box.
EJ framed her marriage license. She seems confused but calls it a thoughtful gesture.
EJ says the problem is, that’s not Jake’s signature!
The handwriting experts say that it’s a forgery. Johnny thinks he’s lying but EJ is sure she did it to get her shares on Johnny’s uncle’s shares.
On the sofa, Sonny convalesces as he calls Will to see if his flight went well.
He’ll video chat with him later tonight with Ari and soon, they’ll visit him. They say their I love yous and Sonny’s crabby to Alex when he asks if Will’s headed back to L.A.
“No, he’s going to Minnesota to judge St. Olaf’s annual yodeling contest.”
Alex thinks channeling the Golden Girls must mean he’s recovering and that their truce is over. Sonny apologizes. The separation is tough on him.
Alex calls him lucky and asks if he can give him advice about his love life. He wants Stephanie.
Sonny thinks he’s obsessed and calls it a turn-off for her. Sonny’s sage advice is “stop trying.”
She’s not interested in him! Alex was a jerk to her at the hospital and he needs to make up for it.
Sonny starts yelling, wondering why his brother cares. He wants to send her flowers. Sonny feels like he’s talking to a brick wall.

Alex has the perfect solution. Sonny’s terrified to hear this. Alex says since she doesn’t want to work with someone she dates, he’ll fire her.
Sonny calls his bro a dumbass.
It’s sexual harassment. Alex realizes he’s right. Instead, he decides to quit.
Sonny rolls around on the sofa, clutching his head. He needs to stay put. Uncle Vic is happy with his job.
He’ll have to stay until he’s well enough to go back. He points at his brother and gets in his face, trying to get him to let go of the obsession. Alex promises to try.
They decide to eat their pain away. Alex goes to Julie’s Place to get some chili dogs like Adrienne used to make.
Sonny asks for two and then Alex posters him, thinking that won’t fill the hole. “Make it six!”
Outside Julie’s Place, Chad and Stephanie finished all of their work.
She thanks him and they shake hands. She hopes he works with her beyond the election.
They agree to share a bottle of champagne as they grin wildly at one another.
They booze it up and empty the bottle. Stephanie’s cell gets a notification and she sighs. Her brothers are texting her hourly for word on their mom.
Chad comforts her, sure that her mom will pull through.
She remembers believing for years that her father was dead and it felt like a miracle when he finally came home.
Her mom was her rock. Chad calls Kate his rock and worries about her.
Alex finds them with Stephanie’s hand on Chad’s and he takes off.
Chad’s grateful to have a job and thanks Stephanie for throwing him a lifeline.
She credits Chad for finishing her job. Chad admits he had just come from Abigail’s grave and imagined seeing her.
She told him to move on. He admits there’s someone he already likes. He and Stephanie lean in and make out.
At Chanel and Allie’s, Chanel is stumped by Allie’s request to have a threesome with Alex.
Chanel thought they talked about it as a joke.
Does it have anything to do with your brother? Allie groans. “Ew. No!”
Chanel wonders if she wants a threesome because she thinks her jealousy over Johnny will solve it. Allie denies it. She doesn’t miss having sex with men but thinks it could be fun.
Chanel’s learned she can be happy in a monogamous relationship. Allie is too. Allie gets Chanel more wine. Chanel doesn’t think she’s giving this threesome a lot of thought. “It’s just sex,” Allie insists.
She says the thought of her and Johnny bothers her but it’s not why she wants to do this.
She remembers how hot it was with Tripp. She doesn’t want either of them to miss that.
Chanel admits being fluid doesn’t mean she misses men. Allie feels the same.
Still, if Chanel were to say yes, she asks how they’d make it happen.
In her office, Paulina looks at her tablet, happy with what she reads.
Abe appears and they kiss. She was down at breakfast. She tells him she read the progress report on their outreach efforts.
She lit a fire under Stephanie’s ass and it worked. She hopes Chad DiMera will come on board with her.
Abe turns the topic to Marlena, Kayla and Kate being ill. Orpheus. Paulina’s shocked.
She heard Stephanie’s mom was sick but didn’t realize how bad it was. Paulina thinks the men must be losing their minds.
She wants to check on them but it’s family only right now. Paulina’s surprised that Kate checked herself out.
“Poor Roman,” she says, living with a woman that stubborn.
Abe snorts at that. Sloan Peterson interrupts. She heard Paulina was running for governor.
She asks to speak privately so Abe goes to the pub. Sloan says she represents a client who has possession of certain information.
If it becomes public, Paulina’s foray into politics is over. It’s about her daughter.
Alex returns home with Brady’s pub. He lies that Julie’s Place was out of chili dogs. He got them burgers. Sonny’s happy with that but notices Alex’s mood.
Alex gets a text from Allie and Chanel who want to come over.
Allie and Chanel drink more wine and get dressed up and Alex arrives at their place.
He asks, “What’s up?”
