In the Wednesday, December 14, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor’s home, Ridge is on his way back and Eric has some tough love for his son.
We also have Tuesday’s B&B recap where Sheila plotted another escape, and Deacon packed to leave the country after erasing the security footage.
Steffy is thrilled when her mom shows up at Forrester.
Steffy has so much to tell her but first asks how she’s doing. She’s okay.
She and Ridge went their separate ways.
She sorted through some anger and tried to understand her questionable choices.
Steffy wishes Thomas hadn’t made that call to CPS.
Steffy won’t push her to her father again.
She got caught up in the moment and though she still wants them together, she won’t press it.
Taylor says Ridge is coming home today.
Steffy feels terrible that she told the truth.
Taylor says someone had to. “I love that you did that.”
Steffy urges her mom to think about what she deserves and “be self-loving and self-respecting.
If it’s with Dad great, and if it’s not…” The two embrace.
In the design room, Brooke can’t believe that Steffy ran right into Sheila at Il Giardino.
They’re back to being on high alert and added security.
Hope asks if Ridge knows.
Brooke says no because Steffy didn’t want to worry him.
He’s on his way home today.
Hope asks how that makes her mama feel.
She says Ridge has apologized but that doesn’t mean that things can go back to the way they were.
Ridge needed to do soul searching and she hopes he has.
Brooke finds Taylor on a work call in the big office. She’s surprised to see her. Did she plan to come home the day Ridge is coming home? Taylor mocks her for not asking how she’s doing.
Brooke quickly brings up Taylor deceiving Ridge and the CPS call Thomas faked.

Taylor didn’t want to be with Ridge by default.
Brooke says Ridge leaving her and ending their marriage was based on a lie.
Taylor says it seems like that but the love she and Ridge share is real and special and nobody can take that from them.
She smiles as Brooke purses her lips. Taylor loves her son but feels awful about what he did to Brooke. Brooke believes her.
She doesn’t believe any of this would have happened if it hadn’t been for Thomas. Tay says Thomas has a lot to make up for but she doesn’t think he understands the damage he caused. She says Steffy is furious.
Brooke’s grateful Steffy stepped up. It cost her a lot and Taylor must be proud of her.
“My daughter is amazing. She did what I should have done.”
She was close to having her parents m married. “Probably won’t happen now,” Brooke lightly gloats.
Taylor and Brooke admit neither has spoken with Ridge.
They share a laugh about how both of them have done this chasing after Ridge for years and now, they are wondering who will end up with their dream.
Steffy catches Hope on a call to Liam discussing Sheila.
She disconnects and the women commiserate over Sheila’s return and their moms and Ridge’s return. Steffy calls Baker to see if there’s news about Sheila.
When there’s none she rants to Hope. They can’t get into the holiday spirit because of Sheila.
She’s bummed that her parents will have to hear it soon. Hope and Steffy wish Thomas hadn’t deceived everyone.
Steffy says that Taylor would have told her dad the truth after the wedding. He still loves her mother.
Hope says if it wasn’t for Thomas, Ridge and Brooke would probably still be married. Hope believes he’s coming back for her.
Ridge is on the company jet drinking while flashing back to loving times with Brooke.
Eric calls and Ridge tells his dad he knows what he’s going to do.
Eric says enough of this going back and forth.
“You need to commit to one of them. Is it Brooke or is it Taylor? What’s your decision?”
Later, Trevor, the pilot comes out into the cabin and Ridge thanks him for a good job.
The man goes and Ridge grabs his phone when a text comes in.
Ridge arrives at Forrester and finds Brooke with Taylor.
They ask how his flight was. He’s confused and says it was fine.
He missed them both but his time away was productive.
He asks what’s going on. He got a text and it confused him.
They say it was from them both. They assume he’s back because he made a decision about how who he’ll choose.
They’ve something to say about that.
They’ve made a decision.
