Monday, Dec 4: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Hope asks Brooke how she can go ahead with this charade, Ridge thinks they should be honest with Eric, and Eric continues refusing to go to the hospital.
Friday’s Early B&B recap: Donna was horrified When Eric collapsed and fell unconscious.
At the Forrester Creations office, Ridge complains to Brooke that his father should be getting tests in the hospital, not planning a party.
Maybe a test could give them something to hope for. He should be making sure his dad is alright instead of getting into a monkey suit.
Hope pops in and is baffled when they tell her Eric wants a party.
He wants a night full of love and laughter to be remembered. He thinks that could be the best medicine.
Ridge thinks they should just be honest with his dad and support him.
Hope is sure this is hard for him. He thanks her for the support and leaves to see RJ.
Sitting down, they still can’t believe Eric wants to throw a party. Hope reminds her mom she shares two children with Eric and asks if she can really pull off this charade.
Brooke says they all have to be strong. This may be the last thing he ever asks for.
Neither of them can imagine the company without Eric, even if they are sure it will go on.
Brooke says he always stood by her, even when she didn’t deserve it.
It will be heartbreaking to have a world without him. They sob and hug.
Zende heads into the design office and reminds RJ it’s his workspace. RJ thought everyone worked there and offers to work somewhere else.
Checking out his latest design, Zende tells him he has a lot to learn.
They start bickering and Zende points out how little RJ knows. He never even went to design school.
They rolled out the red carpet for him because he’s Brooke and Ridge’s son.
RJ gets why he’s upset but insists he hasn’t been doing this for some ulterior motive. They shouldn’t fight over this.
He was shocked when Eric asked him to design and Ridge had nothing to do with it.
Zende needs a good reason for accepting why their granddad choice RJ. Ridge arrives and announces he has a good reason and it may be time for him to know it.
Ridge asks Zende if he’s noticed any changes with Eric over the past few months. Zende thinks he’s been as strong as usual.
RJ explains that he lost the fashion challenge and Ridge announces his dad is dying.
Zende looks confused.
Stepping aside, Zende recalls how his granddad always accepted him, made him want to be a better man and designer.
He wants to see him but Ridge says they can’t let him know that they know.
Zende understands. He loves him so much.
Ridge hugs him.

Daily B&B spoilers into December
At home, Donna struggles with Eric after he collapses on the floor. She checks for a pulse.
Before she can call an ambulance, Eric starts groaning.
He stops her from calling the hospital and tells her he’s not dead. She weeps.
He’s sorry for upsetting her and thanks her, adding they need to throw his party right away.
He’s running out of time.
Joking, he asks for a martini. She gets him water.
He repeats they need to have the party.
She gets him a blanket. He tries joking but that only makes her more upset.
If he thought treatment could help, he would get it, but he just wants to live, laugh, and love.
She doesn’t want a party.
This is all breaking her heart.
Seeing how sad she is makes him realize how much he will miss her.
He holds her as she cries on his chest.
