Thursday, Dec 28: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Hope tells Ridge her relationship is not his business, Ridge and Steffy worry about her brother, and Thomas wishes Finn would back off.
Wednesday’s Early B&B recap: Finn snapped at Thomas when he caught him arguing with Steffy, and Hope worried to Ridge that Thomas is headed for trouble.
In the design office at Forrester Creations, Thomas tells Finn that his sister has just been forcing the issue and needs to cool off.
He adds that this doesn’t involve him.
The doctor warns him not to talk to his wife like this and then leaves to answer a call about a patient.
Steffy gets a call from a supplier to get an update on Eric.
She gets off the line and tells her brother people all over the world are concerned about Eric.
He suggests she try channeling her concerns about Hope into thinking of their grandfather and urge her husband to do likewise.
They talk about how protective Finn is.
Thomas assures his sister that he is happy and he’s earned that.
He’s done with the moroseness of the past and wants to move on.
His sister knows he’s made changes and doesn’t want him to jeopardize that. When she sees him with Hope, she worries.
Her brother says she doesn’t have to fully support his relationship, but he pleads with her not to undermine it.
In the main office, Hope assures Ridge that no one has anything to worry about. He’s worried anyway and asks if she sees herself having a future with his son.
“Like father like daughter,” she says. He just wants to know if she is serious about his son.
Thomas is serious about her and that caused some serious problems last time.
She tells him that everything is fine. He knows they are living in the moment but wonders what’s next.
Hope doesn’t have a crystal ball and doesn’t know what’s next. She can’t make any guarantees.
She gets that he’s a concerned parent but this is only between her and Thomas.
After Hope leaves, Steffy comes in and her father says the blonde was complaining about her attitude.
She vents about Hope not wanting a future with Thomas. She knows her husband wants her to support him but she worries this could end badly for him.
Steffy worries that her brother is tempting fate.

B&B December comings and goings
Hope and Thomas sit in the design office. He apologizes for his family complaining about them.
She admits that she urged them to lay off. But she does understand where they are coming from. They love him and worry.
What they have is very confusing for his family. They should be happy for them because she has made him happier than he has ever been.
That makes him better for the line, a better father and a better man. He thanks her for that.
She doesn’t want to cause tension with his family and thinks they should just be grateful.
He is and kisses her, grateful that he can be so close to her. When he looks at her, he sees that she has put faith and trust in him to grow into the kind of man she deserves.
Thomas says he’s a one-woman man and that woman is her.
He knows a little boy who loves them together, always and forever.
Dropping on his knee, he pulls out a ring and asks her to marry him.
Hope stares in surprise and then smiles.
Xander Avant is shown into Finn’s office.
He’s there for an annual checkup.
They discuss him moving back to town from London.
When Finn asks him why he left, Xander flashes back to Ridge kicking him out of the building for his role in what happened to Beth.
Xander is vague and says he just got to the end of his road there.
As he gets up, he notices Finn’s wedding photo and asks if he’s married to Steffy.
Finn confirms it. Xander admits that he used to be involved with the family.
He’s surprised that he hasn’t heard about the role he played with Thomas.
Xander flashes back to fighting with Thomas about his lies and all the destruction he was causing with Zoe.
Avant decides that they might not be a good fit.
Finn is confused but assumes this involves Thomas.
“Thomas isn’t who you think he is,” says Xander.
He says he has no conscience or remorse. He did something evil to an innocent young girl.
He flashes back to Emma’s death and then asks Finn is he ever heard of her.
The doctor hasn’t. Did Thomas do something difficult?
“I’m talking about murder,” says Xander.
