In the Thursday, February 17, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge goes to his kids after the fight with Deacon, and Brooke tries to get a hold of Ridge.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Ridge told his family that he ended his relationship with Brooke, while Brooke told Hope and Liam that she lost her soulmate.
In the closet at Il Giardino, Deacon looks in the mirror at his bruised and bloodied face. Sheila appears. Either he got hit by a bus or somebody doesn’t like him. He cleans up the glass with the broken broom and Sheila reminds him she’s a nurse.
She offers to take a look. He says it’s nothing. “Did you run into Ridge’s fist after he found out you spent the night with his wife?” Deacon flashes to the fight and tells her that he restrained himself for Brooke.
Sheila is surprised he didn’t show Ridge who the Alpha Dog is. Deacon talks about martial arts and how he let Ridge defeat himself. He admits that when Brooke saw what Ridge was doing, “she defended me.”
At home, Brooke relays to Liam and Hope that she told Ridge about everything that happened New Year’s Eve and he said he loved her and that they’d work through this. Liam assumes Ridge went after Deacon.
Brooke nods. She tells them that she caught them hitting each other at Il Giardino and she came between them and defended Deacon. “Ridge couldn’t believe that I was defending him.” She thinks she went too far.
“I made a terrible mistake.” Liam thinks Ridge needs time to think. Brooke wonders why he’s not taking her calls.

At the Cliffhouse, Ridge tells his kids he didn’t come over to cause trouble. They know that he came to them for comfort. Thomas thinks his dad knows where he should be. He thinks Brooke manipulates him and that he should stay there. “With our family.”
Thomas sees Ridge’s cell phone and Brooke’s voicemail and deletes it before anyone notices. He secretly pockets the phone as he gets his father an ice pack and they discuss how Brooke sided with Deacon, not Ridge.
Steffy doesn’t think Brooke deserves a life with Ridge after this. The baby cries and Taylor goes into the bedroom while Steffy and Thomas keep hounding Ridge about his wife. He tells his dad that Taylor would never do this to her.
He sees a text from Brooke telling Ridge she’s coming to get him. He puts the phone back in his pocket and tells the others that he’s going to get fresh air. He goes outside.
Back at her house, Brooke leaves another message to beg Ridge to take her call so they can work this out. She can’t risk losing the man she loves and takes off to find him. She knows where to look.
Brooke finds Thomas outside the Cliffhouse. She asks to see his father and Thomas tells her, “He doesn’t need to see you.” Brooke needs to speak with him and tries to walk to the door.
Thomas blocks the way and again, refuses her, while inside, Steffy continues to tell her dad that they are done watching him absolve Brooke. “She’s a serial cheater, Dad.” She compares Brooke to her mom and Taylor appears from the bedroom.
She stops her from saying more. She sighs as Steffy asks how her dad can keep rejecting her mom and choosing Brooke.
