In the Monday, April 11, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, as Steffy’s family wait for news on her condition, Hope visits Liam at the hospital, Brooke offers her condolences.
We also have Friday’s B&B recap where Thomas asked Sheila if she was involved in the shooting.
Taylor is barely awake as she sits in the hospital waiting room. Ridge brings her coffee. They are waiting for news on Steffy. She made it through the night. They talk about how much Liam still loves her.
Bridget comes out and informs them there has been no improvement. They have to give her time to heal. Brooke arrives as her sister takes off to update Steffy’s doctors. Brooke asks how this could happen.
Taylor thanks her for coming by. Brooke asks if she can help with the kids. They tell her about Li and Sheila being there last night. As much as Brooke despises Sheila, she’s sure she’s going through hell.
Taylor leaves them alone to talk. Brooke brought him some clothes. Ridge is upset, scared, and doesn’t know what he should be doing. She tells him he just needs to be there for Steffy and Taylor.
He keeps telling himself that he can’t lose Steffy like he lost Phoebe. Brooke reminds him that she is his wife and will be there for anything he needs. They hug.
Down the hall, Hope brings Liam some food and a change of clothes. He keeps thinking about the kids. They just lost Finn… he can’t accept they could lose their mother too.
Hope tells him the kids are okay. He can’t stop thinking about how vulnerable Steffy looks hooked up to machines. Seeing the energy drained out of her feels wrong.
Liam takes a walk and changes his clothes before returning. Hope assures him that Steffy is a fighter and the kids have all of them. They are all connected and their disagreements in the past don’t matter now.
Liam paces. He assumes someone will call him if something happens.
Hope says she’s always respected Steffy as a mother and businesswoman. Her whole life has been shattered and her plans for the future are gone. “It’s not going to be easy,” Liam adds.
No one has told the kids anything yet. Hope says they will be surrounded by people who love them and they will help them through this.
Liam realizes Finn would deal with his situations like this every day at work. Steffy was finally happy and some “rando monster” took is away. He hates trying to remember their last conversation.
Hope assures him Steffy knows he cares and is a devoted father. Liam knows. He spent all night with their memories. Even if she pulls through, nothing will ever be the same again.

Sheila paces in a room until Thomas corners her and asks if she had anything to do with what happened to his sister and Finn. She flashes back to shooting them. “You think I wanted this?” she asks.
Thomas isn’t trying to be cruel. Everyone is devastated about Finn but he knows she is not a changed person and he wonders if she hates his sister enough to shoot her.
Sheila insists the idea of Steffy clinging to her life scares her as much as it scares him. The way Finn lost his life makes her sick. She claims she would have to be an animal to shoot her own son.
Taylor walks in on this and asks what’s happening. Her son explains he asked Sheila if she had anything to do with the shooting. Taylor can’t believe he would suggest such a thing.
Sheila says sometimes people do things when they are scared and desperate. She can’t stop thinking about what Steffy will remember when she wakes up. Crying, she doesn’t know why life was cruel enough to put Finn in the alley.
She finally had the chance to meet her son and tell him how proud she was of him… and now this. “My son is gone!” she cries, running out.
Taylor tells her son that no one likes Sheila, but he needs to think about how they are all struggling right now. She runs after Sheila.
Thomas wanders into Brooke and Ridge and tells them how weird it is to see Sheila in pain when she’s the one who is always hurting people.
Sheila goes up on the roof. “Finn! Why?” she yells at the sky, wondering why Steffy wouldn’t give her a chance. She’s done horrible things in her life, but this…
She flashes back to reuniting with Finn and then says she can’t go on without him. Stepping onto the ledge, she says, “I’m coming Finn!”
Taylor runs out and yells at her not to jump.
