Thursday, Nov 2: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Luna and Katie talk about a world without Eric, the kids give Finn a card, and Brooke and RJ are startled by Ridge’s choice.
Wednesday’s B&B recap: Ridge learned he won the fashion showdown just before RJ told him Eric is dying, and Eric showed up, demanding to know the results.
In the office at Forrester creations, Eric declares he doesn’t have all the time in the world and demands Ridge tell him who won the fashion challenge.
Ridge looks away and thinks about how important it was to him to beat his father before RJ broke the news he’s dying.
Eric keeps demanding an answer. His son says it was close.
As Ridge delays, his father demands to know if he beat him. “You won because you’re the master,” Ridge tells him.
Eric and Donna are thrilled. RJ and Brooke are shocked.
Extending his hand to his father, Ridge congratulates him.
Eric can hardly believe it and thanks RJ for helping him win. “I won. I really won,” he repeats.
“You really did. You won the day,” Ridge says.
Eric starts thanking Donna and telling her how much he loves her.
He tells the others that this victory has proven to him that he can still do what he was put on the earth to do.
He knows this competition has created a lot of tension with Ridge and they need to let that go now.
Eric tells his son that his talent never ceases to amaze him and his designs were sublime. He had to do this to prove he’s not just a stapler to be discarded.
Ridge understands.
In the showroom, Katie sits and drinks champagne, telling Luna that it was another fabulous Forrester event.
Luna is envying her beautiful shoes and Katie says that the best shoes cause the most pain.
They wonder who won the challenge.
Everything was beautiful. Katie insists she’s taking one home.
Luna can tell RJ is really proud of what he created with Eric. Katie is sure this was all really hard for him.
She wishes they could all be there for Eric. He shouldn’t be going through this without his son.
Katie says the relationship between a parent and child is the most profound you will ever know. Eric doesn’t know that the love of his son could be the best medicine.
They can’t even imagine a world without Eric and his guidance, personally and professionally.
Katie hates the Ridge is losing valuable time with his father. Luna reminds her of how hard keeping this secret has been for RJ.
They think that Eric has produced the best line of his career.
Katie knows how important his winning this challenge is.
They talk about the buyers for a second and then Katie goes back to wishing that Ridge knew the truth.

Daily B&B spoilers into November
Finn is working at the cliff house and is startled when the kids suddenly rush in and start hugging him. Kelly says they went to sleep in Rome and woke up in LA.
Steffy saunters in and says, “Surprise.” He can hardly believe she’s real.
She declares that she’s home and they hug and kiss.
They all sit down and the kids give him a card they made with a drawing of them all surfing.
The kids missed him. He missed them and their hugs too. He promises never to take them for granted.
He tickles they children and they chuckle. Steffy beams.
Kelly starts speaking Italian to impress Finn. The doctor says that having them home is the best surprise he’s ever had.
He calls Li to come and pick the kids up for ice cream.
Steffy tells the kids to get ready while their parents talk.
Finn tells her this is the best day of his life. It’s right up there with their wedding day and the birth of their son.
Words can’t describe how much he’s missed her.
She doesn’t want to run away from her life any more. She’s a fighter and will fight for what’s hers.
The only thing that matters is that they are together and strong. They will never leave him again.
He’s dreamed of those words. This almost doesn’t seem real.
They kiss again.
