Friday, April 5, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Eric and Lauren rejoice over Sheila’s passing; Hope and Finn bond over their shared connection; unable to leave her, Deacon accompanies Sheila’s body to the crematorium.
Thursday’s Early B&B recap: Liam’s Surprised Steffy Let Finn Attend Sheila’s Memorial, Lauren Says Good Riddance to Sheila as Finn & Deacon Say Goodbye
At the Forrester CEO office, Steffy slams the drawer to Eric’s desk as she bitches to Liam that Sheila put a bullet in “Hope’s mom” (Taylor), her and Finn and her mother and grandfather.
“Half of LA and Hope’s going to her memorial?”
Liam claims at first he doesn’t get it but then says she’s supporting her father.
Talk turns to Hope and Thomas.
They’re glad he’s in Paris and hope Hope will be with someone she can commit to next. He decides to leave.
At Il Giardino, Finn and Hope decide not to go to the crematorium with Deacon.
Finn says it felt good to get closure.
He’s so mixed up inside and can’t help it.
The world hates her but part of him is sad about the demise of his birth mother.
Steffy’s name comes up.
Finn gets why she didn’t want him there. Hope talks about how she’s doing since Thomas and Douglas left.
Finn thinks it’s a sort of grieving.
It’s been hard on her, she says, missing them both. She keeps busy with work and overanalyzing.
She thanks Finn for his support.
He offers to be there for her whenever she needs it. She asks if he has ideas on where she goes from here.
He suggests she use the time to reflect on what happened and why before she moves on.
He knows she had genuine feelings for the guy but doubts they could have had true commitment after their history.
“Not after what happened with Beth.” Finn thinks she should smooth things over with Liam. Hope almost falls over in surprise.
He’s sorry for overstepping but she did ask for his opinion.
Lauren and Eric drink to Sheila finally dead. “Hallelujah,” Lauren says with a laugh.
Eric admits it’s odd celebrating her demise.
Lauren’s feeling the opposite. It’s pure bliss right now.

Deacon arrives at the crematorium with flowers.
The morgue attendant, Carl, asks how the memorial was. Deacon says it went well.
Deacon confirms Sheila Carter is the name of the deceased and signs papers, struggling as he does.
The man is sorry for Deacon’s loss.
Deacon tries hard not to break down in tears as he looks at Sheila in the cardboard casket.
He asks to witness the cremation and to put the flowers in with her.
He talks about loving Sheila and how she loved him fiercely.
He thought they’d have more time together.
Deacon places the roses on her and reminisces about dancing with her and how much fun they had at Halloween.
He recalls getting engaged and cries and says he’ll never forget her.
Deacon sobs and begs Sheila to sit up and show him her beautiful smile.
“Call me Daddy.” He weeps. “Please.” He misses her so and had to be there so she wouldn’t go alone.
He wishes he had come into her life sooner and thinks things would have been different.
He pulls down the sheet and tells Sheila she’s loved and presses the button to send her into her final resting place.
The sheet lifts and he sees ten toes.
Deacon gasps. “Stop! Stop! Ten toes!”
The fire begins and Deacon screams.
Back at Forrester, Liam runs into Lauren on the way out.
She greets Steffy with a hug and says she just came from seeing Eric.
She wanted to check on Steffy after everything she went through with Sheila.
She knows how awful it had to have been for Steffy that night she passed.
Lauren says not to feel guilt. She did them a favor by eliminating Sheila Carter.
Spoilers for next week’s B&B!
Deacon says, “Finn they had ten toes! What if she’s alive?”
Hope tells Luna she’d love it if she and Zende worked closely together. He probably has a lot of secrets to share.
RJ asks Luna if something happened after the party.
