Wednesday, July 12, 2023, full episode recap of B&B: Hope tells Thomas how good it is to give in, Katie worries about Hope’s marriage, and RJ pushes Liam to reach out to Hope.
Tuesday’s B&B recap: Hope declared Thomas her true love, RJ and Wyatt told Liam to forgive Hope, and Sheila wished she could be with Deacon.
Thomas and Hope continue having sex at his place. When they stop, he says it feels like they are made for each other. She’s beautiful inside and out.
He makes Hope feel alive and she never wants that feeling to end. He brings out something in her she never knew existed.
She’s never known this part of herself and part of it scares her. It’s like something has been unleashed. It feels strong and powerful.
That sounds good to him. She wonders if this is what it feels like when her mom follows her heart.
It took a lot for her to admit how she feels about him when she knows it’s wrong. But she had to give in. This is so much better than what she dreamed of.
They kiss and smile. He never could have imagined how incredible it would be for them to be together.
When she’s in his arms, part of her is screaming that she doesn’t know what she’s doing. She hates that she hurt her husband and worries she’s gone crazy and thrown her perfect life away. But she can’t stop wanting him.
They have sex again.
He knows she did her best to save her marriage. She’s wonderful and any man should be grateful to be with her. He wants to put her first and make sure she knows she’s the only one.
She wonders if she’s feeling so overwhelmed because she’s a married woman. But she feels no shame. What they have is so passionate and incredible.
Before she can go, he asks if their being together is something she can actually handle. She says he’s unlocked something in her and she wants to keep exploring that but she also needs to figure out the next steps.
“Can we keep this between us?” she asks. He agrees. They make out some more.
At the Spencer Publications office, Liam sends Wyatt a text for a meeting. RJ asks him about crashing at his dad’s place. He can understand needing time away but that can build walls.
He encourages Liam to talk to his wife before it’s too late. When he keeps pushing this, Liam reminds him that he warned Hope numerous times about Thomas. They had an understanding about him working with her but she backtracked on it.
Now Hope has blown up their lives. RJ furrows his brow.
Losing it, Liam declares that he wants the last several months of his life back. He wants the Hope he was married to back.
RJ tells him that he can have it back. Liam says he’s a good little brother, but life is complicated.
RJ urges him to focus on how much he loves Hope and their family. Then he can forget that she kissed Thomas. He guarantees it won’t happen again.
Liam tells him how excited he was to go to Rome to find his wife.
He looked for her at the Colosseum because he thought that was cosmic and imagined her running to him.
Instead, he saw her looking at Thomas with desire and kissing him.
She kissed the one man she knew he hated more than anyone. RJ is sorry but he thinks he can find it in his heart to forgive her.
Liam would like that but he can’t get that image out of his head. Forgiveness isn’t in the cards.
RJ doesn’t believe he’s a quitter and is sure he knows in his heart that he needs to fight for his marriage. If he doesn’t do that now, he will be stuck with regret for the rest of his life.

At Forrester Creations, Katie worries to Carter and Ridge that Hope and Thomas’ possible relationship could have an impact on the company.
She thinks Hope needs to be concentrating on her marriage.
She’s sure that Thomas and Hope were just riding high on the success of their show but they are home now.
Katie quizzes them about what they saw between Hope and Thomas.
Ridge warns her to back off on his son. He may have a troubled past but he’s no backsliding.
Carter knows how proud Ridge is of his son. Ridge points out how impeccable Thomas’ work has been.
Katie concedes that this is on Hope and Liam needs to forgive her so things can go back to normal.
