Friday, September 1 recap of B&B: Ridge tells Liam Steffy is moving home, Steffy and Finn discuss her fears, and Sheila tells Deacon she’s tired of her life being on hold.
Thursday’s B&B recap: Steffy and Finn shared a tender reunion after Liam told Finn to prove himself by getting rid of Sheila.
Liam sits in his office at Spencer Publications hardly able to concentrate on work. He keeps thinking about kissing Steffy. Ridge shows up with news about Steffy.
Liam frowns when he’s informed that she’s moving back in with her husband. This is hard for him to understand. He thought Steffy was smarter than this.
Ridge is sure that his daughter has her eyes open. They rehash why Sheila isn’t in prison. Ridge beats himself up for going along with Bill’s stupid plan. He should have known that wouldn’t work.
Liam points out that he did all he could to put Sheila away while Finn is sympathetic to her. She wants love and is determined to get it from her son.
He keeps venting about Finn giving Sheila the slightest chance. Ridge still respects Finn. It’s not his fault. He’s still not glad about Steffy moving back to the cliff house.
Liam admits that he still loves Steffy and wants to resurrect their relationship but insists this is just about protecting his family. He’s sure that Finn’s blindness to Sheila means this won’t end well.
At Deacon’s, he tells Sheila the health inspector will be there in a couple of days. The topic turns to her and her relationship with Finn.
He’s worried that she thinks that’s going to happen “today.”
What’s going on in that head of hers? Sheila claims she can work miracles. She tells him how exciting it is to watch him looking after his restaurant.
He asks her again what she’s planning. She’s tired of feeling like her life is on hold and is making something happen today.
He urges her to remember she’s been given a chance to reinvent herself and lists all that she has in her life. She repeats that she’s grateful for all he’s done for her. But she feels like she’s being held up in the apartment.
Everyone hates her. If she could win Finn over, nothing else would matter.
Sharpe urges her to take stock of what she has and how fortunate she has been to get where she is. That’s why she’s determined to grasp this moment. He advises her not to push too hard.
Sheila recounts how she had to give Finn up and suffer so much disappointment, especially him falling in love with another woman. That’s a bitter pill for her to swallow.
Fed up, she takes off.

Daily B&B spoilers into August
At the cliff house, Steffy tells Finn that she’s ready to come back home with the kids. She has no idea how badly he’s wanted her to say those words. They kiss.
He tells her she can always trust that she and their family will come first. Steffy tells him not to doubt how much she’s missed him. They kiss.
She admits she’s a bit nervous bringing the kids back. Her husband tells her that he visited Liam to make him back off, but he reminded him of something that resonated: it’s his job to keep her and the kids safe.
He tells her about what a mess he is without her and how he’s barely kept the place clean. That confuses her since he loves to clean. She orders him to clean the kitchen.
Getting serious, she asks if he’s had any contact with Sheila while she’s been at Eric’s. He promises he’s had zero contact. If he did, he will tell her never to bother him again. He’ll never forget what she did.
Finn tells his wife he would give his life for her and promises again to keep Sheila away. She believes it.
As they hug, Sheila’s shadow is cast on the house. Finn tells his wife that he never wanted to let her down.
He wouldn’t ask her back if he didn’t think he could protect her. He vows she will never have to deal with Sheila again.
They’ve missed each other’s bodies. She’s eager to reconnect. They make out. She shudders when she spots Sheila by the kitchen window.
“She’s here!” she yelps.
