In the Friday, February 3, 2023, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Katie fumes to Brooke about what Taylor did, Taylor tells Steffy how close she’s become to Brooke, and Sheila tries Deacon’s new sauce.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Katie had a warning for Sheila, Sheila taunted Katie about being frail, while Finn and Steffy had sex to lift the stress.
Katie barges into the cabin and tells Brooke that Taylor shooting Bill is crazy.
Brooke says she was driven to it.
They agree that’s no excuse.
Brooke’s heart goes out to Taylor is a big way.
Her sister goes on about how shocked she is about everything.
Sitting down, they go over how vulnerable and hurt Bill was, leaving him open for the “master manipulator.”
Steffy’s heart must be broken by how hard her mom is taking all this.
Brooke is glad she can be there for Taylor.
Her friend thinks the only way to stop Sheila is to turn herself in but that price is to high to pay.
Even if she turned herself in, Bill could just buy a judge. It’s all so sad.
Brooke finds this whole situation sick. They both wish Bill would wake up.
Katie is amazed that she’s become friends with Taylor.
Brooke says they have more in common than they thought. She’s remarkable.
She vowed to stand by Taylor and intends to keep it.
At the cliff house, Steffy is shocked when her mom tells her about Sheila dropping by her office and asking for peace and harmony.
She got to her by pointing out they aren’t too different.
They are both haunted by shooting people.
Her daughter insists she’s nothing like Sheila.
That’s what Brooke told her to. Brooke has become a real lifeline for her.
That’s comforting now that she has all this guilt about Sheila being free because of her.
Steffy is surprised they have been spending so much time together.
Taylor wishes she could have calmed herself down.
She keeps mulling over shooting someone and not being held accountable.
Now the people she loves are in danger and it’s on her.
Steffy repeats that she needs to stop beating herself up.
Taylor paces and pulls on her sleeves.
Her daughter tells her Sheila always screws up and she will pay.
Taylor still wants to confess so things can be made right.
It’s the only way to keep the family safe.
Steffy repeats that this the wrong idea. It will fail and the sacrifice is too big.
Her mom gets it but there’s more to it than that for her.
She’s still traumatized by what she did and can’t let Sheila escape justice.
“I won’t,” she vows.
Steffy warns she will only make things worse. Taylor rehashes the situation again.
“Stop stop!” Steffy begs. Her mom doesn’t.
She thinks that not confessing will make her a hypocrite.
Her daughter points out that turning herself in will cost her relationship with Hayes and Kelly.
Taylor feels like a burden.
Her daughter tells her they will figure out a way to take care of Sheila.
They hug.

B&B opinion: Pushing fans too far
Sheila is trying the latest pizza at Il Giardino.
She’s impressed.
He thinks it amazing that they can be like this and she’s out of the pokie.
They talk about meeting in secret and how Bill might get the wrong idea if he catches them together.
He wipes some sauce from her lips and licks it from his finger.
There was a time he would have kissed her.
Deacon asks if she’s tired of the “gasbag” and calls her Bill’s “mistress.” She doesn’t like that.
Sheila knows he still has feelings for him and doesn’t want to rub salt in the wounds.
“I’m a big boy but you know that,” he says. She laughs.
He thinks Bill is a “cartoon” but she says no one knows the Bill she knows.
Things would be great if people didn’t keep coming by unannounced. Especially Katie.
She’s tried to make it clear to Katie that she can’t undermine her to the man she loves.
He reminds her that Katie and Bill share a kid. Sheila won’t stand by and let her turn Bill against her. There will be consequences if she does.
That sounds like a threat to him. She points out Katie would be threatened by a “good morning.”
Sheila goes on about how blessed she is to be with Bill and how no one will jeopardize her freedom.
She heads out, grabbing another slice on the way and laughing.
