Thursday, July 6, 2023, full episode recap of B&B: Hope’s family ponder what happened, Steffy tells Thomas that Liam knows, and Hope keeps begging Liam for forgiveness.
Wednesday’s B&B recap: Heartbroken Hope begged skeptical Liam to forgive her as Steffy told Thomas she knew about the Colosseum kiss.
At the cabin, Hope tells Liam that coming home was a start and begs for the chance to fix the damage she has caused. He doesn’t think this is the kind of thing you fixed.
She’s ashamed of what she did and begs for the chance to make it better and fight for their family. Can he forgive her?
She still believes in them. He twitches and knows they’ve been through a lot. He wanted their family to thrive but can’t give her what she needs.
He can’t forgive this and their marriage is over. He’s sure she knew it would be if she chose this and he wants a divorce.
A tear runs down her cheek and she shakes her head. She’s sure he doesn’t mean that.
Her husband says he will be haunted by what happened. Hope says they can get past this because she’s forgiven him for so much worse.
She apologizes for that. He nearly falls into the fireplace and then informs her that he’ll be staying at his dad’s and they’ll figure something out with the kids.
This isn’t what he wants but she chose the one thing she knew he couldn’t survive. He’s sure that she wants Thomas and has feelings for him and has made him feel crazy for months by denying it.
She reminds him they always find their way back to each other. They’ve both made mistakes but find forgiveness.
If it had been anyone else, he explains, they could do that. But not with Thomas.
The door on them having a future is closed.
“I just have to ask…have you seen Steffy since this all happened?” she asks, guessing that he has. She realizes it’s not just her that’s the problem. Steffy has always had a seat at teh table in their relationship.
She assumes he wants his ex back now. That’s pretty predictable.
He claims he hasn’t had a single thought about Steffy. He’s sure there must be something broken in Hope for her to want Thomas.
“Maybe you’re right,” she says.
Liam says goodbye and walks out.
When Liam gets to work, he replays his conversations with Hope in his head and catching her in the other man’s arms.

At the cliff house, Steffy prods Thomas to admit Hope kisses him. He does.
He didn’t plan it and the last thing he wants is to ruin her marriage.
His sister insists this is all Hope’s fault and that kiss changes everything.
He says the situation is complicated and none of her business. She insists it is her business if it impacts their company.
Her brother doesn’t think she should get involved. Steffy explains the truth is out and Liam knows everything. He’s shocked and his jaw drops.
She explains that Liam flew to Rome to tell his wife how committed he was but instead she found him kissing another man. She’d never seen him so heartbroken and disillusioned.
Thomas feels like he should talk to Liam but Steffy tries talking him out of that. Her brother doesn’t want to be responsible for any more pain in Hope’s life.
When Thomas gets home, Hope burst in. He knows Thomas knows.
She explains that Liam wants a divorce and sees no way forward for them.
She rushes into his arms and he holds her.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge offers to be there for Brooke if she needs someone to lean on.
RJ comes in and thinks it’s nice to see them together.
They all worry about Hope. After sitting down to a box of croissants, Ridge says they may never know why Hope did what she did.
Brooke admits she’s been concerned about her daughter’s feelings for Thomas for some time. She tries to come up with an explanation.
She’s sure Hope is mortified and will fight for her marriage.
The more she thinks about this, the more it doesn’t make sense. She never thought her daughter would risk all she believes in just for a moment with Thomas.
She and her daughter have had some painful conversations and she’s concerned about all her statements about not wanting to be like her. She suspects she was lashing out because she was having feelings for the wrong man. That may have cost Hope her relationship with Liam.
