In the Friday, October 28, 2022, full episode recap of CBS’ Bold and the Beautiful, Katie and Brooke gossip over tea, Sheila urges Deacon to forget about Brooke, and Thomas tries to stifle his fantasies about Hope.
We also have Thursday’s B&B recap where Hope freaked after the infamous mannequin reappeared, Brooke doubled-down on her warnings about Thomas, and Steffy cited her for harassment.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas tells himself that Hope is off-limits as she models his latest design. As they discuss taking it in, Liam and Douglas interrupt.
That’s awkward. Hope squints at her husband.
Liam explains the kid wanted to come over. Douglas says Liam wasn’t him to leave Eric’s. Liam knows he’s not his dad but cares about him and kisses him.
He was hoping Hope could help explain why he should come home for a bit. “That is what you want too?” he asks his wife.
Hope looks at Thomas. She says that if Douglas is happy where he is, they will find a way to make it work.
That sounds great to Douglas, and he asks his mom to stay at the house for the whole weekend. Liam looks heartbroken.
He stands in the doorway and furrows his brow as he tries not to watch all the family hugging.
Katie drops by Brooke’s. Her sister tells her that Liam has been dropping by a lot while Hope has been working with Thomas.
She changes the topic to Bill. Katie assumes he’s stopped by to see her since Ridge reunited with Taylor.
Brooke admits Bill came to check on her. “Yeah, I bet,” says Katie.
Her sister insists she doesn’t want Bill or anyone else to save her. She just wants Ridge back and wishes she could understand what changed between them.
Brooke fills her in on Bill and Deacon both throwing themselves at her.
This really solidifies things for Katie. She can’t give her heart to Bill… especially since there are men out there who will give her their whole heart.
Brooke guesses she’s found a new man. Katie gasps but won’t talk about it.
Sipping tea, Brooke gossips about the problems facing Hope’s marriage.
Brooke tries again to pry information from her sister about the new man in her life. Katie promises she and Donna will be the first to know when there is something to tell.
Liam drifts in as Katie takes off.
He immediately starts complaining about Hope and Douglas doing what Thomas wants again. He’s getting shut out.
Liam recaps everything he did today and his attempts to convince Douglas to come home again. Brooke tells him he’s been very patient.
He walked in on Thomas with his hands on Hope, doing that whole “designer” thing and he doesn’t know how she can handle that.
Brooke flashes back to her conversation with her daughter about Thomas being hot.
Liam knows his wife wants to give Thomas the benefit of the doubt, but he can’t understand why she isn’t more repelled by being around him.
Now Douglas wants his family to spend the weekend together and he’s not invited. Hope didn’t rule it out.
“It feels like there’s more going on here,” he worries.
Brooke knows he’s trying to look out for his family. He’s freaking out that no one is listening to him.
Back at Forrester, Hope happily watches Thomas teaching his son about dressmaking. Douglas loves them all hanging out like this. He loves them and wishes they would love each other too.
That’s awkward.

B&B opinion: Steffy & Thomas gruesome two-some?
At his place, Sheila asks Deacon if he went running to Brooke after learning that she and Ridge split up. He admits it.
She tells him what he wants will never happen. He’s dreaming if he thinks he has a shot with Brooke.
Sheila knows he wants to be the guy Brooke turns to but that’s not him. The best thing for everyone is that he stays away from her.
He wonders if that’s supposed to be a threat. She accuses him of stalking Brooke. She’d like him to be realistic.
“That’s hillaire. That’s a riot coming from you,” he says.
Sheila is grateful to be with him, but it’s hardly what Brooke imagines when she thinks of moving on.
Besides, she’s spoiled him and is sure that Brooke can’t hold a candle to what they do at night.
He wants to drop this and for her to leave it out of her twisted mind. She asks him to distract her.
All she does is stare at the walls, watch soaps, and wait for him to come home. He’s made such a safe place for her. She wakes up every day with a smile on her face.
“You are my whole world,” she tells him. She could have left town. It would have been easier, but she needed to stay close to her son and grandson.
Deacon drives her crazy. She strokes him and says she will try to repay him for what he’s done. They make out.
